Our lovely one-bedroom English basement apt in the heart of D.C. is perfect for the curious traveler! Designed with the traveler in mind, guests can rest easy while living like a local. One block north to the Shaw Metro - guests can be on the White House steps in just over 15! 20-minute walk from Capital One Area great for Caps & Wizards games and the Convention Center!

The space was completely renovated in 2021 and is entirely separated from the above townhome apartment. The apartment boasts modern decor, a laptop friendly workspace, excellent wifi, and an open floor plan. HUGE TV, complete with smart streaming; perfect for all your viewing needs!

The kitchen is quaint and comes well equipped with essentials including a wine fridge - perfect for those hoping to whip up a small meal or breakfast in between restaurant hopping (so many restaurants to choose from just minutes on foot)!

The apartment is a spacious one bedroom English basement located just a few blocks away from two metro stations (Shaw/Howard & Mt Vernon Sq. Convention Center), Capital Bikeshare (CaBi), and Metro bus lines, you’ll be hard-pressed to find yourself with little to do.


PARKING: Unfortunately, I don't have a designated parking spot for my guests. However, there is a great app I recommend called SpotHero that offers affordable rates for many parking garages nearby. You’ll also find free 2-hour street parking at the end of the block, which you can use anytime, and it’s unrestricted overnight from midnight to 7AM.

Other things to note
NO PARTIES, EVENTS, or "GATHERINGS", or unauthorized visitors are allowed on the premises. If you are visiting to celebrate a birthday or special occasion, let us know in your intro message, even if you do not plan to host it at the house. Unfortunately, I am no longer able to accommodate animals of any kind.
