Getting Around:

● Drive, bike, or walk within the community. You will need a car to go anywhere outside of the community. Uber and taxi cabs are available in the area, but can have long wait times or be difficult to find.

● We strongly recommend that you travel in an AWD/4WD vehicle. We are located in the mountains. Roads tend to be dirt or loose gravel, and they can be very icy or snow covered.



Other Things to Note:

The rental agreement will be sent to you once the reservation is accepted. Your booking is only confirmed once it is signed. Kindly complete it within 24 hours to secure your reservation. If not signed within the deadline, your booking may be cancelled with no refund.



● This property can host a maximum of 8 guests, including children and infants, per the local governing regulations.



● Dog fee is $100. All dogs must be vetted. We allow a maximum of 3 dogs per booking, and we have the right to decline dogs based on breed or age. The appropriate fees will be requested once final approval has been confirmed.



Registration & Community Access

● Guests shall complete registration with Arrowhead Lake Community, which includes charges covering entry and amenity use, including administrative and access fees based on group size, number of vehicles, season, and guest age. Wander Home will facilitate this registration process, and payment will be requested through the booking platform.

● Vehicles – Entry gate access (QR code) will be sent via email

● Amenities – Amenity passes will be sent via email



Fees include:

● $20 transaction charge per group - This is included in the booking total

● $20 gate card applies per vehicle

● Temporary Membership (for guests age 6 and older):

- $8.50 per person, per day during peak season (May 23 – Sept 1, 2025), or $42.50 per person, per week.

- $2.00 per person, per day during off-season (Apr 1, 2025 – May 22, 2025 & Sept 2, 2025 onward).

● Registration and/or bookings finalized within 3 days of arrival will include a $100 community processing charge, in accordance with community policy.



Note: Transaction fees are non-refundable regardless of cancellation. Temporary membership and gate card fees may be refundable if cancellation requests are submitted at least three days prior to arrival. These fees are processed separately, as the booking platform cannot calculate charges based on the number of guests or vehicles.



POOLS - Open in Summer only. Pools will only be open on weekends until mid-June when they will be open daily, staffing/weather permitting.

LAKES - Open for boating (and swimming) however, the water is still very cold. Anyone on a kayak, canoe, paddle boat or boat less than 16 ft in length is should wear a lifejacket.

BEACHES - Open in Summer only. Swimming is at your own risk.

RENTAL SHACK - Open in Summer only. Open on weekends until mid-June when they will be open daily, staffing/weather permitting. Kayaks, canoes, paddle boats, bicycles and sports equipment can be rented.



Access to the Arrowhead Lake community amenities (such as the pool, lake, beach, etc.) is managed by the HOA and is subject to change without notice. Availability, operating hours, and reservation requirements are outside of our control. We recommend checking the official community website or calling their direct office phone number for the most up-to-date information before your stay.



Please note, these fees are not set by us as hosts. They are established by the Arrowhead Lake community and apply to all guests. These charges help cover the costs of operating and maintaining the many great amenities and facilities available during your stay.



Wander Home welcomes guests with fully verified profiles. Please upload your government-issued ID and payment method in your account settings, as well as send us a photo of your ID.



Eligible refunds are subject to a 6% processing fee.



A damage waiver fee ($40) is included for all reservations.



Given the rural setting of the property, occasional sightings of ants, spiders, flying insects, and mice may occur despite our year-round pest control efforts. We strive to manage these encounters to the best of our ability, but cannot guarantee that the house will be completely pest free.



NOTE: We provide enough essential items to cover stays of about 2-3 nights. If you need more supplies during your stay, you can visit one of the following nearby stores: Family Dollar, Ahart's Market, CVS, Wawa, and Pinewood Deli



We do our best to ensure there is propane available for grills and/or fire pits, but cannot guarantee there will be propane for use throughout your stay. If all available tanks are empty, we ask that you refill a tank and provide a receipt for reimbursement. Note: be sure to refill/replace the existing tanks - do not purchase a brand new tank



When drought, weather or other conditions present an unusual fire risk, a burn ban may be imposed by the community without prior notice.

● We are here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is up to you. We are only a phone call or message away. You and your party will be able to self check-in upon arrival.

● Please remember that you are staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on-site 24/7.
