Walking distance to the beach, unbeatable views, and a gorgeous home to rest your head? This home has it all for you and your loved ones to have the East Coast beach vacation of your dreams. Play all day on the beach by participating in fun rentals and excursions like parasailing, paddleboarding, surfing, and every other waterfront activity you can imagine. Just a few minutes' drive over the bridge, you'll find local eateries, arts, entertainment, and an array of family-friendly attractions. Play in the saltwater pool when you want to stick closer to home!

Inside you'll find a bright interior with lots of natural light, as well as a warm air of welcoming throughout the home. Make memories by eating home-cooked meals and playing board games around the formal dining table. The group's chef will love preparing meals and beach picnic snacks in the full kitchen, with stainless steel appliances and all the cupboard room you could ever need. All the bedrooms are comfortable, with ample space for personal effects, but the main bedroom has a lovely en suite bathroom with a soaking tub and walk-in shower. At the end of the day, relax on the wraparound deck and take in the unbeatable North Carolina sunset.

THINGS TO KNOW
The private pool is open from May 1st through October 15th. Pool Heat is available upon request at $60 per day. You can contact guest services and add the pool heat to your reservation. Please provide at least 72 Hours advance notice. Pool heat is not available in July and August.
This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. No more dogs are allowed.
Parking notes: No parking available.

3 days notification is required in order to heat the pool. A fee of USD 60 per day must be paid prior to check-in to purchase pool heat for your stay.
Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. Fall family time

Great location to enjoy all that OBX has to offer. House is very roomy and the beds were very comfortable. Loved being able to have our canine family member with us. Second year to use this facility and would use it again if we get the opportunity.

Trash Galore

We arrived to a very dirty carpet, bathrooms not cleaned properly and the worst of all broken bags of garbage spread across the front lawn. Twice we texted (and sent pics) the management company and we’re told someone would come out and clean it up. No one ever showed in the five days we were there. Overall the house was ok, but we were soured on the property from day one and that never changed.

A perfect coastal getaway!

This spacious home provided a home base for our fun adventures. Within a short walking distance to the beach, access led to a more secluded section of beach. A wooded trail made its way to a crosswalk, which led to the beach access. Beautiful. The clean and refreshing pool was waiting for us after our beach visits. The pool light made for a unique night time swim. Great location. The home is near many good restaurants. Check out the wild horses a little north of this location. Nearby is also a neat lighthouse to climb and capture a spectacular view of the surroundings. Our kids enjoyed parasailing. A few minute ride to check out the Wright Brothers Memorial. Keep an eye out for flying pelican formations and dolphins. The kids also enjoyed seeing the ghost crabs. Pick up some delicious treats at Duck Donuts. We had a great time. This home is a great OBX destination. Enjoy.

Family vacay

We had a full house last week! The location is fantastic, and the pool is wonderful. However, there’s some minor fixes that would majorly improve future guests experience. The master bathroom door did not lock. The Master bed on second floor was painful to sleep in. The washing machine in the laundry room worked when it felt like it. Took hours to run a single load. There are zero amenities in the kitchen. No salt/pepper, no hand soap for the sinks. Kitchen was very unorganized and the floor was sticky. Old macaroni was stuck to the pot holders. It’s a nice, big house with lots of space, just needs more attention to detail.

So-so

The home itself needs maintenance. Lots of fixtures are just falling apart. The carpet was really nasty. The floors on the top floor are very uneven. Some of the boards on the front decking are loose and a trip hazard. The washer is rusting from under it. Otherwise a nice, quiet private spot for vacation in an established nrighborhood. Easy entrance into the community via atop light. Not a lot of dishes or utensils. Neiboehood has lovely walking/biking access. Pool is nice and secluded. The bathrooms have very low toilets with the exceprion of the top floor master. The furnishings just werent the best. Very unstable dining room chairs. Slidimg screen door on rop level was laying on the deck when we arrived. The "service fees" and "other fees" are rediculous and not disclosed what they are for. On top of the that cleaning fees and taxes. We had a great time but this place needs attention.

Could be a lot better (location great; house, not so much)

Our stay was fine. The location is probably the best part of the property - very short walk to the beach, but away from the busy road. The house, however, could use some updating and maintenance. As soon as we arrived, the check-in code did not work, and the other options that Vacasa gave us also did not work, so we had to wait until they called us back about 10 mins later to enter. The place had been cleaned, but there are just maintenance items that need updating: the carpets are stained and dirty, house smells like dogs and is musty, the ceramic toilet paper holder in the main bathroom was broken and off the wall, and 4 out of the 7 chairs in the dining room were broken - two completely, one with a leg that was ready to go any moment, and I almost fell after sitting on one for a moment and it almost collapsed (I'm 130 lbs). We messaged the team, but they said they would check / they did check / or they would check in the future. We used chairs from the deck for the rest of the trip. I paid over $400 to heat the pool only to find that the heater was never even on. Then when we turned it on, the LS symbol was on, indicating it was defected / low gas. Again, great location, not such a great house.

1500 characters isnt enough to describe the stay

As soon as you walk in the filthy and stained carpets are hard to miss. The kids walked barefoot on the hardwood floors for 15 mins and their feet were black, after that we made them wear shoes the entire time, even in pajamas. 1 bed was missing sheets and pillow case , we called and texted customer service they said the crews were done for the day and we would get sheets at some point the next day (monday) . We found a trash bag full of dirty sheets and towels in one of the closets. The washer machine DOESN’T WORK, the outlet is broken and the washer keeps shorting out so it would fill with water and then cut off. We found old towels still on the towel bars, someone’s under wear under a dresser, vents covered in dust. We brought all this to the attention of some one from the cleaning crew that dropped off our sheets (monday) he explained the house only gets deep cleaned once a year which consists of dusting fans and vents and moving furniture.. but that didn’t explain the dirty towels and sheets and filthy floor, we asked for someone to clean the common area (kitchen and living room) which we were promised after speaking to the manager.. by Wednesday we haven't heard from or seen anyone. We reached out to the manager again only asking for a cleaning fee refund . The manager was very reluctant and insisted they needed to talk to the cleaning crew even though we sent a lot of pix , the manager eventually agreed to $287 refund which we have not received yet. Pool was nice.

Very seclusive!

I like the location of the house. We did not have a lot of traffic and it was still a short walk to the beach. The pool was refreshing and having a few floats to use was nice! The elevator came in handy. We did not have to use it much but it was a nice surprise that we did not think we would use. Putting all of our groceries and luggage to take them to the top floor made it easy! We enjoyed the stay!

Last minute beach trip!

We found this home and grabbed it for a last minute summer trip! The house was beautiful and we loved how close it was to the beach access. Girls had a great time in the pool! I would rent again! The only thing I would recommend are more sharp knives in the kitchen and a measuring cup and measuring spoons!🤣. Maybe some back lights heading to the pool. It is pretty dark back there and a little spooky when it is dark! Otherwise we loved it!

Nice family stay

Great location for a walk to the beach and chairs and umbrellas at the house to take with you. Pool is great with some noodles and floats available. Lots of room inside with all of the necessities. Plenty of hand soap, bath towels, dishwasher and laundry detergent. Didn’t need to contact the host on our trip! Would stay again.

Family vacation

The house is set in a lovely neighborhood and it’s quiet and private. The pool is wonderful and you can see the ocean from the upper balcony. The house was clean and my family had plenty of room and levels to chill out when needed. I received excellent service from Vacasa. Be sure and find the beach access trail for a lovely walk. This house is close to restaurants and grocery stores with access through the neighborhood so you can avoid the busy Ocean boulevard.
