Bedårende 2-værelses sommerhus på stor 1/3 hektar stor del i stille sidegade nær bugten strand. Bare renoveret og udvidet i 2016! Ny spisestue, ny solterrasse med gaspejs, og fuldstændigt opgraderet og forstørret køkken med granitbord og alle nye apparater! Nyt dæk (med Weber gasgrill) i privat baghave, bakket op i bevaringslandet. Smukt boligområde med større boliger året rundt. Sommerhuset ligger i det historiske kvarter Yarmouth Port kun en blok fra den historiske 'Captain's Mile' med snesevis af elegante havkaptajnerhuse. Tæt på charmerende by Yarmouth Port butikker og restauranter. Dette søde sommerhus ligger kun en kilometer fra en stille, familievenlig livbevogtet strand. Grey's Beach har en vidunderlig strandpromenade ud over myra, som er et meget populært sted at se de storslåede Cape Cod solnedgange. Der er et tilstødende overdækket picnicområde ved Grey's Beach og toiletfaciliteter. Huset ligger også i gåafstand til en bylegeplads. Another great stay

We had another great stay at this perfect cottage! The house is always clean and has everything you need. Great for a small family and is close to the beach. The owners are so nice and very helpful with anything you need.

Added Pleasure!

Staying at this beautifully decorated cottage made the trip much more fun. Everything we wanted was in a walkable distance. Visited the Edwin Gorey House, a walk through the local cemetery (1771 sites),the Parmassis bookstore, the Royal II Restuarant, the Herring Run, so many beach walks. And so much more that we will have to go back!

Charming Cape Home

What a charming home! It was well appointed and met all our needs. The home is cozy, yet comfortable and centrally located. In fact, the grocery store is no more than approximately 2 miles away. The place is stocked with necessities and renters help to keep things stocked up to include sandwich bags and detergent/fabric softener which was appreciated. I'm a gardener and seeing the window boxes, showy flower pots, lavender and hydrangea made my heart soar. I happily watered and deadheaded voluntarily and it made me very happy! Also by the front door was an American flag which we hung in it's holder outside. This gave us a sense of community. The owners were traveling during our stay and we're sure to provide contact information for backups ahead of time, in case we needed help with anything but all went smooth. I particularly enjoyed the sunroom which was really beautiful, especially when the sun shined through it's many windows. We celebrated our sons birthday here too! The beach is a short drive away and has a boardwalk. Parking is 25 but free after 4! You will enjoy your stay here!

Wonderful seaside family vacation

We spent four nights at Pat and Bob’s adorable Cape Cod cottage and it was exactly what we needed. There was lots of space for our family (two adults, a four year old, and a two year old) and we were close to grocery store, coffee shops, ice cream etc. We enjoyed biking around the quaint, beautiful neighbourhood and spent days at nearby beaches and whale watching! What an amazing and magical part of the world. Thank you for sharing your property with us! We hope to be back!

Wonderful cottage!

We loved staying at this cute cottage. Loved eating breakfast at the table in the sunroom. It was well stocked and very clean. The location was centrally located and perfect for exploring Cape Cod. Everything was so nicely decorated. The owners were very responsive to our questions. My only suggestion is it would be nice to have a full bathroom on the 2nd floor with the bigger bedroom. Otherwise, perfect!

Perfect size and perfect location for a pair of Cape lovers

My husband and I have stayed at vacation rentals around the world, and one of the biggest challenges is finding a place that's feels right for two. This charming Cape was just right. We slept upstairs in the roomy bedroom under the eaves and used the downstairs bedroom as a dressing room. The cottage was immaculate and charmingly furnished with great wall art, lots of books, a well-equipped kitchen, and the overall felt like a home -- exactly what we're looking for in bypassing the sterile feel of most hotels and motels. And it is located in the historic heart of the Cape, just off the Old King's Highway -- Route 6A -- one of the most beautiful roads in the USA that winds along the north shore from Sandwich to Orleans, passing dozens of historic homes, historic inns, historic shops, etc. A short drive to the north or south brings you to miles of beach at Sandy Neck or Mayflower Beach, and from the Barnstable town dock you can head out on a whale watch or pick up a rental kayak to explore Barnstable Harbor. There are a handful of restaurants and shops within walking distance of the cottage, as is the boardwalk over the marsh at Gray's Beach. In short, this cottage was a perfect size and a perfect location for a pair of Cape lovers.

Charming cottage

Nice cottage with a very well equiped kitchen. In a quiet neighborhood with a few close beaches. Mayflower Beach is the best but get there early if you want parking. The only negative point was the matress that was unconfortable.

Wonderful, cozy house in excellent location.

House was clean and well-stocked and very comfortable. Loved the sunroom and enjoyed the gas fire on the chilly nights. Grey’s Beach boardwalk was beautiful and location was great for exploring other parts of the Cape as well.

Adorable Cottage

I stayed for a week with my husband and two small children. The house was exactly how it was pictured-cute Cape cottage with nice flat yard for kids to play in. The street was idyllic and very quiet, with quick access to a few coffee shops on 6A or short drive into Dennis for more restaurants (10 mins). Gray's Beach is a little over a mile away and parking was $20 for the day. It is a beautiful little beach, great for little kids and has a nice Boardwalk to walk down too. Communication with the owners was great--very fast responses. The kitchen was well-stocked and the outdoor shower was helpful since there is only one shower in the house. The sunroom was a lovely place to hang out as well!

Cape getaway.

Great Cottage, updated and comfortable, walk to the beach in a lovely neighborhood. The hosts are responsive and friendly. Highly recommended.

Cape Cod Getaway

Lovely beach house in a great neighborhood off 6A, our favorite part of the Cape. The house is beautifully decorated with everything you need to feel at home. ( you do have to bring your own bed linens and towels) The weather was perfect so we walked to Gray’s beach each morning & sat on the patio to have breakfast. We enjoyed the sunroom & the gas fireplace in the evenings when the day cooled down. Pat was very easy to communicate with & very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed a much needed getaway!!

Yarmouthport Treasure

The cottage was all it was advertised to be and more. My wife and I are in our eighties, and the place was exceedingly easy to live in for a few weeks. It's located on a very quiet street, close to everything we were in search of, our friends at Kingsway just up the street, food shopping, and good restaurants. Their were bedrooms on the first and second floors and at our age we settled on the first floor. The bed was a bit small and would be much more attractive it was a bit bigger but we managed, But everything else was just ideal, a lovely sun porch where we ate all our home cooked meals, a very complete kitchen and outside deck. One issue is that this is an historic area that doesn't permit cell phone towers so reception is nil but there is a house phone for local calls that we used to contact nearby friends and restaurants, All in all a wonderful trip and we hope to be back next year. The owners were extremely accomodating and friendly too!

Perfect Place to Get Away

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful week in this cozy cottage on Cape Cod. It is in a great location on the Cape, within walking distance of Gray's Breach - a picturesque spot to watch the sun set - as well as the shops and restaurants of Yarmouth Port. The house was spotless, with a well-stocked, updated kitchen. Thank you Pat and Bob!

A perfect get-away!

My husband and I were in need of a change of scenery being months long into the COVID 19 pandemic. This house was perfect for us and we enjoyed our stay. It was clean, comfortable and we loved the neighborhood! In the mornings we enjoyed walking to Grey's Beach and taking advantage of the boardwalk. The made a few meals at the house (the well stocked kitchen made this easy and enjoyable!) and also enjoyed some of the great area restaurants. Don't miss going to dinner at the Old Yarmouth Inn!! The house was a perfect, typical cape style house and we loved every minute of it!

Absolutely perfect!

From the beginning, my communications with Pat were so easy and friendly - I knew I'd found somewhere special to stay on the Cape! The house was exactly as described and depicted - and even more well-stocked than I had imagined! More than sufficient kitchen-ware, a small linen closet with lots of thoughtful touches in case you forget something, extra blankets easily found, hangers in the closet(s). The house itself is in a wonderful location - close by to several areas of interest and easy to hop on the highway to explore more areas around Cape Cod. The sunset views from Grays Beach are so spectacular that each night I went, there were people tailgating! Pat and Bob truly go above and beyond to take care that everything is very well cleaned and sanitized. As well, there are useful instructions throughout the house for various items, which is always very helpful. I couldn't recommend this house enough to anyone interested in staying on Cape Cod - what a wonderful place! Thank you!
