Place was perfect for our 2 day stay. In town for family event. Was well stocked with kitchen items and bathroom. Outside area was relaxing. Quaint little place. Host communicated well and everything was as expected. Thank you

The place wasn’t bad, it was close to what we needed for the weekend. There was no curtain on the front door which was a little odd since the home owners were on property and could see right in if they walked past. While the place wasn’t “dirty” there were a lot of flies especially in the bathroom. I’d say over 20 flies. Overall the stay wasn’t bad in anyway but I probably would book something else if I’m ever in the area again.

If there was an issue with flies why wouldn’t you notify me? You spoke to me directly and didn’t say a word. As I was the one who cleaned it before your stay and there was no flies, what did you bring in? No blinds on the front door shouldn’t be an issue unless you’re doing something wrong. Also you can only see the cabinet looking in. It’s better than having to replace the blind so often from everyone breaking it.

Hi, I communicated everything super well. The door code was given and the instructions on how to enter as well. You asked for the WiFi password prior to arrival it was on the app as well as the paper in the house itself. You left wet towels on a television. You didn’t throw the garbage out and you left food on the table. Please of anything communication was my strongest with you.

House is super cute. Much smaller than it looked, but comfy. No heat in the bathroom, which was super cold when taking a shower. Host was pleasant and easily reached. Could benefit from more instructions on things like locking the door keypad or what trash needs to be recycled. Would stay there again

Tammy was great and in a great location. The pups liked walking to the beach and swimming in the water. Was perfect for what we needed.

a little hard to find: hint, look for the address on the garbage cans, because the addresses get a bit wonky further down the block, but this is a lovely spot on the north shore if all you're looking for is a clean bed on a quiet street, and the two bedrooms are so much better for friends or families than would be two rooms in the hotel by the highway -- oh, and there's a nice bagel place just north of the Starbucks on the corner of 25A

Thank you for staying, as stated in the rental they are full size beds. The shower heads swivel with no issues to adjust. Also if there was any concerns with anything why didn’t you reach out? Staff could have helped you address any concerns.

Cozy, clean and private! A tremendously helpful find for our family during a difficult time. Host was very friendly and wonderfully accommodating. Price refreshingly reasonable. We will definitely be returning for annual family visits in the area.

This is a fine place to stay if you just need somewhere to crash for the night. We arrived after dark and the host left zero instructions on how to find/access the house other than the door lock code. It feels strange because there were two cars in the driveway and I had no option but to block one of them in and I was concerned I was inconveniencing the upstairs tenants. We were genuinely worried that we were trying the lock code on the wrong house and only knew we were at the right place when it worked and unlocked the door. The place is fine, had all the amenities you would need but definitely wasn’t the cleanest. There was noticeable dog hair in the carpet in the bedroom and there definitely is a funky sewage smell in the living room area. The shower door is broken and you have to solve a puzzle to get it open, all while being concerned you’re going to break the glass. Again, we crashed here for one night. Got there at 9 pm and were out by 9 am and it served its purpose and was an affordable option. I would just be disappointed if I picked this place for a week long vacation.

Beach apartment

Cute apartment. This is a first floor apartment of a 2 family house. This apartment is used by the homeowners as there is a lot of personal items through the apartment. Backyard is huge and beautifully maintained. We did not get to enjoy it much durning our stay because of bad weather but there is a nice BBQ couch, chairs, koi pond, table for meals & a spa/hot tub. Never seen one like this before it looked a little small but like I said I couldn’t really check it out because of the weather…. Beach is a short 2 block walk. It is rocky beach as is the north shore and the name of this rental, but a nice beach to check out.

Quiet and Cozy

The property manager ensured that booking and check in went smoothly. If you're looking for a 5 star resort or party house, this is NOT the location for you. However, if you're looking for a peaceful getaway on the north shore of Long Island, within walking distance to the beach with your small family, including pet, check it out. Is it flawless? well, no. But you'll find flaws where you look for them. The better question in my mind would be "would I opt to stay there again?".. and the answer is simply "yes". We appreciate the warm hospitality, as well as peace of mind of knowing that the property manager would have been easily accessible, had we had any issue.

Terrible

Dirty refrigerator, freezer, sink and bathroom. Paid for early check in and someone walked right in on us to bring towels and told us we shouldn't be there until regular check in time 4p. Host was rude and not at all accommodating. Would never recommend this unit to anyone.

The refrigerator looks like you did it and tried blaming it not being cleaned. You were scamming to begin with. You stole batteries so corny to steal! You had about 9 people there running some type of huge gathering as stated in the rules no parties.Second you left the place as a dump q-tips, open chips on the table, a gallon of water sitting on a wood table. Bed left open and messy. Cups left on fire place. You left a full garbage can. Crumbs scattered through the house. You followed no house rules. Your husband smoked a blunt in the driveway. Sounds like you were the messy people staging things in favor for yourself. There was a miscommunication in your arrival since I was out of town, which worked out since your husband wasn’t able to lock the door and set alarms off. He was able to help trouble shoot and give you the amount of towels you needed since there wasn’t enough.
