The Honua Kai is a family-friendly property and at times the pool area can be crowded and we’re sorry that your group couldn’t always sit together. We inspected the bed setup and found that the contractors had placed the box spring upside down, and once corrected, the dip was eliminated. Aloha Brian and mahalo for your comments. We agree that this is a nice place, and we’re glad you found it overall to be luxurious. We are sorry to hear that you had a few issues during your stay. It sounds like the a/c in the master was on a preset schedule which can be removed by the Honua Kai team, who manages the a/c throughout the resort. We’re also sorry that you experienced roaches during your stay. While pests are a part of a tropical environment, and the Honua Kai performs quarterly pest treatments, on occasion they find their way back in and we apologize for any discomfort this may have caused. Thank you for notifying our team upon your departure – we have done an additional treatment on this home and have had no further reports of pests. Thank you for your patience with the WiFi situation and accepting the hot spot to stay connected. The WiFi connection has been restored and is now working well. It's our goal to ensure that our appliances are working well, prior to the guest's arrival, and we're sorry that your vacation was inconvenienced due to the ice maker and dishwasher. It is our standard procedure to inform guests of out-of-order appliances prior to their arrival, but we missed the dishwasher, and we apologize for our oversight. We were happy to offer compensation for both appliances, and appreciate your patience and understanding. The owner ordered a new dishwasher which we anticipate will be installed very soon. We are working on the ice maker and hope to have it repaired soon. We also appreciate your feedback on the condition of the lanai cushions and the couch cushions and fabric. We will share your comments with our operations team to address these items. We're glad you enjoyed the beach chairs and cooler, which nicely enhance your beach experience. We're thrilled that, despite the issues with the room, you enjoyed your stay, and the way in which we handled your concerns met your satisfaction.
