Mountain Luxury and Views Galore Near Palmer Lake

Mountain-town escape in the front-range near Palmer Lake and Perry Park with stunning views overlooking Palmer Divide and the Spruce Mountain Event Center. Nestled on the side of Spruce Mountain with easy access to Spruce Mountain Open Space Trail and many other outdoor adventures. With close proximity to Pike National Forest and Rocky Mountain National Park, Larkspur is the perfect home base for your Colorado vacation. Enjoy all this home has to offer plus an abundance of wildlife too.
The space
You'll have 2400 sq ft of private living space on the 1st floor of our 2 story home. The space includes 2 large bedrooms each with their own TV, 2 1/2 granite and tile bathrooms, a full size futon, a separate work space, a family room with a large TV, and a well-equiped gourmet kitchen with a center island for indoor dining. Outside there is a huge patio that includes a brand new grill, fire pit, swing, dining area, bistro table, propane heaters, and edison lights from which to enjoy the INCREDIBLE views. Watch the occassional trains in the distance as they sweep across the valley as if you are in Switzerland.
Other things to note
The space has accessibility options such as a step in whirlpool tub. We have kayaks, bikes, and snow shoes that can be rented upon request. If you have a little one, let us know and we can provide a car seat, stroller, high chair, pack and play, and toys to cover your stay.

Such a beautiful and well maintained property. The hosts have thought of everything. The scenery was awesome. We saw so much wildlife. We especially enjoyed the humming birds. Stephanie and Alan were helpful and informative about the area.

Fantastic Family Trip

A lovely property with plenty of room for the 4 adults and 1 baby we were travelling with. The views and outdoor space were phenomenal for outside family meals.

Absolutely Perfect

We came to Colorado for a wedding and luckily found this listing. Not only is the house beautiful, but the view from this property is breathtaking. They have anything and everything you could think of the house ready for when you arrive (they even has relaxing music playing). Beautiful and Peaceful House

We had an amazing time. Alan and Stephanie are great. The house is clean and well stocked. Sitting on the porch swing and looking out over the valley and mountains was a great way to drink coffee every morning. I will miss the view.

Cozy, Clean, and Sensational View

My family and I came to visit our daughter for Parent’s weekend at the Air Force Academy. Our time at the VRBO was just wonderful! The hosts were so helpful and thought of all the needs travelers might need. The house was clean and cozy. We enjoyed special family time while eating outside and enjoying the spectacular views and taking a neat hike behind the property. Highly recommend a stay here!!! Thank you!!

Great place to stay.

My wife and myself along with our 3 children (8, 10, & 16) stayed here during our vacation to Colorado. It was a great base camp to stay to visit all of the attractions near and around Colorado Springs. Then at the end of the day we could return to rest and relaxation of this home away from home. Magnificent views to wake up to. We really liked the oversized couch. Stephanie and Alan were very accommodating, and sought to make our stay the very best and make sure that all of our needs were met. Thank you for a great stay. Tony N.

Beautiful Property in a gorgeous location

From check in to check out, all was taken care of quickly and with no problems at all. The property is overlooking a beautiful view of the valley and has outdoor chairs and tables so you can enjoy your evening. The property is well appointed with very comfortable chairs and couches to relax in. The bedrooms are very comfortable, one having a queen size bed and the other having a king. There are windows throughout looking out onto the view, yet plenty of window coverings to ensure your privacy. The bathrooms are large with plenty of room. Everything was clean and in excellent condition. The property is well away from any noise, yet very easy to get to. The owners worked to make sure we were well taken care in all aspects. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay there and recommend this property without any reservation.

Our recent stay at this VRBO was nothing short of spectacular, and I cannot praise it enough! From the moment we arrived until our departure, every aspect of the stay exceeded our expectations. First and foremost, the views from this VRBO were absolutely breathtaking. We found ourselves in awe every morning as we woke up to the expansive valley that seemed to stretch out endlessly. Sipping our coffee on the patio or lounging by the fire pit, the beauty of nature surrounded us, creating an incredible sense of tranquility. Including visits from hummingbirds and deer. The attention to detail showcased by the hosts was exceptional. Every nook and cranny of this home was thoughtfully adorned with carefully selected furnishings and decorations, creating an ambiance of elegance and refinement. It was evident that great care had been taken to ensure that the overall aesthetic was not only visually stunning but also seamlessly integrated into the surrounding natural environment. Comfort was undoubtedly a top priority in this VRBO. The bedrooms were outfitted with the most luxurious bedding and linens. The living space was inviting and well-appointed, providing ample space to relax and unwind after a busy day of wedding prep. Amazing Home with Breathtaking Views!

Our family of two adults and four kids (ages 16, 14, 11, and 11) had an amazing stay at this wonderful home with breathtaking views! The pictures don’t do it justice! Stephanie and Alan were great to work with. So helpful with ideas of places to visit and making sure we had everything we needed for a perfect vacation. They even shared a video of the black bear that came to visit while we were out one day. The home is full of everything you could need/want and more. The kitchen is stocked and included extras with a coffee bar, tea options, and our favorite the s’mores station. Bathrooms have cute baskets filled with toiletries. Beds and futon are super comfy. One of our kids slept on the big comfy couch (by his choice). They provided a blow up mattress so our kids wouldn’t have to share a bed. Plenty of sheets, blankets and pillows provided. They seriously have thought of everything! Our favorite was the outdoor space! Started the mornings with breakfast on the swing. It’s so peaceful. We grilled and sat outside every evening to eat dinner so we could soak up the beautiful views. The heaters and fire pit were fun to sit around at night while we hung out and made s’mores. We ended the evenings playing games. They have a great selection of games and puzzles. Favorite adventures close by were the U.S Air Force Academy, U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Center, Empower Field at Mile High Stadium Tour, Rockies game, whitewater rafting, zip lining over the Royal Gorge, Royal Gorge Bridge, Top Golf, Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs, hiking various mountains, and more. Amazing

We had the best stay. The home was super clean and the owners were SO accommodating. Our two young children were perfectly comfortable in the second bedroom. We enjoyed our dinners on the patio overlooking the beautiful scenery. Would 10 out of 10 recommend this place to anyone.

Beautiful spot for a get away

My friends and I stayed here for a quick New Years get away and can I say it was amazing. The morning view was great, hosts were friendly, and the location is great for traveling between Denver and CO Springs.

Destination Wedding

Our stay was Amazing! We enjoyed the beautiful sunrise and Mountain View every morning while enjoying a cup of coffee on the patio. Quiet and Cozy

I stayed on this beautiful property with my sister and daughters. The swing overlooking the view with my morning coffee was just what was needed to unplug. The bed, the sheets were so so comfy. The views are fantastic. The hosts are super nice and helpful. I highly recommend choosing this home for your next stay.

West Coast Hiking Trip

Colorado was one of our spots on a Hiking trip this Summer. The place was beautiful, and the mangers of the rental were so nice and very responsive. It wasn’t in the location that we wanted but it was well worth going! Amazing place and amazing people who run it.
