Wonderful stay in the 1000 Islands. Absolutely relaxing and a wonderful host. Beautiful views, great kayaking and exploring the surrounding communities. Recommended for anyone seeking to unplug for a few days.

Loved Our Stay

Osprey’s Landing is a wonderful vacation property. We loved the cottage, as it’s comfortable and very clean. It has all the amenities, and the setting in the Thousand Islands is spectacular. We plan on going back again. Many thanks to Steve the proprietor.

We had an amazing time! The hosts were so kind, the kitchen is fully equiped, the view is splendid, and the chalet was very clean. We enjoyed the beach and kayak, and the boat trips with Steve. Some fishing as well!Thanks again for the amazing week!!!

We had a wonderful stay on Hog Island. During the entire week, we left the island only twice - once for a sightseeing cruise and once to explore Gananoque and pick up groceries. The beautiful natural surroundings, with swans, geese, and ducks, along with the fresh air and peaceful water, quickly put us in a relaxed and healthy state of mind.The guest house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, swimming, fishing, playing games, reading, and simply taking in the serenity of the island. Since there were only two of us, the one-bedroom house provided more than enough space.Everything worked perfectly, and Steve and Alex were warm, welcoming, and very hospitable hosts. We highly recommend this property to anyone who appreciates nature, peace, and a truly relaxing getaway.

Excellent Experience

Property was extremely clean, very well equipped and wonderfully located. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, with great attention to every detail. The property was even better than what was advertised online, which is a very rare occurrence when seeking out vacation rentals! Perfect vacation spot right in the centre of the best Thousand Islands attractions. Thanks to Steve and Alex for their outstanding hospitality.

Great Trip despite weather

My family of 5 had a great time at this cabin. It is very clean and came with everything we needed for a fun, comfortable week in the thousand islands. The hosts were extremely generous, kind, and easy to communicate with. It was cool and rainy most of our stay, but we still thoroughly enjoyed our time. There is a nice sandy beach and plenty of water toys (canoe, kayaks, paddle boards) and other islands close by to explore.

So beautiful and relaxing

Steve and Alex have created an absolute slice of paradise with their cottage island retreat. Everything about our stay was perfect. The cottage is beautifully decorated and so well appointed, spotlessly clean and comfortable. We loved the gorgeous view from the deck, making s’mores on the campfire, refreshing swims and the bonus of transportation to and from the cottage by boat. Steve and Alex are exceptional hosts!

An absolute gem! Incredibly unique experience - quiet, quaint, and clean. And hosts that go above and beyond to make your stay super memorable. Adventure is truly at your fingertips with waterfont access. I was greeted each morning my goslings running through the yard and looked forward to the cozy abode that awaited me to indulge in an evening meal and book. SO MUCH FUN!

Amazing Island Get Away

We were looking for a quiet get away from home for a few days, post wedding celebrations in our family,. We wanted to escape the hustle and bustle and found the perfect spot here, with a dock to anchor our pontoon boat, we came and went at will. The cottage is so well appointed, we didn't need anything at all, with a covered porch for morning coffees and breakfast outside, and a unique and beautiful setting with water views on three sides. Steve and Alex are perfect hosts and very friendly. We will return for sure, Andree and Peter LeBlancq, Kingston, Ontario.

Incredibly stay!!!

I cannot say enough about our stay. Steve and Alexandra were so gracious, welcoming, kind, helpful and gave us great information and tips (thank you Steve for the tip on doing the boat/castle tour on weekday vs. Weekend!!). The place is great, everything you could need/want. I loved having a washer/dryer and the little touches made us feel very comfortable. Beautiful location, nice island, peaceful/relaxing but things to do also. My teens loved kayaking, swimming, outdoor games, fire, and star watching at night. We are very grateful and would love to stay again. Thank you so much!!

Amazing time at Osprey Landing

We had the most remarkable stay at Osprey landing. My son his partner and granddaughters from Kingston came and stayed as well. Steve provided paddle boards, kayaks, canoes. Steve kindly let my family stay, even though we had forgot to book them, and he went over and above to ensure everyone had a great time. He picked us up in his boat and dropped us off, several times, over the weekend. The cottage was amazing as was the fire pit and the private beach. Staying on one of the thousand islands was always on my bucket list. Steve made it remarkable.

Awesome getaway

This is a delightful little cabin, with such a homey feel .. being on its own island, the seclusion is perfect for a get away .. especially because you have your OWN beach ! .. while on the other hand, You are only a very short boat ride from main land . This was a great stay for us, everything was so new, Inyet you could feel the eye for detail & comfort . And the set up of all the rooms & kitchen made for wonderful functionality, you felt like you were in your own home . The scenery of the St.Lawrence is breath taking . You can’t go wrong with this beautiful home away from home ! 5 stars !

We stayed in the Lawrence's guesthouse for a long weekend in June and had the most wonderful time swimming, paddle boarding, lounging in the hammock, reading in the yard, and going to town for dinner. (Steve was great about taking us to shore any time we wanted.) A bald eagle soared over our heads while swimming, an osprey and white swans with their signets were on display on our boat rides, a great blue heron hung out on the dock, and we loved watching a Canadian goose couple shepherd their 9 goslings around the yard for hours on the one day that it rained and we were inside playing games and watching movies on Roku. The wind on the water can be a bit chilly when the sun is not "hot" hot--at least in June-- but a large fallen maple tree that is still growing on the ground(!) provided a wonderful wind break that allowed us to stay outside in the sunshine even when the wind was too much in the yard. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is fully functional, and the house was very clean. Just make sure to bring some warm clothes with you too (at least in June). The nights are cool and when the sun is not shining brightly the breeze can be a bit chilly.

Little paradise

Very quiet and peaceful. The cottage is located on a small island, next to the owners' house while maintaining enough privacy. Everything is there; all necessary accessories inside and items to enjoy outside; wood fire, canoe, kayaks, life jacket, etc. Stephen and his wife Alex are top notch hosts; friendly, pleasant, available. Definitively something to put on your to-do list!

Wonderful cottage and host

My friend and I had such a wonderful time at this cottage. Not only was it clean and comfortable, but Steve was such a great host making sure we had absolutely everything we needed and going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. I would definitely go back again and would easily rate this get-away a 10/10!! Highly recommend.
