Lovely seaside weekend
This is a darling seaside cottage. It was the perfect get away we were looking for while attending a wedding in Carmel. It is quaint, clean, and tastefully decorated. Located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of the coast, parks, restaurants, and shopping. Looking forward to going back again.
Wonderful birthday weekend in the heart of Pacific Grove!!
This property was perfect for 3 sisters celebrating a 60th birthday! The house was really clean and equipped with anything you would possibly need. All of the beds were super comfortable. It was nice too, to have separate bedrooms. If you are looking for a place around Monterey Peninsula, you are probably finding much smaller places in this price range. If you want space to spread out, this is it! And location was perfect! In the morning we would just walk up the street to get coffee, then down the street to the beautiful beach. Restaurants and shopping are also walking distance. Parking in front of the house was also very easy and the street is very quiet at night.
Overall, a perfect weekend!
5 stars for sure!
Thank you so much!
The cottage was as advertise on the site. Checking in was so simple! As was checking out! Lovely quite neighborhood 2 blocks in one direction for beautiful views at Lovers Point, 2 blocks the other direction to nice local restaurants! Looking forward to returning!
Absolutely As Advertised
Our group stayed at Nina’s place foThe The overview on HomeAway describes exactly what you’ll find, a cozy cottage in a charming town. Our group stayed in Pacific Grove for the US Open at Pebble Beach, and for our purposes, Nina’s house was ideal.
The beds are comfortable, and there’s plenty of bedding. The shower has good pressure, and there are plenty of towels. With as many as five in our group, we never ran out of hot water. Though we never had occasion to cook, the kitchen is surprisingly large, and appears to have everything you would need.
Mostly, and it’s repeated by everyone, it’s the location. Quiet neighborhood. Never a problem parking. Walking distance to everything. The Museum of Natural History is where we caught our shuttle everyday. It’s a two block walk, and itself well worth a visit.
One day, I hope to return to the Monterey Peninsula. Whenever I do, this is where I will stay.
