The Tree Top Haus-Spacious Waterfront Home on Lake Dunlap, New Braunfels

Hello, we are the Stevens and we would like to invite you to Escape to the end of a private road, where the ambiance is serene and relaxing with plenty of space. Cascading porches offer many views of the river. This house is meant to bring people together, with many places to gather around dinner tables or a fire pit, cook in the large kitchen, or enjoy the spacious covered 1st floor patio, located under the house.

Lake Dunlap is a beautiful lake located between i-35 and i-10 on the Guadalupe River. The dam failed in May 2019, bringing the water level down to its natural flowing river height. Because of this, you’ll find that the bulkheads and boat docks look a little far from the water’s edge. But this hasn’t kept us from enjoying the beauty and tranquility of the Guadalupe River, and our guests think so too. The river is still frequented by paddle boards, kayaks, and fishing.

All nearby activities such as Schlitterbahn, The Bandit golf course, Tube Schute at the Comal, and floating the Guadalupe are all still available.

SPACIOUS is the word that best describes this property. All of the rooms are big, cozy and comfortable. It also features an ADA approved elevator in front.

You will not find yourself feeling cramped at The Tree Top Haus! The home is situated on 2 lots which gives 110 feet of waterfront. It features a large front and back yards, oversized bedrooms, living room, and extremely spacious kitchen. Pots, pans, utensils and coffee maker are all provided. The 80 inch Flat Screen TV in the living room is HUGE! The Master Bedroom is spacious and accommodating with a double vanity bathroom. It even has its own private balcony overlooking beautiful Lake Dunlap on the Guadalupe River.

The home boasts three separate dining areas, Three separate decks for gathering. Since the old dock is high and dry we have provided a floating dock down in the rivers bed, which will give you access to the river. Two kayaks and a paddle board will enable you to explore the tranquil waters.

The area directly under the house provides multiple seating areas, gas grill, BBQ with firebox, dining, a ping pong table and cover parking. A burn pit and a chiminea for evening gatherings are also available. As well as a basketball hoop, So bring your best game.
