Spacious and cozy 2bed/1bath basement unit, with private entrance. The unit, recently renovated, has large living/dining space, wet-bar, laundry, and wifi. Located within a walking distance of shops, local favorite restaurants, coffee shops, and music bars. Walk or a short drive to central/southern Boulder trailheads (Shanahan Ridge, NCAR, Tablemesa, Chautauqua) and minutes away from Boulder bike paths. 5-minute bus ride to downtown Boulder. Come explore all that Boulder has to offer at your footsteps! Please note that this is a short-term rental. Min stay = 2 nights. Max stay = 29 nights.

This is the basement unit of a two story house. Recently renovated + central location. The unit has multiple bright and large window wells, providing plenty of natural light. The unit offers a large living + dining space. There is a dry-bar next to the dining table equipped with a mini-fridge, Nespresso and french press coffee makers, hot water kettle, dishes, cups, bowls, and utensils. There are two bedrooms and one full bathroom in the unit. The access to the bathroom is through one of the rooms. There is also a laundry room with washer and dryer inside the unit.

Please note that our house is a dog-friendly property and we accept pets in our unit. We have a very friendly Siberian Husky, named Milou. You might encounter her roaming around the backyard when you enter the property or when you enjoy the yard. She might come close to say hi and greet you. Please let us know if you are not comfortable and we will keep her in the house.

Nice stay

We had a nice stay. Everything was very clean and uncluttered. Close to CU Boulder and lots of trails nearby. Walkable to restaurants and stores. Would stay here again!

Lovely stay!

Nima was a wonderful host! We arrived to a welcome card and chocolates. Very quick response time with anything we needed and went above and beyond by giving us recommendations on things to do during our stay. We would stay again.

Excellent stay

We found the accommodations to be spacious, clean and comfortable for our group of 4. The host was responsive, friendly and welcoming. Many thoughtful touches which made it feel like home. Would highly recommend!

The place was amazing

Nima, Nikki and Milou were so incredibly hospitable and very accommodating . Attention to details was amazing. They made us feel very welcomed. It’s a place I highly recommend. Their welcoming committee was so adorable!

Overall horrible experience weren't allowed to speak after 9:30 ended up getting another house for the rest of our stay.

Hi Stephen, The issue wasn’t with speaking. The issue was with you guys screaming, and having a loud music at 2 am! Let me repeat: loud techno beat music at 2 in the morning and with bright, flashing, LED lights! All this happened while our house instructions clearly sets quiet hours as 11 pm to 7 am!

Great home base for the weekend! Seamless check in and out process. Spacious, clean and inviting unit in a good location with good wifi. The hosts are up front about the things the unit doesn’t have kitchen-wise and have some reasonable accommodations for those things. If I had to suggest anything it would be to try and add a few more power outlets in some areas.

The rental is in the basement. I wasn’t expecting that. Also 2 big dogs live there and my husband is allergic. The basement accommodation was very cold. We were not prepared for that. March in Colorado fluctuates weather wise. We didn’t bring enough cold weather clothing for inside. Basement was very light and airy. Very close to family we wanted to visit so that was good. Not good sound proofing between upstairs and basement. Just not what we were expecting. It was very clean and hosts answered messages immediately.

Hi Doug, and Juli, Let me start by thanking you for staying with us. We kept the unit temperature set at 72 degrees during your visit and had also provided you with a separate space heaters. As you mentioned, Colorado weather in March is very variable. I am sorry to hear that 72 degrees was not comfortable for you. On the dogs:I am not sure if our dogs would have anything to do with your allergies as they never enter the VRBO unit and they never interacted with you. As promised at your arrival, we kept both dogs inside our space and they never interfaced with you and your family. On the basement unit: this is cleanly mentioned in our VRBO posting description. Thanks again for your feedback

Kind and helpful owners

It was a great location with easy parking and a lovely basement apartment. The owners were acessible and kind. There is no sink except for the sink in the bedroom's bathroom, and no stove or cooking equipment, which I didnt notice in the description. Also, there is some dog fur, and I would discourage anyone who is allergic to dogs to stay there.

Convenient

Walking distance to grocery store and restaurants. Just a few minute drive to the U of C campus. Clean, a nice hot shower, and chocolate treats for us on arrival! The only negative is that it is a basement unit, so there is noise coming from above if you are a light sleeper or a napper.

Very clean and responsive.

Good location. Very responsive owner. Ask and they will address any concerns. VRBO has an error about pull out beds in living room. Note there is no kitchen, which is apparent if you look carefully at listing, but good food within walking distance. Lots of space, well cared for and again very nice and responsive owners. Milou is an awesome dog.

Nima, Nikki, and their gorgeous Siberian Husky Milou were great. The check-in was easy and the apartment was very nice. They were available any time I needed them. VRBO is asking about kitchen facilities so I'll mention say there is no kitchen, however there is a counter with a water cooler, coffee maker and tea bags as well as a microwave and small fridge. The apartment was very well stocked with anything you may need. The apartment is in a great location as well. There is no tv in the apartment, which is just fine with me but I thought I'd mention it. I would definitely stay again.

Close and Clean

Nima was a great communicator and a polite host. The unit is down stairs on the back side of the house. Very quite and very clean. I spent most of my day away so it was good for my needs. I didn’t have to cook. No TV in the space if that’s part of your nightly routine. They did however leave the sweetest handwritten welcome note and some local goodies. I would absolutely stay here again.

Nice neighborhood

The neighborhood is great. Walking distance to a grocery store & coffee shop. Near the foothills & hiking trails. The space is a basement. Nicely decorated. Light & bright. You can hear the owners clearly walk & talk in the house above. Also, while the dog is a cutie, the space smelled quite strong of ‘dog’. I recommend some air purifiers for each room. While there are windows— they are in window wells & covered so there is limited fresh air.

Hi Alexa, thanks you for writing us a review and we highly value your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you were unable to fully enjoy your stay due to a ‘fog’ smell. We strongly believe that this smell couldn’t be from our dog-friend. Our Vrbo unit is routinely deep cleaned after every guest and our dog is never allowed to enter the unit. We think that what you smelled was the heavy smoke in Boulder area from Canadian wild fires. We have, unfortunately, been dealing with this smell for the last couple weeks. We also rush you would have brought this to our attention during your stay as opposed to mentioning it after leaving. We could have provided you with an air purifier and could provide with additional cleaning during your visit. We, however, highly value your feedback and want to make sure that this issue is resolved our future guests. We now have a permanent air purifier in the unit.

Lovely Space with a few quirks

Our family of two adult couples enjoyed staying in the spacious apartment located in a lovely location and less expensive than some similar offerings. The hosts were lovely and responsive, despite their need to deal with a family emergency. We were surprised to find that the only bathroom is located inside one of the bedrooms, making it a bit awkward. We would have liked to know this before booking. Also, while the listing says there is a “wet bar” and kitchenette, there is no sink other than in the bathroom, so any washing for food preparation needs to be done there. As others have noted, one can hear the sounds from upstairs. Not excessive, but normal walking and talking definitely can be heard. Overall a nice experience but some quirks.

This suite was a great place to stay. It was very clean and open with a lot of natural light. The master could use some blackout curtains since the 5:30am sun is bright. The neighborhood was quiet and the location was great. There’s a washer/dryer available to use. No stove or kitchen sink, it is a kitchenette. We brought a griddle to make breakfast, grilled cheese, etc. There is a mini fridge that holds quite a bit of food. FYI. It is a basement suite so people do live above. You can hear some footsteps or a toilet flush. With that being said it was not bad. The owners do have a sweet dog and we never heard the dog bark once. The owners very pleasant and are willing to help with anything needed.
