Villa Espada Jávea – Heated 10×5 m Pool & Outdoor Kitche

Welcome to Villa Espada in Jávea – a private Mediterranean retreat with plenty of space, comfort and an exceptionally generous outdoor area.

Villa Espada accommodates up to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms and is ideal for families, couples travelling together or multi-generational holidays where everyone can enjoy both shared spaces and privacy.

The heart of the villa is its spacious outdoor area. The private pool measures approximately 10 × 5 metres and offers plenty of space for swimming, relaxing and enjoying the Mediterranean sun. Around the pool you will find several seating and lounging areas, an outdoor shower and a separate outdoor WC.

One of our favourite features is the large outdoor kitchen with covered dining area – perfect for long summer evenings, relaxed meals with family and friends, or preparing a traditional Spanish paella using the large paella pan and gas burner provided.

The villa has four bedrooms, one of which is located in a separate guest apartment, providing additional privacy for older children, friends or couples travelling together.

For your comfort, the villa is equipped with five air-conditioning units – one in each bedroom and another in the living room. Underfloor heating is also available for stays during the cooler months.

Additional facilities include a sauna, whirlpool and table tennis. The sauna and whirlpool are available seasonally and can be prepared for your stay on request. Please let us know before arrival if you would like to use them.

The pool can be heated on request and by prior arrangement.

The property is fully enclosed and accessed through an automatic sliding gate, offering a high level of privacy. Two cars can be parked securely within the grounds.

The villa is also well equipped for modern living, with high-speed fibre-optic Wi-Fi, two Smart TVs with access to popular streaming services, a washing machine, and dishwashers in both the indoor and outdoor kitchens.

Jávea’s popular Arenal Beach, with its promenade, restaurants, cafés and bars, is just a few minutes away by car. Supermarkets and other shopping facilities are also within easy reach.

We regularly spend time at Villa Espada ourselves. For us, it is not simply a holiday rental, but our own home in Spain, which we continuously maintain and improve.

We are especially pleased by the many excellent reviews from our guests. The large pool, outdoor kitchen, spacious grounds, privacy and personal service are mentioned particularly often. Several guests have even told us that the villa is even more beautiful in person than in the photos.

We are personally available before and during your stay, and we also work with reliable local partners who can assist whenever necessary.

We loved our stay at Villa Espada. Beautiful villa in a location that was easily accessible to Javea and Arenal beach.We were a family of 4 adults and 2 children and had a car which made everything accessible.The outside kitchen was really nice for the warm nights so we made the most of the April sunshine.Thanks. We will definitely be back.

The villa is beautiful, it combines everything you would want and feels like a home from home. Everything is comfortable and with two kitchens and all the bits and pieces that go with them we were able to enjoy meals and bbqs at the villa. The pool is a great size and was just the right temperature to be refreshing in 30 degree heat but not freezing. The property manager met us on arrival and explained everything and we also had contact from the owner to check we had everything we needed, this made us feel looked after. The location of the villa is excellent in terms of proximity to supermarkets (5 min drive if that) and access is easy to the old town centre as well as the beach front (c.12-15mins). We had a fab family holiday here. Recommend sitting on the patio in the early (ish) morning sun with a coffee, taking in the view and listening to the birds.

We had a really lovely stay here and were very impressed overall. The villa was even better than the photos, with a brilliant outdoor space, a great pool and lovely views that made it feel like a proper holiday from the moment we arrived. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.The outdoor kitchen was a real bonus and made it easy to spend most of our time outside, which was great in the warm weather. The only thing to note is that the jacuzzi wasn’t on during summer, but honestly that didn’t take anything away from the stay for us. The pool and outside area more than made up for it.The annex was especially useful and worked really well for the teenagers in our group. It gave them a bit of their own space, which made a big difference and meant everyone had room to spread out and relax. That really suited us as a family and made the whole stay feel more comfortable.Communication was easy throughout and everything went smoothly from start to finish. Overall, we had a great time and would happily stay again. It’s a lovely place for a family holiday or a group trip, and we’d definitely recommend it.

Wonderful villa

Wonderful stay at Villa Espada

Great villa with beautiful gardens and exceptional outside facilities which included an outside kitchen and hot water shower. The Property owner and manager were both excellent. They responded immediately to any requests or problems we had, which was wonderful during our stay. The villa was beautiful, with everything provided to make our stay comfortable and convenient. We would certainly stay here again and would definitely recommend.

Family fun in Javea

The property was excellent and even better than the pictures provided.The outside area was the stand out point with various areas to relax or sunbathe. The pool being the highlight which is a great size (could do with being colder).The only minor comment would be that the separate apartment area needs a little more furniture make it feel even more comfortable so perhaps another sofa or rattan furniture set to sit.

What a lovely villa we stayed in has a lovely pool and jacuzzi the villa grounds are well looked after the owner Rainer was a very good host if i had a problem all you have to do is text and he will try and sort the problem we are hoping to stay again next year

We had the best time

We had the best time, amazing location, really easy to get to the beach and local shops around a 5 min drive. The outdoor kitchen was amazing, I was able to cook and still watch the kids in the pool. The bedroom layout was fab, we were all close and the children felt safe. The communication with the owner was brilliant, very informative, and touched base throughout our stay. It was a great Villa for our family.

Didn’t want to leave!

We have just spent a month there and loved so much about this villa and the area. Just a short drive or 40 minute walk to Arenal beach which is just humming with great selection of restaurants, bars and a beautiful beach which is perfect for the children. The villa has everything you want for your stay and the outside space is wonderful. We loved the heated pool, hot tub and the outdoor kitchen and bathroom. We had such a great time, can’t wait to return.

Top Location, beautiful Villa

We where very happy with everything. Nice host, beautiful house with pool, Jacuzzi, TableTennis, 3 Kitchen, 4 Bedrooms and a nice get together area. You can always reach somebody when you need help. You can park your car on the property and it’s very private. We would go again in a heartbeat. Top 👍

Well Needed Break

Picked this property as it was all on one level. My husband has Parkinson’s and we also had our 1 yr old grandson with us. The villa suited all our needs perfectly, my daughter , son in law and baby stayed in the separate “apartment “ and was great for them. The grounds are beautiful and the outside kitchen is so well equipped that you don’t need to use inside. We love Javea and this villa was the best we have stayed in. We will definitely stay here again! 😊

Amazing Large Villa

The outdoor space was fantastic. Unfortunately no water in the jacuzzi and the ping pong table couldn’t be used due to being located in a very hot garage. The stunning sea view would have been years ago when trees were not matured. You are paying for the outdoor space. Not walking distance from the local beaches.

Fantastic Villa & Wonderful owner

Absolutely fantastic Villa, very well equipped. Pool heating was wonderful. Outdoor kitchen, toilet and shower are brilliant (as other guests have said we hardly used the showers indoors) Comfortable beds, sofas & outdoor seating. Good location with supermarkets just a few minutes drive and only 5 minutes drive down to the beautiful bars and restaurants of Arenal. Javea port and old town 10 mins. Have had a number of beautiful Villas in Javea in the past and this is without doubt the best of them all. Rainer was the perfect host, communication was great and you can really see the thought and investment that has gone into the Villa. Very sad to leave as really felt at home but we will definitely be back. Thank you Rainer

Could not wish for anything better

We had an amazing 2 weeks at Villa Espada. The Villa is a great space to relax. The pool is a great size and having it to dip into during the day was welcome. There is ample seating area and it is possible to find shade ant time of the day. There is a really helpful kitchen outside which is where we spent most of our food prep time (and a bbq) All bedrooms are a good size and have air conditioning. Communication with Rainer, the host was good and although I never met him in person it didn’t feel like he was far away should the need arise. The Villa is located just a short drive from supermarkets, restaurants and beaches. Further afield we visited Aqualandia (water park fun) in Benidorm and also we took a day trip to València which is just over an hours drive. Would totally recommend staying!

We spent two weeks in this fantastic house and are extremely pleased with both the location and the facilities that were offered, e.g. pool, jacuzzi, table tennis, etc. In the large pool we spent many lovely hours, the adjacent outdoor kitchen was perfect for both breakfast and dinner or just to be able to go straight up from the pool and get something cooling to drink from the fridge. Everything was perfect and felt well thought out. The area is very quiet, we hardly saw or heard neighbors or passing cars. We had a rental car and always took it on the way down to Arenal beach or further into Javea. Of course it would have been possible to go to the beach, probably about 20 minutes, but as the roads are quite narrow without sidewalks before you reach the "centre", it didn't feel interesting. Our host Rainer was always available if we had questions, as was Georgiana who received us on the day of arrival, very helpful. In summary: A great villa we would be happy to rent again, 10/10!

Amazing villa

We had a fantastic time at this wonderful villa, fully accessible throughout, including shallow steps and a handrail into the pool - which is very hard to find. Everywhere was easy to access so we had one very happy disabled customer. It's a very quiet location, hardly any noise or passing traffic. It's a 20 minute downhill walk into the Arenal area where you will find shops, restaurants and bars aplenty; definitely a taxi back though, these hills are steep! I had planned on hiring a mobility scooter but the location is not suitable for that, the roads are single track and very narrow with no pavements until you get into town so it would have been dangerous to try; the hills were too steep for my wheelchair so I was stuck with taxis which were quite expensive. However the taxi company we used was reliable, friendly and accessible so we were happy to use them. I wouldn't market this as 'car not required', it would have been useful to have a car and would have been cheaper than the multiple taxis we used. But that doesn't take away from the fact that this is an amazing villa and the owner couldn't have been more helpful from day one right through to the end of our holiday. Would I go back? Probably not, but that's mainly because of the location and my particular circumstances of being disabled, the property was first class and I would highly recommend it.

Villa Espada - Perfect family holiday

Just returned from a wonderful week spent at Villa Espada with 5 other family members and could not have asked for more. Just wish I had booked it for longer. When I first found this Villa on the website both myself and my daughter fell in love with it. The pictures don't actually do it full justice as it is more impressive in real life. The view was stunning and the privacy you have is superb. The outdoor kitchen, shower and toilet were fantastic, with a high quality finish and the perfect addition to the villa. Majority of our time was spent outside making use of such wonderful facilities. All the rooms were great sizes with more than enough space for all. The beds in every room had quality mattresses and I can honestly say the most comfortable I have slept on any holiday. Thank you Rainer....this made such a difference. Communication with the owner Rainer was great, with information and updates supplied without any prompting with well wishes received both on arrival and departure. Fantastic location with supermarket 3 mins away and El Arenal beach/town a very short 5 min drive. Javea old town was approx 10 min drive with its quaint streets and houses. Comes alive of an evening with the busy restaurants that line the streets around the centre. Found a lovely little cocktail bar "Aya Huma" that serves amazing cocktails. Would definitely return to this Villa in the future without a doubt. Thanks again Rainer.....Perfect!!!!!

Die angepriesene Villa mit beheizbarem Pool, Sauna und Jacuzzi entpuppte sich als in die Jahre gekommenes Haus, was durchaus Potenzial hat, welches aber offensichtlich nicht genutzt wird.Haus ist in einem teilweise renovierungsbedürftigen Zustand. Innenküche nur sehr dürftig ausgestattet, Backofen/Spüle verschmutzt, Abzug des Kochbereichs war defekt/verklebt.Schranktür fehlte.Aus d. Steckdose im Bereich d. Arbeitsplatte kamen (obwohl keine Lebensmittel gelagert wurden) Ameisen, die es unmöglich machten dort etwas zuzubereiten. Schlafräume waren ebenfalls in die Jahre gekommen. Ein Schlafzimmer hatte offensichtlich neue Matratzen, die restlichen waren sehr dünn und verschmutzt.Klimaanlagen waren verschimmelt und müssten dringend! gereinigt werden.Das Apartment am Haus ist durch die Garage erreichbar. Dort wo sich auf den alten Bildern eine kleine Küche befand, steht eine Sauna, die für uns nicht nutzbar war, weil die Tür defekt war. Diese sollte nach den Sommerferien repariert werden.Es ist fraglich, warum diese nicht bereits repariert wurde, da der Eigentümer 3 Wochen vor Ort war und an unserem Anreisetag abreiste. Apartment lieblos, keine Vorhänge, im Türrahmen zur Terrasse befand sich loses Dichtmaterial und ein skelletiertes Tier.Whirpool leer, verdreckt und stinkig.Wohl nur nutzbar auf Anfrage!Pool verlor täglich mehrere Liter Wasser!Vermieter vermutete hinter unserer Mängelmitteilung eine Masche. Nicht empfehlenswert

Vielen Dank für Ihre ausführliche Bewertung. Sie steht in einem bemerkenswerten Gegensatz zu den rund 60 sehr positiven Bewertungen, die unsere Villa in den vergangenen Jahren erhalten hat. Einige Ihrer Kritikpunkte können wir nachvollziehen und nehmen diese selbstverständlich zum Anlass, Dinge zu überprüfen und gegebenenfalls zu verbessern. Andere Darstellungen möchten wir jedoch nicht unkommentiert stehen lassen. Insbesondere die Aussage, unsere Klimaanlagen seien „verschimmelt“, entspricht nach unserer Überprüfung nicht den Tatsachen. Die Geräte werden regelmäßig gewartet und gereinigt. Die sichtbaren Ablagerungen waren Staub bzw. Verschmutzungen und kein Schimmel. Auch möchten wir den zeitlichen Zusammenhang Ihrer Bewertung nicht unerwähnt lassen: Vor Ihrer Abreise baten Sie uns um eine erhebliche Preisreduzierung und kündigten für den Fall, dass wir dieser Forderung nicht nachkommen, eine entsprechend negative Bewertung an. Eine solche Vorgehensweise halten wir für bedauerlich. Bemerkenswert war für uns außerdem die Rückmeldung unseres Personals vor Ort. Sowohl Mitarbeiter aus der Garten- und Poolpflege als auch weitere Personen, die seit vielen Jahren zuverlässig für uns tätig sind und regelmäßig Kontakt mit unseren Gästen haben, empfanden den Umgangston während Ihres Aufenthalts als ungewöhnlich unfreundlich. Einige waren nach Ihrer Abreise ehrlich gesagt erleichtert. Selbstverständlich ist unsere Villa kein Neubau. Sie ist ein gewachsenes mediterranes Ferienhaus, das wir kontinuierlich pflegen, instand halten und verbessern. Dass dabei gelegentlich kleinere Mängel auftreten können, möchten wir gar nicht bestreiten. Die von Ihnen vermittelte Gesamtdarstellung können wir jedoch nicht nachvollziehen. Glücklicherweise müssen zukünftige Gäste weder allein unserer Darstellung noch Ihrer folgen. Rund 60 sehr positive Bewertungen vermitteln ein recht umfangreiches Bild davon, wie andere Urlauber unsere Villa und unseren Service erlebt haben.
