It was great for attending the Daytona 500. Loved the management showed up when required.

Beautiful location right on the beach. Beach was not crowed at all!We stayed for a week. We had no problems. Host was easy to contact for ideas around the area and any needs that came up. We had 7 people and the rooms were very accommodating. Yes the house is older has some wear and tear but it was perfect for us. About a 5 min drive to pickle ball courts and playground. 10 min drive to boardwalk and all those activities. If we come to this area again we will definitely be rebooking!!

We had a great time. The one real issue is the difficulty we experienced accessing the beach. The walkway from the house only goes to the rocks above the beach. The younger kids had trouble navigating the rocks from the walkway to the sand. My husband, who is legally blind, fell on the rocks twice. In addition, we could not get the grill lighted nor the fire pit on the deck. There were adequate beds and bathrooms and plenty of towels and toilet paper etc.

Great place to enjoy family and the ocean

The house was very clean and well stock. The large deck with numerous chairs over looking the ocean was a great place to enjoy family and the sun rise. The host team was great to work with and very responsive to any issues. We enjoyed our stay.

the host, she was amazing. absolutely 10/10, an extremely nice woman!! the house… i would definitely love to give this place 5 stars but it needs some love… my wife is absolutely floored by the fact we kept finding 2 inch long cockroaches in our bathroom and in the main bedroom.. and when you have to fight roaches when you’re naked and afraid, it isn’t fun. or when you open the drawer of your dresser wanting to put your clothes in.. then, the light fixtures on the back of the house are falling down, and the hall lighting to the back bedroom won’t stay on.. finally the cooling.. the house stayed between 81 and 79 during the day, there’s a huge vent in the living room area that we ended up covering with cardboard and a chair to block the heat from coming thru it and that helped the house stayed between at like 77 and finally towards 11pm it would go down to 74 which what it was set on; all 3 days we tried to stay out of the house bc it was cooler outside with the breeze than inside. it just needs some tlc and updating. again, i loved the host. she was amazing, but i was feeling a bit, let down with the house , especially trying to explain to my friends staying with me that i didn’t know all of these things from how the house was listed. kinda bummed that i looked like i booked a ran down house for all of my friends for the week.. again, Krista, SUPER NICE and great to deal with, but i think Salty Dogs just needs to spend a few days upgrading this place..

So it started out bumpy to say the least. The original home we booked for a small family wedding ended up not having beach access due to king tide washing the deck away. The “ salty dog” team stepped up and switched us to another location and went above and beyond to make things right for my daughter’s special day. Had a beautiful stay after all.

family vacation

The beach house was very cozy and comfortable. Loved the close access to the beach. Plenty of towels provided and the washer and dryer was a plus too. Everyone had a great time. I would definitely stay there again with my family. The only improvement I could suggest was to provide a griddle or big electric skillet to cook breakfast for a large family and a few more cutting utensil would be nice too ( for cutting fruits and vegetables) Many special memories were made.

Not well maintained in and out. Beach access is excellent. Would consider this place again if it was cleaned up and taken care of. Could be so much more.

Great Place

We had a good size group of friends staying at the place and it fit us all easily and comfortably. The house is right on the beach but the walkway had been washed out from the hurricane. They were working on construction while we were there so it should be done soon. There is plenty to do around the house with either a quick ride or a long walk.The salty dog company was super kind and quick to respond with any help that we needed.

Ocean front home Daytona Beach, FL

Wonderful location, private beach area, sand and beach were perfect as well as the ocean. Walk right out to the ocean. Home was very comfortable with 4 bedrooms each with multiple beds and bathrooms. Properties managers were exception and super quick to respond. Salty Dog managers.

We recently stayed at this rental property through and while there were certainly positives, we felt it was important to share some honest feedback about our experience.First, the good: They were very responsive. We had a small issue with the tv and they sent someone over to try to fix immediately. The home itself was very spacious and well-stocked with thoughtful extras that made our stay more comfortable. There were plenty of bath and beach towels, pillows, and cleaning materials. The kitchen was impressively equipped with a wide variety of cooking utensils, pans, and small appliances, which made preparing meals easy. The bathrooms were also very clean, which we appreciated. The home had lots of beach toys and supplies, which was a nice touch for families However, we were also disappointed by a few things that made this trip harder than it needed to be. One of the main reasons we chose this home was its advertised direct beach access, as we were planning this trip for my mother, who has health issues and dementia. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we were shocked to find that the steps down to the beach were incomplete and likely not ADA compliant. I had even inquired about the steps beforehand but never received a response, which was disheartening. We ended up having to rent a golf cart at an additional 550 just to get her safely to and from the beach — an unexpected expense that we had not budgeted for.Additionally, the outside of the home had a very strong, unpleasant

from the time i booked until i left i communicated with the owner and was always very quick with any questions or concerns ! The house was large which was great for our family of 12! The property could use some updating for sure but overall was great ! The one thing i wasn’t happy with was the drop off the deck to get to the beach it was tough with 2 5 year olds a husband with 2 knee replacements and balance issues he really only went down to the beach twice which was disappointing ! Also i have a specialneeds grandaughter with a trach and a vent and was impossible to take her down without driving down ! I suggest extending the deck down to the beach because even for me i thought it was a little tricky getting down to the beach while carrying stuff down . another awesome thing was the abundance of bath towels wash cloths and tons of beach towels which was awesome i didn’t have to constantly wash ! with the exception of those few things we were happy with our stay !

This is a fabulous place to stay, we had adults and kids from 1-16 and everyone enjoyed this house. I would recommend this time everyone. The host Krista was very accommodating and they have chairs, boards, and sand toys for the beach. Every morning was beautiful and I even saw a turtle laying it's eggs. Thank you Krista for a fantastic time
