This classic Cape Cod cottage rests on a hilltop along the shore of Megansette Harbor with a stunning harbor and sunset view. The public beach is within walking distance as is the shining sea bike path with multiple bike shops along the way for renting bicycles and other equipment. Additionally, fantastic coffee shops and top-rated restaurants are all within walking distance as well. This house is a nod to nautical days gone by with a view that can't be beat.

The property matched the listing - it was clean, cozy, had character and beautiful views. I was fortunate enough to cross paths with one of the owners who shared their long family history at this location. There are multiple outdoor porch areas to enjoy and plenty of space indoors to relax as well. The beds were incredibly comfortable! The hosts were very responsive. It was a quick drive to downtown Falmouth for restaurants and shopping, and just under 20 min in an Uber to Woods Hole for the Vineyard ferry. Everything felt easy and convenient. We would love to stay her again!

Host and her mother live on the property and were very friendly and easy to communicate with. Location is max 10 min walk to a nice beach. The house is definitely old - which was charming but also meant some unusual set-ups: the bedroom with a twin and day bed has direct access to the kitchen downstairs and has to walk through the other twin room to access the upstairs bathroom; the upstairs bathroom only has a tub, no shower (there is a shower in the downstairs bathroom off the kitchen); the stairs were pretty steep and a few spindles were loose. We enjoyed the stay and it worked for two families with a total of 3 kids, but probably wouldn’t have been ideal for older people.

Overall, the house is okay! The view from the deck is great and was nice for my mom who was no always up to going to the beach. But the chairs are tired, and need replacing or rework. And it was a little awkward because the deck overlooks the owners deck which is very close.Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of nice towels. There were plenty of dishes and pots and pans.The kitchen is very separate from the rest of the house and got pretty warm (with no screen door on the outside door, it could not be opened for a breeze).The listing is incorrect in that there is no shower in the upstairs bathroom, only a clawfoot tub. The one shower in the downstairs bathroom is a very small shower stall. Having a washer and dryer available was a plus.Livingroom does not have enough seating for a house that sleeps 9 people. The futon is fine, but the loveseat is worn and very low-tough to get out of. The dining room chairs are oversized and the rattan seats are not comfortable with shorts on. The room with the single twin bed is a pass through room to the room with the 2 twin beds-no privacy- and the light from the bathroom shines into that "room". None of the doors seem to fully close. The house needs some updating and some work. The electrical is a little quirky, some outlet covers were missing, breaker tripped several times when operating the microwave. Outlets are very limited for charging devices.It was fine, we had a fun week, but we will not be back.

Our stay with 7 adults at the Cape Cod Cottage was excellent! The cottage was spotless and well appointed. It certainly filled our needs as we attended a family reunion at another location nearby.Certainly we would consider returning in the future if the need arose.

Wonderful Bachelorette Weekend

We stayed at this house for my bachelorette weekend and it was great. The best part was the view from the porch. The living area downstairs was more spacious than I expected, and there was plenty of space to sit and eat in the dining room area. The hosts were very warm and welcoming. We enjoyed the beaches nearby. Overall, a house with a lot of charm that can fit a large group in a great area of the Cape!

We had a great weekend in this beautiful home! My family and I were in town for a cousin’s wedding and unfortunately weren’t able to explore the area as much as we would’ve liked, but the hosts offered tons of options and were super responsive. The house has a lot of charm and we loved waking up and drinking our coffee on one of the porches! Thank you, again!

This is a great property with friendly owners!

We had a wonderful time staying at this property! The owner, Lillian, was super helpful with everything and had amazing response time! The only thing is there is one small shower, so if you have a big group, it may take some planning to have everyone shower, but it wasn't a problem for us!

Perfect cape cod getaway

Nothing but great things to say about this property . It was the perfect location for our girls weekends/bachelorette weekend. The home is spacious and stacked with towels and beach chairs to use at the beach that is walking distance away. Both the host and her mother were fabulous, as well. I would absolutely stay here again.

Nightly sunsets…wow!

This “cottage” is fantastic. It has so much character and was such a wonderful place to stay with our family. The sunset every night was so beautiful from the deck. Lillian is a wonderful host and, gave us so many tips on where to visit during our stay. Can’t wait to visit again!

Lovely older Cape home with fantastic location

Great location, great owner easy to reach, well stocked with fantastic wrap around porch with sea view. It is an house with quirks but very responsive owner. We loved the character of the home and would happily stay there again.

College Reunion Weekend Stay

My friends and I plan one weekend a summer where we get to see each other and spend some time in the sun. The host, Lillian, was one of the most kind and welcoming hosts i’ve ever had! We had a wonderful time at the beautifully located property, from walking to the beach to grilling in the yard, it was one of the best weekends ever. Thank you Lillian!

Beautiful Ocean Sunsets

The view from the wrap around porch is amazing. What a relaxing place to sit and enjoy being on Cape Cod each morning and evening. This was a great house for our weekend getaway. It’s close to beaches and the bike path, with a short drive to downtown Falmouth. We will definitely be back!

Short visit for Falmouth Road Race

Lillian's home is a perfect spot in North Falmouth- easy to get everywhere and away from most of the annoyances of the Cape. Great old house- everything works but it is a bit rustic. There's only one shower, but that's the only drawback. Great neighborhood, too. And Lillian is a big help and has a wealth of local knowledge if you need it.

Perfect weekend at the Cape!

We stayed at the cottage for a girls weekend and it was lovely. The house is so charming, and everyone had a great time. We especially enjoyed sitting on the porch with our coffee in the mornings and watching the boats go by. The host was especially helpful, and her mom was very sweet and brought over a book of walking trails in the area for us to explore. There were 7 of us in the group and there was plenty of room for everyone. Highly recommend staing in this cottage!

Magical house

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lillian and Rosan's beautiful home. The house feels like something out of a movie, with a charming blend of historical character and modern renovations.The upstairs bathroom is perfect for little kids, while the downstairs shower may require a shower cap if you want to keep your hair dry. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the view from the porch is spectacular—a perfect spot to relax and watch the sunset.There's a calm beach just an eight-minute walk away, which was ideal for our family.Rosan and Lilian, the hosts, were warm, welcoming, and very knowledgeable.
