Great location. About 20 minutes from west entrance of Yellowstone. Loved being by the lake - my husband caught multiple trout out the back door. Cute dive bar with occasional live music next door. Well furnished. Game room was nice bonus. Was hot at night (no AC), could use a couple fans.

Beautiful cabin

The cabin was a perfect get-away. The beds were cozy and the game room was a plus as well as the hot tub. The kitchen worked perfectly for meals in. Waking up to a water view was spectacular. Highly recommend.

Family Trip to Yellowstone

Our family had a great time after spending the days touring Yellowstone. It was a great place off the beaten path where we could all relax and enjoy the scenery.

Lake View

This is the second time I have stayed at this location and would highly recommend anyone looking for great views, good snow, and a peaceful retreat.

Love Hebgen Lake

We absolutely loved our stay. The only suggestion we would have, would be to add/update the patio furniture so you could relax outside.

More than expected

Absolutely beautiful property! If you want to get away but still have all the luxury you are used to this cabin is the perfect place just 15 minutes from West Yellowstone. We had 6 guests and there was more than enough room for all of us.

A++ for Kings Cabin

Kings Cabin was perfect for five adult women. Beds were so comfy, home was immaculately clean and had everything we could possibly need for our week stay and our excursions. Beautiful mountain and lake view right out the window and decks. Large gathering space for game night. Hot tub was sparkling and location was ideal for visiting Yellowstone National Park, shops and restaurants of West Yellowstone, local hikes, and wildlife discoveries right down the road. So convenient but far enough away to feel you're out in the serene mountainside. Couldn't be happier with our stay. Highly recommend.

Wow!

This amazing cabin made our vacation so much easier and more enjoyable. We loved how close it was to Yellowstone and that we all had space to comfortably sleep. It was clean and well kept - stocked with everything we needed! We were able to cook great meals after long days in the park and relax at night in the hot tub with beautiful views after the kids were asleep. Highly recommend. We'll be back!

Thank you for the great service and nice stay. Kings Cabin was perfect for our family and the extra touches like the welcome treats and stocked toiletries were appreciated. Just one item to look at before the next guest: Barbecue was not usable and needs repair/replacement? Thanks again, we will be a return guest!!!

Wonderful!

A spontaneous autumn family trip to Yellowstone made me wonder if I could pull it off in such a short timeframe. Done and done. This lakeside rental made me the family hero. So glad we came!

Great location to explore Yellowstone

was a great place to stay for me and my family. We all enjoyed exploring Yellowstone national park. Teenage sons liked the foosball table and pool table. Wife enjoyed the beautiful views from two balconies. I enjoyed the readily available fishing from this location. House was great with well stocked kitchen. Multiple bathrooms so no one had to wait. TV was simple and easy to navigate. Great stay and fantastic views.

Great spot away from crowds but close to park/town

This was a fantastic stay for us. Great amenities at the cabin. Very clean - everything worked and was as advertised. We fished hebgen and rented boats just down the street by the hour - very convenient, you are only 10 or so from west Yellowstone. There were lots of cooking spices and oils etc fresh condiments in the fridge from previous guests - seems small but it’s a nice money saver - we rounded out a few items and refreshed some others but super convenient if you are doing a lot of your own cooking. Everything was better than the pictures, views - openness and size of bedrooms etc. more room than we anticipated.

Magical Cabin Getaway in the Mountains

Our stay at this charming little cabin in the Montana mountains was absolutely magical! The cabin was the perfect blend of rustic charm and cozy comfort. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The decor was thoughtfully done, with warm wooden accents and large windows that framed the stunning mountain views on a lake. The location was ideal for a peaceful getaway—secluded enough to feel like a private retreat but close enough to local spots for day trips (Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton) along with a small restaurant within walking distance. The cabin had everything we needed—comfy beds, a well-equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, and even little touches like puzzles and board games for cozy nights inside. If you’re looking for a relaxing escape surrounded by nature, this cabin is a hidden gem. We can’t wait to come back and experience it all over again!

Great Stay!

Kings Cabin was a fantastic home for our family winter vacation. It is close to everything (West Yellowstone, Big Sky, etc.). We were able to explore Yellowstone, ski Big Sky, ice fish, and snowmobile. The house was extremely comfortable. We made good use of the pool table, foosball table, and hot tub. We had one issue with the water heater, and the staff at Sweet Home Montana responded immediately. They had a technician out quickly to replace a bad element in the water heater. Problem solved! I would recommend Kings Cabin and Sweet Home Montana to anyone looking to enjoy all that West Yellowstone/Hebgen Lake area has to offer.

Million Dollar View needs a remodel

Incredible view, good location. Cabin needs to be updated. Kitchen needs new appliances and cookware. Bedrooms do not have televisions. Carpeting needs to be replaced. Pool table is too big for the room. Cues need to be replaced.

Beautiful lake house

Wow! My family of 7 all loved this log cabin lake house. It has gorgeous views of Lake Hebgen with the mountains behind and it is a convenient 20 min drive to the west entrance of Yellowstone. There was plenty of room to spread out and 4 bathrooms made things easy. We didn't swim in the lake because it was chilly the week we were there, but I imagine it would be nice at a warmer time of year. The kitchen is really spacious and well-stocked which made cooking easy. Management was really responsive when I had a couple of questions. My parents also visited the Earthquake Lake Visitor Center down the road and they said that they thought it was quite moving and well done. Highly recommend!

Close Access to WYS but still Private

My family of four (son 9, daughter 8) as well as my father-in-law and brother-in-law quite enjoyed our stay. The cabin is nicely appointed with beautiful lake & mtn views. It’s about 10 mins from town and the WYS entrance. We needed a few things during our stay and management was not only quick to respond but deliver. There is no a/c or tvs in the bedrooms, possibly due to limited internet services in the remote area, but it was kind of nice. We always had cell service. We felt it gave us a bit more of a real cabin experience to unplug from reality. We enjoyed the hot tub every evening after our long days of driving & walking to see the park. My BIL enjoyed the downstairs. He slept on the couch but doesn’t mind doing so. My FIL had the main floor BR while our family of four took the upstairs. Everyone had their own space and was quite comfortable. The men in my family are avid fly fishermen and were in heaven with access to so much great locations to fish. My son caught his first trout, a beautiful 15” rainbow, not far from the house. We saw bald eagles and a pelican from the house. The kitchen was well stocked as we cooked every morning and evening. My only critique in the kitchen is that you have to rinse the dishes well before loading into the dishwasher or they do not come all the way clean. There were a few maintenance issues that I reported upon departure that I’m confident will be addressed based on their efficiency during our stay. I would stay here again. Great trip!

Our family of 5 adults loved our stay at the cabin! We spent 4 nights here in June 2026 on a visit to Yellowstone. The cabin is an easy drive to the West Yellowstone entrance. We left every day around 6am and made it to the park by 6:30am, avoiding any traffic at the entrance. The location on the lake is amazing! Beautiful views out every window. When we walked in the front door, you could look down the hall and see straight through to the lake - it was quite the sight! The cabin was exactly as described and as viewed in the pictures, with one exception - the beds were even more fabulous than they appeared! I stayed in the primary upstairs, and it felt better than a Westin Heavenly bed. The cabin was clean and well decorated. It had everything we needed, including ice trays to help us fill our water bottles for the park everyday. There was some leftover bear spray in the cabinet, although we had brought our own. The guys enjoyed fishing. No one ended up using the hot tub, but it was nice to know we had that option.Check-in was easy and it was nice having a door code instead of key. My first time using a VRBO and it was such a pleasant experience! Highly recommend this place. Would love to come back some day.

Perfect location !Tis a beautiful cabin Place needs some maintenance work, just updating existing materials in house, . Kyle with Montana Maintenance was prompt n effective with some of our needs day one. Others items needs to pass by owner. Needs better balance in cost to value.
