Welcome to Monticola Lodge! From the Latin "monticola" (mountain dweller), where mountain getaway meets luxury and comfort. Established in Winter 2022! Spacious and exclusive! This new beautiful property is conveniently located on the Continental Divide among 3.5 acres of pinery bordering the Gallatin National Forest, and a short ten-minute drive to Yellowstone National Park. A dream getaway destination for all seasons, offering easy access to miles of snowmobile trails for the winter adventure seeker, and ATV trails for your summer escapade. Come and experience the tranquility, luxury, and comfort that Monticola Lodge has to offer while discovering the wonders of Yellowstone and the surrounding area.

The property offers 5,000 square-feet of tastefully decorated living space featuring top of the line amenities and plush furnishings designed for your comfort and enjoyment. The lodge boasts sweeping 14' walls and massive 26" beams throughout. A large see-through fireplace complements the spacious living room and dining room area. The dining room features a 12' custom made epoxy river table to accommodate seating for your entire party. Similarly, the living room offers ample elegant and comfortable seating, including a conversation seating area and small board game table, perfect for entertaining and gathering around. The main floor also features a premium gourmet kitchen with granite countertops and huge center island. The kitchen is fully equipped with brand name appliances (dual refrigerators, dual ovens, trash compactor), and a wide variety of condiments and spices to inspire the chef in you!

The two living floors offer functionality, comfort, and privacy for everyone. The lower floor features a family/TV room with fireplace, foosball and air hockey tables. The cabin sleeps up to fourteen, with four master bedroom suites exclusively designed for privacy and outfitted with comfortable beds and high quality linens for your night time comfort. The four bedroom suites offer king size beds, complete with a private ensuite bathroom. The fifth bedroom offers the perfect sleep-over experience with three queen beds. Each master bathroom offers a tiled walk-in shower. The fifth bathroom has a full shower/tub combination to accommodate the little-ones. Additional features include a comfortable front covered patio with BBQ grill, outdoor dining table, and firepit. A beautiful redwood deck featuring a large jacuzzi tub for soaking up after a busy day of adventures.

Explore the beauty and magic of Yellowstone National Park by planning your own adventure, or by choosing a guided tour of the park. There is plenty to do in the area, including world-class fly fishing, hiking, horseback riding, white water rafting, kayaking, boating, water skiing, shopping, dining, theater, and sightseeing, among other things.

The town of West Yellowstone offers fun for the whole family including Yellowstone Historic Center, antique shops, the Grizzly Discovery Center, the IMAX Theater featuring daily showings. For your Wild West experience, the Yellowstone Rodeo (less than a mile from the cabin) is open for Rodeo night almost daily during the summer months. Also available during the summer are the Museum of the Yellowstone and the famous Playmill Theatre offering fun-filled recreation for kids as well as adults.

If winter is your season, the area offers some of the best snowmobiling in the West! The roads to the cabin are plowed during the winter months, offering easy access for the snowmobile enthusiast. The Lion Head Trail is located just down the driveway. Other winter activities include cross country skiing, snowshoeing, dog sledding and ice fishing, all of which are available close by.

Absolutely the best stay! A ton of space for everyone in our group - five adults and two kids. Loved having the large table for everyone to sit and eat, and the hot tub was a big hit! The home was well stocked with everything we needed and the location was perfect for visiting Yellowstone daily, and then being able to come back at the end of the day for a relaxing evening.

I love this cabin style, the huge glass looks pretty nice with wood style. And the stove is pretty, will be excellent if we have microwave lol. And we saw deer!

Overall impression was excellent, great kitchen and bedrooms as shown in pictures. We were there in July and the exterior grounds would have benefitted from weed trimming. Saw a deer next to the kitchen windows one morning. Be prepared to drive up a hill to lodge.

The house is amazing! It has pretty much everything you need. Cooking utensils and pots/pans were great. Rand was great when I contacted him with a question. Definitely recommend staying here or one of his other properties.

I see why you named your company WOW. The two lodges (Monticalo and Cozy Bear) we rented were both WOW excellent and fit our family of 21 perfectly. Enough room to spread out, yet large spaces for togetherness, especially at mealtimes and group cooking! Great amenities and linens and towels of high quality. Clean and well stocked. And the location was excellent for everything we wanted to do. A big high was the kayak trip down the Henry's fork of Snake River that you offered -- it was a beautifully serene day of floating and seeing wildlife! Thank you for your immediate responsiveness to all our questions. I hope we can return next summer!

We absolutely loved Monticola Lodge, and highly recommend it! The bedroom suites with luxurious bathrooms were all wonderful! All of the special furnishings and artwork throughout the entire lodge, made us feel at home, happy, and at peace throughout our stay. We all fell in love with the dining room table, fireplace, and antler chandelier! We made special family memories, and after a long day of riding a Harley through the park, we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub! Thanks to our sweet mom and dad, that work so hard to keep us unified as a family, and building these amazing and lasting memories! Thank you Rand and Sonia, for all of your kindness towards our family, with prompt and helpful communication! You are awesome! May God bless you and yours!

It was so beautiful inside, the outside was so very nice and saw moose and baby plus deer and the birds were outstanding. Our Host was excellent and checked on us. He listened intently to what we were saying and I am handicapped and he took to heart my few suggestions. I love the thought of him doing that and believe he will.

Stay HERE to enjoy all Yellowstone Offers! WOW!

Beautiful house (it’s called a cabin but really a high end house) situated nicely, spotlessly clean, virtually new, just a short drive from the W Yellowstone park entrance. And Rand the owner/host is right there to help in any way. From the towering two story stone two sided fireplace, to the chef’s kitchen, to the beautiful dining table fully set for service for 12 when we arrived, the place has everything you need! Two floors of living with two living areas makes it easy for multiple families to exist comfortably. And the town of W Yellowstone is a great place to eat (The Madison has a great Elk rack). Highly recommend.

We actually stayed in a different home owned by this owner. It’s their Teton View Lodge. The home is absolutely fabulous! The view is outstanding! We did not have a single complaint. The home was clean and very well stocked. The owner and housekeeper were very responsive and helpful. I will warn you that when they say the driveway is steep, they are not exaggerating. Most of us refused to even attempt the garage. We would absolutely return!

Monticola Lodge was the perfect place to host our family get together! After each day's long tour of Yellowstone and Grand Teton, we enjoyed coming back to the home's many amenities. We especially loved gathering in the beautifully decorated kitchen, dining area, and large living room.

Wonderful Yellowstone stay

Our group of three siblings and their families had a very enjoyable stay at the Monticola lodge. Everything at the lodge, from kitchen, common spaces, bedrooms and outdoors are well organized and great for families to get together. It is also very close to the park entrance which made it convenient for our daily trips.

Impeccable Vacation!!!!

Looking for a vacation of a lifetime, you have found it! This house is stunning!!!! You literally only need your food and drinks! We had family and friends with us and everyone had their own space and privacy! The home is so well kept and cared for! Rand was a dream to work with and I must say, he thought of EVERYTHING, with this property! We will definitely be returning to Montana and I promise you, we already know where we are staying again! I’m so thankful to have found this property and look forward to our next stay!

Beautiful home and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay! We had a group of 12 and everyone had a wonderful time. Rand was super responsive and helpful with any questions. Would not hesitate to recommend this home - perfect location for West Yellowstone. We went to Big Sky one day to dogsled, rode snowmobiles through the national forest, and took a Snow Coach through Yellowstone. Highly recommend Buffalo Bar in town for a meal and the pizza from Slippery Otter was a great take home dinner after a full day!

Great Vacation with family and friends.

Home is exceptional, warm and centrally located to spend time at Yellowstone, Grand Teton and Idaho. It has everything you need and we were a large group of 12. Host was always available and supportive.

Family Vacation

The house is absolutely beautiful and perfect for a family vacation. We had eight adults and one 20 month old. We enjoyed the space so much. The kitchen is amazing and has EVERYTHING you could possibly need. The hot tub was perfect after long days in the car going to Yellowstone.

Heaven

The property is beautiful. Check-in was a dream and it has chef’s kitchen for sure. The perfect set up for a large group. Front patio on rear patio are set up for socializing.
