We’ve been to Freddy several times, and this was one of our favorite ways to enjoy the town! We loved our stay! The room is in such an amazing location in the heart of downtown, and was incredibly easy to get in/out of. The place is quirky and fun, and the bed was super comfy. We spent most evenings on the balcony, and my only minor complaint was a fan for the TX heat(we found a small one in the closet!). We hope to be back soon!

Thank you for your wonderful review! We're honored to hear that this was one of your favorite stays in Fredericksburg. It's great to know you enjoyed the downtown location, easy access, unique character of the space, and the comfortable bed. We're especially happy to hear you were able to relax and enjoy your evenings on the balcony. We appreciate your feedback regarding a fan for the Texas heat and will certainly keep that in mind for future improvements. Thank you for choosing to stay with us. We look forward to welcoming you back to Fredericksburg again soon!

This is the perfect place to stay if you want to be in the middle of the Main Street action. Patio is great, room is great, bathroom is big, no complaints whatsoever. The TV situation/streaming is challenging just from the choices offered but not a big deal. The owners are easy to get in touch with if needed and check-in is as complicated as putting a key in a door. We loved it and will definitely stay here again.

You advertise big jacuzzi tub but it has tape and you can’t fill all the way and use the jets. Your AC does not keep up at night. You need curtains on bathtub windows and the door.
Overnattede 2 nætter i juni 2026
Svar fra VrboOwner den 14. jul. 2026
Thank you for your feedback. We do have a large indoor Jacuzzi tub, and the tape is intentionally placed to indicate the recommended fill level. In the past, guests have overfilled the tub, which caused water to overflow and flood the area. The fill line is there to help prevent these issues and ensure the tub can be enjoyed safely. Regarding the AC, we're sorry to hear it did not meet your expectations during your stay. We were not made aware of any issues while you were at the property, and we have not received similar reports from other guests. Had we known, we would have been happy to assist. We will have our team inspect the system to ensure everything is functioning properly. As for privacy, the upstairs loft door is solid. If you are referring to the downstairs entry door facing Main Street, it is glass; however, the living space is located upstairs, and the view from the downstairs door is limited to the staircase. Guests are not able to see into the loft itself from the street. We appreciate your comments and will take them into consideration as we continue to improve the guest experience.

Love the Vibe!

The location is great. The hosts are great—very attentive to every detail. The Loft is roomy and decorated well. The “kitchen” area was all that was needed. The bed and bedding was extremely comfortable. The Main Street road noise was distracting…the noise machine helped. Our stay was delightful.

Cozy Apartment on Main St

We had a good stay here, very nice apartment that included the balcony overlooking the street we spent some time sitting on. Bed was comfortable and the large walk-in shower was nice. Beware of the lockbox, if the black lever won't go down you have to hit the box with your hand a couple times. Great location, traffic at night didn't bother us, wasn't that loud.

Good location

It was a good location. Easy walk to everything we did. Finding parking was a bit tough but we managed and then just moved the car closer when it cleared out. The room was as pictured and it was clean. My only complaint was the 10am checkout. Most places are 11am and that extra hour would have been nice. Otherwise fine.

Hi Michelle, Thank you so much for your review! We're happy to hear you enjoyed the location and that the space was clean and as expected. We understand that an earlier checkout can be inconvenient, our 10am checkout time is clearly outlined in the listing prior to booking, and it helps ensure our housekeeping team has enough time to properly clean and prepare the home for the next guest. We appreciate your understanding and hope to host you again in the future!

Biggest plus of this rental is the location. It is a noisy location even with the "white noise" machine provided. Lighting is very dark. They have a lighted mirror in the bathroom that does not work. To get ready I needed sit in the main living area where I could get outside light. The blue pillows on the beds are stained. The locations is great and is ideal if you want to be on Main and close to shops.

Hi Traci, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the convenience of the location. We wanted to let you know that we have since replaced the batteries in the lighted bathroom mirror and it is now working properly. We will also inspect the blue pillows you mentioned and replace them if needed. We appreciate you bringing these items to our attention so we can continue improving. Thank you again for staying with us.
