Property was as advertised. We loved our stay and the pup loved it too. Great having little extras available, like coffee, condiments, and spices! We had a great time. So much to explore in this area, a weekend was not enough.

Very secluded, with a big backyard. Great for families who like to spend time outdoors. Beware of poor internet service, very close to some premier hiking destinations

We were looking for a secluded, private, relaxing cabin in the woods and this place delivered! It is a small cabin, with a huge property - great for spending time outdoors. The stairs are very steep, as is mentioned in the listing. We were very happy and will book again the next time we need to stay in the area.

This cute home situated in the woods was the perfect getaway for me and my friends! The house was well appointed with everything you could need for a weekend away. There were soooo many games and movies and CDs, it was fantastic to go through everything. The host is so communicative and offers wonderful recommendations that my friends and I thoroughly enjoyed. The property is stunning and peaceful and I could not have asked for a better weekend!

Great little cabin

We stayed for a quick weekend at this cabin and it was great. The property is beautiful and secluded. The cabin was cozy and comfortable.

Fantastic spot for a girls getaway!

Adorable cabin, had everything we needed for a fantastic stay. Owner was quickly responsive to questions and pleasant to speak with. Hot tub was great, outdoor seating areas were cozy and inviting, private feel. Great weekend getaway!

Everything was as described by the owner. Quiet and off the beaten path which was very nice. The place was 15 min from NORA off road which we attended so it was a perfect place to stay for us. Owner was very helpful and informative.

Privacy in the woods

The house is great good for 2-4 people. The property is very secluded and very private. The hot tub was clean and relaxing. I will love to go again in the future.

Great cabin in the woods!

We were looking for a secluded place to get some work done and enjoy some of the area's attractions. This was definitely the place, especially with the hot tub! We appreciated Gerald's recommendations. Be sure to check out Westwind Orchards and Bashakill Vineyards. It was a wonderful week away!

This beautiful place is exactly as described. Quite a lovely area and a beautiful yard. As the host says in his description, it's not for people with mobility issues as the stairs to the loft are quite steep. The beds were quite comfortable and the house was supplied with everything one could imagine. The only issue we had is that the coffee maker needs replacement. Will definitely come back next time in the area

A Much Needed Getaway

It was just the right place at the right time. It was a beautiful cozy place in the woods. Even though it rained, we spent a lot of quiet time with each other. My wife and I hope to come back in the near future. I highly recommend this place to others.

Great Getaway For Two

The property and location were both fantastic! The cabin would be pretty small for any groups larger and 2 or 3 though. Also the listing said there was a queen bed but it was only a full. Still quite comfy though! Highly recommend.

Mid-week anniversary getaway!

We really enjoyed ourselves! Our little home away from home was just what we needed, parents of 5 children (all teens). Large, clean and serene property with a cabin filled with all that one will need. I would definitely love to come back and bring the kids. I know they would love it just as much as we did! Thank you Rosato’s for such a warm, and cozy welcome in your home!

Beautiful location. Attentive host

We had a lovely time here. There was one problem though, and that was that the door was broken and because of that, we didn’t leave the property. The owner was very helpful at getting us in the first time but When we had the same problem, the second time we decided to just stay there until we left.

Im sorry you felt you didnt want to leave the property ..although it is nice to stay there and Forest Bath in Nature known as Shinrin-Yoku in Japanese and go Grounding Barefoot on the earth which was just on the Good Mourning news here in NYC and all the benefits it has to offer. The Door is not broken but All you need to do was just give a good tugg and lift. The severe climate changes cause the door to expand and contract up there in the mountains. But Im glad you enjoyed your stay!

Remote retreat

My girl and i are a youthful 70. We had no problem what so ever. Beautiful walking even the hills. Your accommodations for us were perfect. Advertised as it is. The indoor wood stove set the perfect mood/ambience for the weather. Thank you it could not have been better.

Just what the doctor ordered!!

It was so great to get away from it all to a perfectly equipped cabin (there are coffee beans, a grinder and coffee maker, even)! There are places nearby to hike, as well as the town of Wurtsboro with restaurants and an ice cream place. We so enjoyed the hot tub and sitting by the fire at night. On the rainy day there were board games to play and access to Netflix and Amazon. The grounds are beautiful! And our host Gerard was accessible and very helpful. Highly recommend!!
