We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the lake house. Views: The views of the lake were amazing. We enjoyed hanging out at the dock and on the main deck. It was a little chilly so we didn’t get to take advantage of renting a pontoon/jet ski from Mobile Watercraft Rentals or use the paddle boats that were made available. Three of the bedrooms offered a great view of the lake. Even my mom was impressed by how beautiful the views were. Kitchen: My wife gave the stove 5 out 5 stars. There was plenty of space to meal prep. A definitely plus was that the dishwasher was quiet when it ran and the grill was located on the deck not far from the kitchen. Living room/game room: Couldn't be happier. There was plenty of space for everyone. We appreciated that the house was stocked with games. Bedrooms/Baths: We loved that the master bedroom had a walk out to the deck as did the bedroom on the 2nd floor. All of the bathrooms offered plenty of towels for everyone to use. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was great. My wife rated the stove 5 out 5 stars. There was plenty of for meal prep and was grateful that the dishwasher was quiet when we used it. We used the fireplace the first evening that we stayed in the home added to the comfortable feel as we sat down to share dinner with our family and friends. Laundry room: Great washer and dryer. We definitely plan to rent this home again.

We really enjoyed our time here. The lake view was absolutely stunning—perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxation. The host was welcoming and responsive, which made everything smooth and enjoyable. That said, the cleaning could have been better. Overall, a great getaway with great potential!

Deceitfully Pretty

Home is just beautiful in build. House was only surface cleaned. Horribly stained carpets. The bed broke when sat on. Had to put mattress on floor. Huge hole in ceiling tile where water leaks. Repair guys knew it was leaking left powdered tile dirt on floor right where it fell. lol. Can’t use master shower because of the leak. Chocolate on walls in one of the rooms. It has such potential. Lovely location. Poorly taken care of. I did love the kitchen though. Deck needed power washed and screened porch….overpriced vacation home.

I read this in some other reviews but figured it had been addressed. This is a high price point property for the area and it really needs some TLC to make it worth the cost. Mold on and under the deck (which you walk under to get in and out), dust bunnies on walls above every AC vent, cracked ceiling fan in one bedroom, big stains on carpets, drywall cutout in the ceiling in one bedroom, poor AC in the master, gutters with grass/weeds growing out of them, washed out beach has deck chairs with faded sales stickers on them, broken video game in basement, speaker pulled out of the wall. That all said, it is a great house, my 12 year old said it best: "this place is 3000 and some sweat equity away from being totally awesome". We did enjoy our stay. The house is easy to use and the layout is great. We rented it as a family vacation home but it feels set-up/cared for like a party house.

Good house with untapped potential

House was in a great location and is really well designed. Beds were comfortable. Overall, house is in need of a thorough cleaning- I know this was in other reviews and I guess I just figured they would have done it by now...but they haven't. My 12 year-old said it best: "this place is $3000 and some sweat equity away from being totally awesome". We rented it as a family vacation home but it feels set-up/cared for like a party house.

Long weekend family getaway

Great location, great space! The kayaks were great! The deck and screened in porch could use a good power washing. There was some dry rot on the rails and porch doors too. The kitchen was not very stocked with supplies and the pans they did have were not great (food stuck). We had a leak in the basement that was addressed right away! Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Amazing

Everything starting from house to location to service was perfect… house is exactly like on pictures … check in and communication with property management was easy too! Overall great place and wonderful experience! Definitely will come back there!

Nice property with some issues.

Nice property, but the house was not clean so we were very disappointed. There was sand all over the floors chips and crumbs everywhere. We had some issues with the technology in the house not working. Overall we had a great time despite the issues.

Wonderful Weekend With Family

This is a great property! Loved the spaciousness and the beds were so comfortable. We had a houseful, but still so many places to go to be alone. The kayaks and swimming off the dock were so much fun. They provided life vests too. In the rain we hung out at the screened in porch… so nice! Overall very clean. The kitchen has tons of silverware, plates, cups, etc. They also even had things like spices, aluminum foil, cutting boards,knives, etc. They could benefit by having a couple more large kettles for a groups like ours (12 people) There was plenty of propane, but the grill didn’t work. Plenty of parking and was very easy to find. Super peaceful and private. It’s 10 minutes from Food Lion. We didn’t eat out, but some of the others got food from the Tasty Crab and said it was good. Not a lot of restaurants or shopping around. Overall… loved it and wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

RLW Lake Vacay

This is a beautiful home. At first glance it was clean, but there were a few areas that needed attention. The counter was very wobbly so we refrained from using it. We mentioned these to the host. They responded promptly. Overall the family had a great time!

Beautiful Home- Beautiful Area

So much room for our big Brady Bunch family. Beautiful home, comfy furnishings, well equipped with all the amenities. There were a few glitches- like one of the shower heads didn’t work and someone was supposed to come to fix it but no one ever showed up - we had 3 other bathrooms to shower in so we worked it out. The video gaming table wasn’t working and the TV in the basement didn’t work. We had TV’s in other rooms and plenty of other games to entertain ourselves so that wasn’t the end of the world either. The sofa in the living room was starting to fall apart but it was still comfortable. None of these issues were deal breakers, just a little inconvenient or disappointing. I would still love to come back and stay here in the summer time.

Beautiful, spacious, clean home

We would definitely stay here again. The home was beautiful! We went with a couple of families and there was plenty to do for everyone from the game room to the kayaks. The home was extremely clean. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space! It’s only 4 stars because we had an issue with the oven while we were there and it wasn’t rectified until the last day, BUT the staff was very responsive and compassionate about the inconvenience. We would definitely like to stay there again and would recommend it!

Skip it. Far better homes

Warning. While they brag about a dock you can use it. They do not include a pass for the boat launch. Thus no way to get you boat to the dock or even the hotside. Ruined the entire vacation. Angy beaver at the beach. Also was busy downing trees on the property. He will chase you if your unlucky. House not updated. Bring your own kitchen pots and pan. Bring a metal spatula, stuff like this is lacking. Dust on wood work, all lamps. Broken screen door resulted in a cut finger. Warning trash guy brings his kids to use and swim at the beach.

Beautiful and spacious with shortcomings

The lakefront amenities were great! The dock and beach areas provided space for our family to swim, sun, fish, and float. The kitchen was very well equipped with plenty of seating for meals. The bottom level game room and wet bar was useful and gave us room to spread out.

Beautiful Peaceful Vacation Home. Comfortable, Family Oriented, Relaxing and Breathtaking. Only concern not enough towels for the number of days we stayed prefer clean towels for each day. Will definitely be back

Adams Family Christmas on Lake Anna

We stayed in Lake Anna for the first time for our annual Adams family Christmas/New Years vacation, visiting from Florida. The house was beautifully appointed in a nice community directly on the lake with great access to the water. The house was large and spacious and at first arrival in good clean order. As we began settling in we found some of the detailed comforts and cleanliness to be a little less so. The kitchen was left with garbage in the can and without any garbage bags provided. There were dirty utensils and dirty used foil in the drawers. We appreciated linens and towels being provided. Paper products were sparingly supplied. Despite it being January the weather was warm and we were able to play a bit. The patio deck was spacious and had plenty of seating room including a screened in section. A gas grill and smudge pot heater were great features of use. We bought a broom though in order to clean it of the needles and leaves that were plenty since the last guest. Kayaks and life vests were available for use and made for a nice time on the water. We purchased our own fishing rod for fishing. Overall we had a great time at Bella Vita. It’s a beautiful home with lots of potential. She just needs a personal touch and the niceties you would expect from home.
