DETAILS: Enjoy a refreshing, Gulf-front escape at Ocean Walkers—a stunning North Cape San Blas home Consithat sleeps 16 with 5 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. Partake in delightful days sunning beside turquoise waters or exploring the historic towns of nearby Port St. Joe and Apalachicola. Guests will love the endless Gulf views and quick beach access available at this 3-story home.

Made for beach living, the ground floor features a gas grill for cookouts and an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a stroll along the shore or a fun-filled beach visit. Head upstairs to the first floor, where nautical accents and a dark wood ceiling combine with traditional wainscoting to create an elegant, sea-inspired great room. The beautifully outfitted kitchen has high-end appliances and an island that seats 3, along with a wine cooler and beverage fridge in the adjacent butler’s pantry. Discuss the day’s plans while sharing a delicious breakfast at the dining table, with 2 chairs and 2 benches. The chaise couch and TV in the living area provide an excellent spot to unwind inside. Slide open the glass doors on the back wall and discover the true treasure of the home—a covered deck with a 4-person patio table and loungers to enjoy the salty breeze and Gulf view. The guest bedroom on this floor has direct access to the back deck.

We Loved the location. From the house perspective, we loved the two porches overlooking the beach. The house was updated and there were plenty of rooms and beds. Could have used more king sized beds. Also the hot tub wasnt filled up enough and the cover needs replacing. We had a lot of trouble getting into the house upon arrival. Had to try five different access codes and talk to the on call help after hours And the beach gate code was wrong also.

Overall, a great place to stay. The location is perfect. You can basically walk to the stores, food, retail, etc… Minor issues: main level bedroom- hand pull comes off when trying to pull the shower closed. Kitchen- the sprayer will not stay on at the sink.

Ocean Walkers was in poor condition for our week with my parents, ages 80 and 86, and three kids. I would not rent it again.We found dead cockroaches on arrival, then saw adults and babies running around; we have photos. We declined pest spray with elderly parents and kids in the house. After just a few hours indoors, our feet were black from the floors.The hot tub was off, cloudy, and full of bugs, debris, and sand. A pool worker said its breaker issue had been diagnosed six weeks earlier. He restarted, drained, and cleaned it the next day. Water pooled inches deep on the upper deck and dripped through a fan below.Only one of three deck doors worked normally. One would not open; another was so difficult and noisy that we had to walk through a guest bedroom to reach the deck. The beach gate code did not work, and the stairs ended about two feet above the sand. My parents could not access the beach until maintenance shoveled sand beneath the last step.The dishwasher was broken for six of our seven days. Some stored dishes appeared unclean, and we hand-washed dishes for the group nearly all week. A beverage fridge, dryer, toaster, TVs, and remotes also had problems. There was one trash can for a home sleeping 16; it already held garbage when we arrived, so bags piled up outside.Maintenance workers were wonderful, but they had to visit most days. We lost hours of a family trip to problems that should have been addressed before anyone checked in.

Perfect Birthday Celebration

We love Cape San Blas and choose to travel for me and my moms dual birthday celebration that included my siblings and all the grandkids. This space was perfect! Its gorgeous throughout and provided ample kitchen ware supplies. Short walk to the beach made it nice as well. We had a couple of all day rainy days but had plenty of space to stay in and play cards and board games. Will be back!

Beautiful property and excellent views!

Very nice accommodations. House itself is well built. Professionally decorated for sure. Could see a little wear on painted cabinets. Faucet in kitchen probably needs to be replaced. Other than that plenty of space to spread out. It is on the beach so proximity to beach was awesome. Hot tub is a nice addition as well for the cooler nights. I would definitely come back!
