Great location just outside of San Pedro and an easy walk to the beach. Karen was awesome.

Property was in a great location. It was easy to check in and out. I travel a lot and would recommend staying here. Everything was great with the exception of the water pressure in one of the showers. Outside of that, great place

Nice place

Property manager was very easy to communicate with and I got back really quick with me. Was really helpful arranging for golf cart and what not. Place is really clean. Would definitely stay there again.

Ok, some issues to be aware of

This is an ok location close to downtown, but still on edge of things. If you go south, it's quieter.I would be aware of a few things that I will just mention.The manager is very nice, helpful and responsive. There is also a person to help you make reservations and assist while there. She left us hanging when we needed to make it to the ferry with no excuse. I'm hesitant to say it was perfect in that regard.They arrange golf carts through a company that is not great. We had constant trouble and had to switch out carts several times. No one ever suggested we get any compensation for out troubles. This marred my impression.The house was pretty clean. I was grossed out by something stuck in the couch, like someone's gum or an old tissue. I also had to thoroughly clean the coffee maker that came complete with someone's old coffee grounds, petrified inside the machine.Kind of a minor thing, but the handle was broken off the drawer that holds the garbage can. It was a pain to get it open the many times you want to throw something away.There was no trash receptacle outside. We were told to leave it downstairs on the ground. I think the grounds could be spruced up easily, and should be.Worst, the roof leaked. It's a known problem and in process of repair. But we weren't told and it leaked on my son while he was sleeping. The wet bed was then out of commission. Again, no compensation for that.Ok, maybe not ready for prime time.

Perfect

This was a great place to stay. Very close to shopping and restaurants. Chefy couldn’t have been a better host. Karen was wonderful. I would recommend booking snorkel tours and golf cart rentals through her. She was kind and helpful and available when needed.

Friendly San Pedro

Cerca Del Mar property was perfect size for the 5 of us. It would have been nice to have more essentials in the kitchen such as spices to cook with. Overall, our stay was wonderful. Karen and Chef were very kind, responsive, and helpful with all our arrangements.

Great place in San Pedro

One block from the beach and close to the airport. Place was very clean and spacious, and kitchen has everything you needed.

Short stay

Chefy and Karen were super helpful. Karen helped organize tours and golf cart rental and the taxis back to the ferry when we departed. The condo was very nice and well located, very close to restaurants and grocery stores. It's a great "home base" for enjoying the island.

Safe, quiet, relaxing place

Nice, clean, safe and spacious apartment with everything you need. Located just south of the busy main town. Easy walking distance to stores, restaurants and other amenities. This apartment is tucked away off the Main road. Easy access to water front. The owner communication is attentive with good response time. He had a lady meet us at the ferry and take us to the property. We very much enjoyed our stay here. I would recomened. The location will not show up on Google maps as it is tucked away half a block off the Main road, don't let this discouraged you.

San Pedro condo

After staying at one of the big resorts on Ambergris Caye to get a feel for the island as it was our first trip to Belize, we opted to try a condo that was closer to downtown San Pedro. This was a big enough place for the 6 of us. It wasn’t overly fancy, but was a good location within walking distance if you wanted, but also super fun to rent a golf cart to explore. Chefy was easily reachable if needed, but his assistant was amazing. Thank you Karen for always being available from meeting us at the airport to take us and our 8 bags to the condo and getting us checked in - also we had older parents with us and they allowed an earlier check in and a slightly later departure and helped with taking care of and returning the golf carts as well as dropping us off at the airport. Karen was also available to book tours etc…. this was our first trip but won’t be our last. Maybe most folks bring toiletries, but it would be nice to add more and another hair dryer to the other bathroom. Overall a great, quiet location with a lovely local couple that lived in the unit below.
