Nice villa with a fantastic pool.
The property exudes charm. Although the view from the first floor is impressive, it's partially obstructed by trees. The pool, a significant asset, is generously sized. Regrettably, the kitchen fan was dysfunctional, making cooking an unpleasant task. We also faced issues with the fuses for the washing machine.
Our check-in experience was hampered by a language barrier. The attendant spoke no English, and our attempts in German proved futile. Consequently, check-in became a comical mix of hand gestures, fragmented Spanish, and numerals scrawled on paper. Achieving accuracy in these circumstances was virtually impossible.
Throughout the week, our primary mode of communication was through texting, which, while functional, had its limitations. On our final day, with a check-out time set for 10:00, we assumed full property access until then. This assumption was incorrect. Our children were swimming since 8:30 when, at 9:00, the gardener/pool attendant instructed them to vacate, threatening to involve the police. Surprisingly, he spoke enough English for this. Simultaneously, our agent messaged us, advising against pool use as it had already been prepared for the next guests. It would have been considerate to receive this information during check-in, perhaps in Italian, which we might have missed.
In a global market catering to international travelers, employing an English-speaking representative could significantly enhance the experience.
