Dette Log Home perle blev bygget nyt i 2007 som en model hjem og er nu ved at blive åbnet op for offentligheden udlejning. Opmærksomhed for detaljer er forbløffende. Denne smukke hjem har højfrekvent hvælvede lofter med log åse, kviste og gavle, at arkitekter drømmer om. Dens massive vinduer fange skønheden i de omkringliggende synspunkter, herunder marskland, skov og det funklende søen. Disse vinduer giver dig mulighed for at stå i ærefrygt for den smukke solopgange og solnedgange, der ledsager den maleriske Minnesota landskab. A weekend to remember!

We LOVED this place!! It had everything we needed for our gathering. Six of my family members stayed there and we were very comfortable. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised that we had a view of the lake!. Totally unexpected. So cozy and comfortable. The caretaker was very nice and very helpful. l would rent this place again in a heartbeat!

Great stay for multiple families

Super clean, spacious cabin which was ideal for two families. Across the street from the lake and on a busy highway made access to the lake with younger kids a little tricky (waiting for a gap in speeding vehicles from both directions to cross the road). Host was great.

Everything was outstanding! Steve and Loren were great Host! If I was to add one thing I wish they would have put the dock in at the lake. Thank you for an AWESOME WEEKEND!!!!

Family Getaway

Highly recommend this property. With five adults and four young children, the log home was spacious and allowed each family to have their own space, for quiet time, and for four energetic little people (ages 5, almost 2, and 16 month old twins) to roam. The sunrises and sunsets over the lake were spectacular! We took advantage of the fire pit and enjoyed our late afternoon and evenings around the fire. Loren, the property manager, was wonderful, extremely accommodating and went out of his way to make our stay a great experience. We definitely will return at some point for another family getaway.

A family vacation

Three of us stayed in Garrison for a week. We enjoyed the house very much. We cooked every night and the kitchen was well appointed. The local grocery store was sufficient. There was a fruit and vegetable stand close by. We drove to Brainerd frequently. Lots of cute stores including Christmas Point and Rice Company (not sure of the exact name). which is not a Christmas store . There was a wild fire in the land behind the house on our last day there. Pretty interesting and exciting! I love Minnesota.

Beautiful Getaway!

Our end of the summer trip couldn’t have gone any better! The cabin itself was amazing (pictures don’t do it justice) and although we did have to cross a busy road to get to the lake and dock, it was all worth it from the cotton candy sunrises to the spacious game room and hospitable people we met. Thank you so much for making our stay comfortable and unforgettable!! :)

Great memories made at this property!

We had 7 adults in the house and it was more than enough space. Loren was amazing and very helpful when we checked in. There is lots of yard to at Yard games etc. The lake is across the road and we were able to keep our boat on the dock. The road is busy but we navigated it no problem. We definitely would book again!

Awesome

First and foremost communication with the host was excellent. We had several questions and always got quick responses. Secondly the home is beautiful our entire group loved this house and were blown away by it as soon as we drove up. It’s big and well maintained. It’s also fully stocked with extra bedding and things. We had three couples and each of us had a couple little kids so the extra air mattresses and bedding came in handy. There is a dock so we brought our boat and docked it there. It is across a busy road but it’s not to inconvenient. Overall it was a fantastic stay and we plan on coming back.

Beautiful Home

This home is just beautiful. Steve was an excellent host. He had everything we needed there for the kitchen, bathrooms and entertainment - all we needed to do was provided our own food. Steve even added some personal touches by checking us in himself/showing us around the property/leaving us a bottle of wine. While the location isn’t the greatest for those with little kids, right across from a busy highway, we and our adult kids were able to navigate it several times during our stay, mainly to access the dock across the way. Steve recommended Terry’s boat rental, where we were able to rent a pontoon for the whole day and come/go as we pleased. Steve also had several excellent food recommendations - Out of Place Pizza, which was rated very highly by the whole family (and we’re from Chicago). Twin Pines was also very good and just a walk down the road. Overall, excellent stay.

Me and my 2 brothers along with our sons and grandsons spent 4 days and nights while fishing during.

Excellent place to stay. Would be better with a more beds in the game room. We had 9 adult men and only 3 beds. Rest slept on air mattresses and one roll out bed. Still was very nice place

Great experience!

Everything was great about our stay. It was super easy to communicate while booking and checking in. Had no issues with the house-was very clean, had all we needed and the online listing was spot on! Plenty of room for kids to play out front and to the side of the house, despite being close to the highway. Close to boat ramps for a great fishing experience too!

Excellent summer retreat

Great place to stay for a guys get together. The house is immaculate and had comfortable beds with extra air mattress and blankets if needed. There is a dock across 169 that we had access too. We rented a pontoon for the day and just docked it when we needed to come in. Steve was an excellent communicator and very punctual with his responses. I would definitely recommend this home for any kind of gathering!

Log Home living enables me to surround myself with nature and still enjoy the comforts of modern American life.

PS I forgot to mention RELAXING. A great place to get away with friends and family.

My brother and I built this Log Home in this location because of the beautiful view of Mille Lacs Lake to the East and the picturesque marshlands to the west. We originally built this home as a Model for our Log Home company and have since decided to open it to the public for their weekly rental enjoyment.

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

The unique benefits of this property are the breathtaking views and the centralized location halfway between Historic Duluth and Minneapolis St. Paul for vacation planning. Just about any outdoor activity you enjoy is within minutes of this beautiful home.
