The cabin was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed and the room layout worked well for our family. TJ was very responsive with questions and left us ingredients to make s'mores, which was a nice treat! The cabin has boat access to the lake through a channel. I'm guessing you would have to go to a beach area if you wanted to swim or float though.

Excellent place if you're looking for a Mille Lacs getaway with a large group. Tons of on-property amenities, mostly level walkout to a private dock, fantastic firepit and cabana (large table to socialize.) We had 6 people from ages 14-76, and all of us loved it! TJ is an excellent host, very good communicator and can help with anything you need. Highly recommended, book it now before it fills up!

I would give this a 20 star rating if I could! We had three families: six adults and four kids under six. Plenty of room inside and shaded outside to enjoy our time there. We had the hottest days of the year so far at 95 plus! We were so thankful for AC in the bedrooms! And because we had a welcome basket with s’more makings, we had a bonfire when the temp dropped to 92 TJ was so helpful in answering all my questions before and after we arrived. We brought our pontoon and fishing boat so did lots of swimming and fishing. Plenty of room for both on the dock. We also brought a water table for the kids which they enjoyed in the large shaded yard. Everything you need is provided—just bring your toothbrush and have fun! Thanks for a memorable vacation TJ!

This stay was incredibly disappointing and honestly nothing like what was represented in the listing. I would absolutely NOT stay here again.First, the property was not actually on the lake the way the photos/listing made it appear. The pictures were very misleading and did not accurately represent the property or what was actually provided when we arrived.The cleanliness and pest situation was by far the worst part. There were MICE inside the house AND in the garage. We also had an unbelievable amount of bugs. They were everywhere, inside and outside. We could barely open the door without bugs swarming inside, and then we were dealing with them throughout the house. I have photos documenting the conditions.The house was extremely hot, and we were unable to adjust the temperature to make it comfortable. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, the home itself was very outdated, and several things shown or stated in the listing were either not there or not as represented.The washer and dryer did not work properly, and we repeatedly had to reset/trip outlets just to get things to work. For a vacation rental, these are basic things guests should be able to expect to function.What made the experience even more frustrating was the lack of care to accommodate. We booked this trip based on the description and photos... sadly.I encourage everyone to look elsewhere.

Dear Future Guests, We’re sorry this guest did not have the experience we work hard to provide. We take every guest’s concerns seriously and made a sincere effort to address the issues raised as soon as we were made aware/after their stay. For context, the cabin is located on a natural lakeside property, so insects are part of the environment. We thoroughly prepare and inspect the cabin before every arrival, and there were no bugs inside when this guest checked in. Doors were left open during the stay, which can allow insects into a lakeside cabin. We also investigated the other concerns raised, including the washer/dryer and temperature, and found those items functioning properly. We have not historically experienced mice inside the cabin. The cabin is located on a private harbor that is part of Lake Mille Lacs, as described in our listing, and our photos accurately show the dock, gazebo, fish-cleaning house and surrounding property. We have hosted approximately 120 groups and maintain a 4.95-star average, with overwhelmingly positive feedback. We encourage future guests to read our other reviews to get a broader picture of the property and the experience we strive to provide. We’re sorry this particular stay did not meet this guest’s expectations, and we remain committed to providing a clean, comfortable and accurately represented property for every guest.

Family get away

Beautiful cabin and area.

We really enjoyed the cabin so the family could all stay together. Had everything we needed. The property manager went above and beyond to make our stay a very pleasant vacation.

Great place to stay

We had a great “up north” weekend with my friends and I. TJ provided everything we needed to have it be a successful weekend! Would definitely come back in future years.

Very Comfortable and Relaxing

Great location, great amenities, and a fantastic host who bent over backwards to make us feel at home! My family and I had a wonderful time!
