Let’s correct the record. The beds are brand-new. The plastic mattress covers are standard protective measures commonly used in rentals to safeguard mattresses against accidental wetting. A battery in the fan remote died—a minor, ordinary inconvenience—and you chose to replace it on your own; we neither asked nor expected you to do so. You were also informed before arrival that we recommend not drinking the water, so suggesting otherwise is simply false. Your review exaggerates minor issues while omitting facts that were clearly communicated in advance. Despite all these complaints, the stay was still well worth what you paid. It is disappointing when guests attempt to damage a host’s reputation with statements that are misleading or demonstrably untrue. Criticism is fair; misrepresentation is not. You maam are unrealistic.
