After a day at the bustling Riverwalk (just 2.2 mi away) come home to zen-like interiors, soak your tired feet in our hot tub jets, try cold plunge therapy in our cooling/heated pool, dry yourself off with a towel from our towel warmer while you make smores in our “smokeless” fire pit or enjoy our massage chair, and end the night belting out duets with your bestie on our karaoke machine. We have no doubt, some amazing amenities, but what truly sets this property apart is me, your host! I’m committed to your comfort and well-being, available 24/7 to ensure your stay is exceptional.

I love interior decor! All my listings will be light and bright and relaxing. I invite you to read my reviews. I am a very helpful, attentive, and generous host. I host with the golden rule in mind, and anyone who knows me knows how much I love hosting and entertaining, feeding people- I’m a foodie always thinking about the next thing I can eat- and bringing people together, so it comes to no suprise that becoming a host --is my dream job!
On a personal note, I run this short term rental so I can have time freedom and homeschool my kids. I am also an author of a relationship book for teenage girls (“This is What They Never Tell You about Love, Guys, and Sex”) and love to make tik tok videos giving dating advice. I see friends every day, am addicted to foot massages, am an extreme extrovert (100% says the tests!), love rock climbing and hot yoga, and my name means “green” in Japanese. Also, I could probably drink bubble tea every day of my life. Also I’m an over sharer, and also I use way too many exclamation points out of fear my texts come out as not friendly! If you’re still reading this, God bless your heart. I will do my absolute best to make sure your stay at our place is as wonderful as it can be so you can focus on making those life long memories and enjoy your stay!

We’re proud to offer one of the only private stays near the Riverwalk that includes both a hot tub and a temperature-controlled cowboy pool — and none of it is shared. That said, please read carefully before booking.
This home is located in a gentrifying, inner-city neighborhood — not an upscale area. You’ll see a mix of beautifully remodeled homes and others that are still in transition. Expect some construction, city noise, occasional strays, and streets nearby that may be uneven or have overgrown properties. It’s very urban and evolving, and that comes with character — and a few quirks.
We’ve never had any safety issues since opening in 2022— no break-ins, no problems with neighbors — and we personally feel safe here. I’ve stayed multiple times, including with friends, and always felt comfortable in the home and on our street. I don’t recommend walking to downtown attractions; they’re just a quick, cheap Uber or Lyft away (about 7 minutes to the Riverwalk).
The interior is clean, stylish, and well-appointed — but please don’t book expecting a luxury neighborhood. You’re paying for proximity to the action, free parking (3 spots!), and a private retreat with great amenities — not a polished suburb.
We just ask that guests be realistic about the setting and read our reviews. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out before booking. Transparency matters to us, and we want you to feel informed and excited — not surprised.
As an added security, there's also the option for me to give guests access to our home security alarm if they want to arm the place at night, but I personally don't think it's necessary for safety. I don’t arm the place when I stay there. I use the security system mainly for when the property is vacant. Lastly I will note that there is a fully fenced back yard, and I would feel my kids are safe to play there as well.
