The house was very clean. The kitchen stove, dishwasher and refrigerator were in great working order. The downtown area in Gualala is very nearby, shops and grocery stores. The view from the dining room overlooking the PACIFIC was the highlight of the house.

Seaflower Cove was lovely! It was plenty of space for 4 couples and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking a few meals. We saw tons of whales from the dining room and roof deck and enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. Brentan and Liz were great hosts and very easy to communicate with. We would absolutely stay again!

A beautiful sunroom, lots of decks, living room and Master bedroom all oriented to an artist’s view of the Ocean. It was comfortable and quiet. It could accommodate an entire family with kids and their friends.

We rented the house for 6 nights for a quilting retreat for 8 women. Everyone loved the house! We had room for our sewing stations, we had room to have some quiet time alone, great kitchen for dinners together, very comfortable beds (even the top bunk beds) - all frosting on the cake of the location! Views! Views! Views from almost every room. Very close to grocery and other stores. Easy drive to beautiful beaches. The neighborhood felt very safe and was really quiet. The hosts were helpful and quickly responsive to questions.We are already planning next year’s retreat at this property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was exactly as described—comfortable, well-equipped, and thoughtfully maintained. The views from every room were breathtaking and made the experience even more special. The owners were very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions. We would definitely return.

The house was great for 12 adults, although it was unclear from the listing that this house is four stories. The loft room on the lowest floor, the floor above that has a primary bedroom with a king and another bedroom with a double. The floor above that is kitchen and living room, and above that is a room with a double bed and a roof patio. The view is unbeatable and the living room fits most everyone in it. The stove broke during our stay, but the host was extremely communicative and solved the issue right away. We would stay here again.

The listing description states that the rooms are spread across 4 floors (it's the last headline in the main description area) and the floorplans are included in the listing photos. Very nice house, with an amazing view from the dining room. Great that the home had solar power because the power was out in the whole town, but the house had power and heat during the entire outage. Beds were all very comfortable and the master had a beautiful en-suite with great bathtub. Owner was easy to communicate with and quick to respond to any issues.

Seaflower

Gorgeous view of the ocean. We saw harbor seals, a nesting pair of acorn woodpeckers, osprey, deer, and hummingbirds. It was just lovely!

Great Trip to the Cali Coast

The house has great space for all. The views from the top porch are amazing morning, day and night. Convenient location to the stores and shops in Gualala. Local beaches and parks are just minutes away. We had so much fun on the coast and Seaflower Cove was always great to come back to.

We came with a group of friends and everyone was blown away by the view in every room. We enjoyed the most amazing meals in that dining room and everyone slept comfortably in the many beds. They even have EV charging!! If you’re considering staying here, DO IT!! 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Beautiful, spacious home!!

The dining area has entire glass walls and ceiling! It allows for the most fabulous view of the ocean. Kitchen was well stocked with all cooking utensils needed. There are great views from all of the rooms. I was able to find privacy throughout the house even though we had several people staying. The town was so close we were able to walk there and did several times. I will be booking this house again!!

Ocean views in every room

Absolutely gorgeous views in a comfortable home. Worked well for our large family. The house is four stories and has a large amount of stairs which is definitely something to be aware of before renting. There is no beach access from the house but you can drive about a mile to a very nice beach.

The stay was perfect for a very rainy weekend. The house was warm and comfortable for a group of 9. We had everything we needed to cook dinners and breakfasts. Great coffee set up. There are a lot of steps in the home which was good for many of us since we spent so much time indoors and going up and down the stairs made us move around. The stairs were difficult however, for the older members of our party. The split level home afforded great privacy and quiet which was great. We did find a short walk around the neighborhood with great views of the ocean. We drove to other places to actually hike and have beach access. The town of Gualala is a gem and we enjoyed a bit of shopping, good coffee, and yummy seafood. I wish we could have enjoyed the outdoor spaces, but the rain kept us in. We had a lovely time. Thank you hosts for all the amenities.

Needs some attention

We had a great time and the hosts were accommodating. Lots of room and a beautiful view. No top sheets on some of the beds. Told that the housekeepers like it that way. ‘’ European Style” whatever that is. The home needs a good overall cleaning. Downstairs bunk room you could see mouse droppings between wall and bed. Stained throw pillows in the living room and needs new cooking utensils. We don’t like to give negative reviews but you need to know what you are walking into. We will go back to Sea Ranch next time. The hosts did let us check in early which we were happy about.

We are shocked by the 3 star review, especially as our other recent guests have left glowing reviews and weren’t made aware of issues during the stay. We take seriously the issues you have raised and appreciate the feedback on the pillows and kitchen utensils...we agree that things do tend to get a bit tired at summer’s end after the busy season and we will replace and restock during the slow season this winter (we will also be replacing the carpet and refinishing cabinets in the kitchen to keep up on regular maintenance items). We do have a pest professional come by the house monthly for bugs and critters, we have not had any other reports of issues from other guests but will relay your note to our service provider to make sure things are properly sealed. Thank you for staying with us!

One of the best VRBO's we've ever stayed at. Views were magnificent, and windows of the house/balconies were everywhere and gorgeously placed. Bedrooms and amenities in the house were perfect. Communication with hosts was prompt and considerate. My only recommendation to the host would be screens on the windows so guests can leave them all open throughout the day and night. Wonderful stay though and can't wait to come back!

Our family of nine spent four nights at this gorgeous location and it did not disappoint. We absolutely loved having family meals in the sunroom with panoramic views of the ocean. Our visit included some weird situations (power outage, missing towels from a previous guest, etc.) the owners were responsive, communicative, and helpful! And – the house had a backup battery so we didn’t even notice the power outage! We would absolutely stay here again.
