3 Oceanfront Bedrooms en-suite with decks that extend over the ocean on the north shore. Surf sound and ocean views engulf your senses as you enter and enjoy this beachfront getaway. Private oceanfront lot with outdoor patio furniture, hammock and hot tub/spa. Open living room, kitchen with laundry with two bedrooms/baths upstairs with indoor and outdoor deck dining and lounging options. Downstairs bedroom with deck right on the water has its own kitchen, bathroom and laundry. House comes ready for your stay with bed linens and towels provided along with fully functional and stocked kitchen and outdoor gas grill. Island beach toys for your convenience: 2 kayaks, beach chairs, snorkels, fins, beach towels, etc. Step out your door to the beach, put on your fins and snorkel to swim out to the island’s #2 dive buoy located directly in front of house. If you want to enjoy the water and relax oceanside this is the place! The north shore is renowned for its diving opportunities. Beach house is located conveniently to Cane Bay amenities (restaurants, open bars, dive shops, rental equipment, hiking, and mountain biking trails, golf, zip lining and horseback riding). This house offers both serenity and proximity to outdoor recreation and is situated halfway between Christiansted and Fredriksted. We feel its location offers the best of both worlds. Very nice stay

This is a very nice house with a beautiful view. Well stocked kitchen and everything we needed for a nice week with our adult children. The bedrooms were quiet and the beds were very comfortable.

Still a Jewel of the North

Had another amazing stay on the North Shore at Surf Sound. Have stayed numerous times at this rental over the past few years and it is always a top notch experience. Great location and great amenities. My wife and I are usually here by ourselves, but know that it would be a perfect place for 3 couples to hang for a great gay day.

Beautiful home and ocean views

The house and property were perfect. A beautiful home with lots of outdoor living spaces. It had all amenities and was fully stocked — we appreciated using the snorkeling equipment, beach towels, yoga mats, etc. Loved being right on the ocean with the sounds of the waves. Christie (owner) and Samantha (manager) were very friendly and helpful. We had a great vacation on St. Croix and would highly recommend staying at this house.

Trip of a lifetime

Wow! What is there not to say about this place?! We stayed two weeks and wish it was longer, the views are the spectacular, the house is everything you need and the host and property manager we're phenomenal. From having separate ACs in every room to beach chairs, snorkeling equipment and kayaks everything is provided by the host. Next time we're in SAt. Croix, there is no where else we would stay but here.

Spring Break 2024

Fantastic property on the North Shore of St. Croix. The property is as nice as described and is very well stocked for your stay, including beach chairs, snorkling gear, and kitchen supplies. The owners are very nice, communicate well, and go out of their way to ensure your stay is first class. The onsite property manager is very nice, responsive, and will even lead you to the property upon your arrival at the airport. We've stayed in many VRBO's over the years - this one was right up there with the very best of experiences. We had a fantastic week and will not hesitate to rent this property again if/when we return to St. Croix.

Surf Sounds and more!

Christie and Samantha are excellent to work with. This was our second time staying at Surf Sound and we will be back. The listing is accurate and if anything is temporarily different they will let you know in advance. I appreciate the whole house A/C and all of the kitchen supplies the most. It is an extremely comfortable property. Beds and furniture are comfy with plenty of room to unpack your personal items. The location is excellent on the North shore! I could say more but, I have limited space!

Stunning Christmas stay!

Our family had an amazing stay here in St Croix. This home has an excellent location right on the northern shore with amazing decks overseeing the ocean and so many amenities you cannot describe them all. Over the top kitchen supplies are at hand, along with 3 separate bedrooms and baths (one set is accessible from garage as a whole separate living area). Lots of snorkeling equipment, life jackets, bath towels for you to use, including a couple of kayaks and a hot tub! There is a dive buoy right out front and we took advantage of that, grilled out also. Well-known Cane Bay is very near along with eateries, basically a magnificent time we had! Chris the owner and Samantha the manager were fabulous, so easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any questions we had. And Samantha is very willing to meet you at the airport and take you to the home, as it is a bit difficult the 1st time to understand directions. We would recommend this home to anyone looking for a magnificent stay in St Croix!

Great House for Friends Winter Getaway

Our stay was wonderful and relaxing. The house was nicely situated on the north shore in between Frederiksted and Christiansted. The area was quiet and peaceful, with the ocean just a few steps away from the house. Incredible views from every room in the house. We appreciated the house being well stocked and the "use whatever you want" concept, which helped us avoid having to buy small amounts of items. The beds were super comfy, towels and linens top notch. We never had a worry about security and the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. The owner and property manager were very helpful and responsive, giving us great recommendations for dining and activities. We did a lot of scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming. We did swim in front of the house, when the surf allowed. The wall is not far with a dive buoy in front. We did a sunset sailing cruise out of Frederiksted which was so fun, also diving at Cane Bay and the Frederiksted pier. And if you're able to get up early, don't miss sunset at Point Udall! All in all we had an incredible stay at this very well-appointed, easy-going property. We hope to return!

Unbeatable home, amenities, host, and location

Perfect location on the north coast, midway between east and west points, you feel like you are on the ocean, not just beside it and the views are unbeatable from every room and every deck (there are four very comfortable outdoor hang-out areas), with ocean out front and mountains out back. Very private but very safe location, I had no concerns about security. Kitchen is really well stocked, beds are very comfortable and bathrooms good, and decor all around is beautiful. AC and ceiling fans are fabulous, electronics/TV for movies excellent. Christie the host has thought of everything that you might need from beach equipment, good snorkel gear, life-preservers, to band-aids for that cut, extra lotions, shampoo, flour, pancake mix, laundry supplies, welcome wine, and spices, and provided it, and it really makes all the difference, not having to buy them, bring them, or do without. The vibe is fantastic and we did many of the activities Christie recommended once we'd booked, and loved them. On my first night I sat in the hot tub and noticed the ocean was glittering in front of my eyes - it was bioluminescence in the crashing waves and on the rocks - truly stunning and unexpected (we also kayaked in the bio-bay which was fantastic fun). Could not have been happier with our stay, the home, our host, the manager, and we have recommended the place to friends and extended family.

North Shore Private Getaway Paradise!

My husband and I chose this property because of several factors related to location. The North Central location, access to great diving and snorkeling locations, and of course because it is right on the water. We dove with Sweet Bottom, which is located just down the road. They were great to work with especially Jessica and Chris! There are several places to eat and get a beverage on the water close by. My favorite was AMA. I can't say enough about the location, you can constantly hear the waves even with the doors closed and A/C on. We saw several interesting fish and even a shark from the deck. Having both decks, one on each side of the house, there was always a place to sit in the shade. The hot tub, I thought would be too hot, but we turned down the temp a bit to 96 and it was very enjoyable at the end of the day. The house was very comfortable and fully stocked with anything we needed. Christie, the owner, and Samantha, the property manager, were accommodating before and during our stay. They were very responsive to our questions and needs. We like to cook and when you have the privacy and view a property like this has, it is nice to have a fully stocked kitchen and nice deck to enjoy! We will definitely be back! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Gem of the North Shore

This was our 3rd stay at this property and as before, it was amazing. Let me take a minute to describe the amenities which truly take this place to the next level. Most places say things like AC and Internet. Turns out that they can claim AC by having a window unit in a 10000 sq ft house and internet can be available but not usable. This property has great AC. They have good splits in both bedrooms and one in the downstairs unit and they also have a high-end split to cool the great room which is rare for houses on the island which means you can cool down the whole house if necessary. They have great internet service (I was getting 100Mb down and 35Mb up), they have backup solar power, there are nice TVs in every room, and they have a great DVD collection. The kitchen is well stocked with good appliances and all of the necessary amenities to do your own meals or you can walk to 5 good food/drink places (Rowdy Joe’s, AMA’s, Off the Wall, Spratnet, and The Landing). There is a great outdoor area with multiple seating options and a hot tub. Great balconies to watch full moons and sunsets and a telescope to boot. They have all kinds of play gear like masks, snorkels, fins, beach towels, kayaks, etc. The list goes on and on. If you don’t give this place a try, you will be missing one of the best times on the island.

Excellent House & Location. The Only Place You Should Stay in St Croix!

We had an amazing stay at Christie and Conway's property on the North Shore of St. Croix. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. They even provided a personal escort to the house for part of our party who arrived late at night and left us with a little rum and milk to settle in. The property itself was exactly as described and pictured on the website - clean, well-maintained, and with beautiful ocean views from every room. The kitchen was well-equipped and we had everything we needed to cook, even making a delicious barracuda ceviche with a catch from our charter boat trip. The beds were extremely comfortable and we all slept well during our stay. The outdoor decks were the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the views, with pelicans diving and whales and rays occasionally passing by. We also made use of the hot tub and hammock to fully unwind on our vacation. During our stay, we had a small issue with one of the microwaves in the downstairs suite kitchen, but Christie and Conway quickly provided us with a replacement. Their customer service is impeccable. Their book of recommended activities and restaurants was also a great resource and helped us make the most of our time on the island. Overall, our experience at Christie and Conway's property was fantastic. The weather was beautiful and we were able to fully relax and enjoy our vacation. We would not hesitate to stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting St. Croix.

North Shore Diamond

My wife and I are frequent visitors to St. Croix and frequent VRBO'ers. We have a few spots that we frequent on St. Croix and we prefer the North Shore. This was our first stay at this property but it will definitely not be our last. The property was very well maintained, the amenities are top notch (internet was 150/30), TVs and entertainment options good, kitchen appliances are fantastic, washer and dryer are high end, and the owner's and manager's communication is superb. The layout is perfect as the main floor has the great area in the middle (kitchen/den/common area) and large bedrooms and private baths on either side which is perfect for 2 couples (or kids :-)). There is also an entire apartment downstairs as well so it is truly great accommodations for 6 friends if needed. The property literally sits on the North Shore and you can sleep to the sound of waves. The AC units work great and they even have a large unit in the common area that will cool it down as well which is not that common in other higher end houses on the island. The yard offers some great places to enjoy the outdoors (well kept hot tub) and there are also balconies attached to every room. Parking is also good which again is a blessing on the North Shore. Close to Cane Bay and some great food spots. If you don't rent this place, you are missing out on an amazing opportunity to enjoy the island with all of the creature comforts of a well maintained and superbly furnished property.

Beachfront! You cannot escape the sound of the ocean waves, and why would you want to. We chose the north shore because it is centrally located between Christiansted and Fredriksted. The laid back vibe, recreational opportunities and restaurant choices make it an ideal location. If you want to relax, play, eat out or dine indoor or outdoor, the choices are all yours!

Property is quiet and private but close to Cane Bay amenities. Lay out in the hammock on the edge of the ocean, hang out in the outdoor spa, or patio lounge chairs. Or dine one of the upper decks or enjoy a cocktail on another deck both overlooking the ocean for beautiful sunrise and sunset views! Watch the aquatic life as they meander by. Occasionally a boat will pull up to a buoy off shore north of the house. I love watching the sailboats as they glide by toward the setting sun. What’s not to love about this beachfront home?
