This suite is a 2 bedroom with one Queen-size bed and 2 twin TempurPedic beds with custom made bedding and window treatments. A full kitchen & living room with electric fireplace and desk. Spacious bath with standard tub/shower. Washer & dryer in suite.

We want your stay to be as relaxing and comfortable for you as possible so we offer many amenities. ***please note this property is above our event hall and could have events during your stay that could have music or loud entertainment til 10:30pm. The squirrel sculpture was a useful landmark in finding the place. Maybe tell future guests it across the street from the large squirrel sculpture. Did not need or try to find air conditioning or laundry during my trip.

The apartment was a little dusty and the dishes from the previous occupants were still in the dishwasher. The location was convenient and the overall stay was good.

This stay was very convenient for us and located in a cute little historic downtown area that was an easy walk away. However we did have some concerns with the cleanliness of the space as there was caked on dust on fans, over vents, and on the entryway leading to the space. We also had an issue with the bathtub not draining unless you held down the difficult to push lever at the bottom of the tub which made for very uncomfortable and unsanitary shower experiences. Additionally, we were not informed that the area we parked in would be blocked off for a special event Sunday so we could've been stuck there had we not heard from a local that we needed to park elsewhere. Overall we got what we needed but wouldn't rebook.

This was a great location. Easy to get everywhere. Beautiful town. As for the apartment. When you come in stairs going up are dirty. Apartme t was very dusty. Ceiling fans look like they havent been clean in years. Dust under everything. During our stay there was a party in the event center downstairs. The entire apartment was shaking with bass becaue there was a DJ. It was impossible to stay so we left to go eat and there were people in front of event center smoking weed and counting large stacks of money..not sure what that was about. I contacted host and she reminded me in description that there could be loud events. So if you decide to stay here make sure theres no events. Place needs to be updated and thoroughly cleaned.

There wasn't any laundry service at all. There was a laundry room with a washer and dryer BUT it doesn't work. I hope the host get it fixed. Please tell your clients the washer/dryer is out of order.

Awesome location in small town

Came in for a wedding. This property was in an amazing little town that felt like a movie set. Good coffee and wine 200 feet out the front door. And not a long drive to downtown if you need to get there

Lovely Village Hideaway

I was there for 6 months. Wonderful people, property and location. I will definitely stay again if the need arises. I stayed during a long transition from one residence to another. Great little village. Shops and restaurants within steps!

Nice location with good dining nearby. Place could use more TLC. Burned out lightbulbs, messy kitchen, missing basics in the kitchen - dishtowels, napkins, kleenex, good fry pans, etc. Has the potential to be really special with a bit of attention. Be sure to check with the owner about any parties planned in the party room below this apartment during your stay as its extremely noisy if something is going on. Otherwise very peaceful and quiet.

Marvelous Gem

We enjoyed staying at this amazing apartment located in lovely Glendale, Ohio. We had plenty of room to include a spacious kitchen, living space, and bathroom. It was clean, cozy, and quiet. The trains were actually nice to hear quietly in the distance. When we visit the area again, we will definitely rent this space.

Glendale vintage 2-bedroom apartment

Our family appreciated the 2-bedroom setting, with full kitchen, large bathroom, living room, washer/dryer, central AC, and convenient location in the quaint town of Glendale. It's surrounded by beautiful, many historic homes, restaurants, the historic train station/museum, and stores. Below is an event space, but they usually finish by 10 or 11 pm, so it wasn't an issue. There is parking in the rear of the building as well as in front for unloading. You do have to climb stairs to reach the apartment. This was our 3rd time staying here while visiting friends and family in Cincinnati and we really like it.

When we arrived, at first glance everything looked as pictured. Unfortuatly there was someone else's stuff in the unit. I reached out to the host & she was very quick to respond and provided the solution. Turns out the incorrect checkin information had been provide to the other person. Ashley offered to move us to her other unit or ask the other person to move back to their original unit. Due to not wanting to make a fuss, we agree to move to the new unit. Ashley texted me check in instructions for the new unit & we were able to get checked in. The unit we were moved to (and is reviewed below) is as follows: "Newly renovated Home in Charming Glendale" and is owned by the same host. The unit was sparse - minimal seating, dishes, and pillows. Generally dirty with dist, dead bugs in windowsiles, many dirty dishes, and stained towels and linens. Beds were comfortable. No central air, but window units and radiators which did work well.When looking for places to stay, we had reviewed both listings, but ultimaly booked this listing due to better reviews & improved ammenities despite the more expensive cost. Due to the double booking, we were moved to the unit linked above. I have reached out to the host for assistance with no repsonse. Vrbo customer service says this was a vilolation of policy. At this time, would NOT reccomend staying with this host. Communication day of check in was great, but it has been radio silence since then.

This property has such potential, but for me it was not a good experience. The host communicated in a timely way until arrival day. In the morning I asked for checkin details and was told I wouldn't have them until 3:00 for a 4:00 checkin. At that point I had no address. Finally at 3:50 the information was delivered to me indicating that checkin was 5:00. So confusing!The stairwell leading up to the suite was filthy - piles of mail, thick dust and debris along the steps, and a dusty vacuum left in the hallway with a broom and dustpan.The suite was more of the same: weeks of dust on all the tables and dressers, food splatters on most all the cabinets, appliances and kitchen walls. Greasy grime mixed with dust on windowsills and baseboards. No dish towels, no rags to clean. I spent the first two hours scrubbing with bath towels in order to feel comfortable using the kitchen. Thermostat had a battery-notice displayed and a lamp had no bulb. The toilet was phantom-flushing for two days.I reported my complaints to the host within an hour of arrival, including a request for rags to clean the kitchen. I got towels and the battery replaced the next morning. The light bulb came almost 24 hours later. Late on day 2 I encountered a man struggling with the combo to get in the main door. It turns out he was a cleaner and needed the vacuum that I had taken into my unit. He was only there to clean the event room downstairs, and the stairwell remained filthy.Such a shame.

When we arrived, it was exactly what we thought it was, until I really started looking around. Thick dust on all of the light fixtures, bedroom tables, ceiling fans, etc. Black, thick dirt from hand prints on the wall, and the stairs leading you to the apartment were disgustingly dirty. Ironically enough, there was a broom in the hallway, also collecting dust. The house was very kind, and answered all of my questions until the last evening. We had a baseball game to be at 35 miles north of the location at 8a, and asked for checkout instructions the evening before, as to get everything handled. Never received a message on what do for checkout. So we did what we thought and left. Still have received nothing from them, not even a thank you for renting the property. The location was great tho. Right in middle of an older established community with a few local restaurants, pubs, etc. Very nice area and very nice people!Overall, for the cost of the rental, and experiencing the local area, we enjoyed our stay. But, I would probably not stay here again.
