Our group consisted of two families with children ranging in age from 16 to almost 18 months. There is a stair case at both ends of the house, connecting to the upstairs. Upstairs the hallway has a set of stairs on both ends (really cool, but a bit of a challenge with a toddler who loves to roam.) It didn't look like the stairs, up or down, would support a standard baby gate. The stairs connecting in the kitchen had a door, so that was nice. We did bring one standard baby gate with us but weren't able to use it because of the way the stairs are.The floorboards upstairs were very creaky as well. With a house of this age, it isn't unexpected, but it was commented on many times by multiple people. The dining room is WAY bigger than it appears and the tables separate for smaller dining, plus the kitchen has a small island and 4 bar stools for a more cozy eating atmosphere. It was all great for meals, playing games, etc. There is a shared driveway with the neighbor, but off-driveway parking comfortable for a couple vehicles. It was raining during our visit so we didn't explore it much, but it didn't seem like there was much of a yard to play in.Overall, we would definitely consider staying again. Check in/check out was very easy. The hosts were very responsive. It's a good house for families - enough space to spread out, but also enough space to gather. It was clean but also has a lived-in vibe, so we didn't feel on edge that something would get damaged.
