Wonderful location. The hiking trails were so convenient. The house was clean and fully stocked with what you would need. The carpet is clean but not pleasant to look at but that would not stop me from coming again. A bit on the pricy side for what you get- but you really can’t beat the location.

The location and setting was exceptional. The creek noise can be a bit much but you get acclimated after a couple of days. Well supplied kitchen. Upstairs is very cozy and the deck is very nice. Downstairs bedrooms and bathroom is a bit more utilitarian. Not very cozy nor comfortable. All the beds were uncomfortable for the 3 of us. There were a few maintenance issues that needed to be addressed but most were minor. Overall a good property to stay in Ouray.

Great property tucked away but really close to town. The sound of the flowing water right next to the house was amazing. The driveway was a little tricky but we were able to make it up with a large Ford transit. Would stay again.

This is an amazing location. The house was very clean and had all the essentials. The deck was perfect and where we spent our time when we weren’t hiking. The host was very responsive and helpful. We also received a visit from a cute little bear. I plan to make this an annual trip!

We had a wonderful week in this mountain getaway home. We even got to see a bear in our driveway one evening, and deer on multiple occasions. The sound of the creek right outside was like music to our ears. We got the best sleep ever listening to the rush of the water, and the beds were super comfortable. There were plenty of towels and the kitchen was well stocked. The scenery surrounding the cabin and Ouray in general was astounding, and multiple hiking trails were within walking distance. We look forward to coming back and staying here again.

You absolutely need a 4 wheel drive car if there is going to be any inclement weather during your stay. Getting up to the property could be stressful for people who are not used to navigating 1 car wide steep gravel roads with a hair pin turn. Overall the house was so cozy and inviting. There is a great fireplace in the living room, the sound of the creek in the back yard and a nice big kitchen. Bedding and decor could be updated for the price but it did not make my stay any less enjoyable. I saw deer wandering in the backyard which was AWESOME! I would definitely recommend this mountain cabin for your Ouray vacation!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay here very much. The house was clean and well stocked, but it was the location that we loved the most. Not only is the cabin itself in a beautiful part of town, overlooking the creek, with gorgeous views, but it is within walking distance to popular hiking trails. We'll be back.

Family Getaway
