You will enjoy expansive views of Puget Sound from nearly every room in this nicely furnished one bedroom apartment with approximately 900 square feet of living space. The apartment includes a queen bed, large flat screen TV with DVD player, newer stainless kitchen appliances, updated bathroom with travertine floor and natural cherry cabinets and newer HE washer and dryer. The kitchen is completely stocked with dishes, pots and pans, coffee make and stove-top espresso maker. You’ll enjoy easy access to I-5, downtown Seattle, Shilshole and Golden Gardens park and Carkeek park. Parking, laundry, utilities, Cable TV including HBO & Showtime and wireless internet included in the rent. Available for longer stays.

Amazing 1 bedroom flat

Clean and spacious with beautiful view

Sandra's place was so cozy, spacious, and clean. It was very easy to check in and check out, instructions were very clear. The space was exactly as described and pictured. We would definitely stay again.

Seattle get away

This property was well supplied, comfortable, quiet and exactly what we wanted for our stay in Seattle. Sandra was very responsive when we had a small issue with the washing machine and quickly resolved the situation. The view was beautiful. We will definitely stay here again. Rhonda and Randy

Great unit to relax and, enjoy the view of Puget Sound. Access to unit requires negotiating steep stairs that may present a challenge to the elderly

Quiet, clean MIL with water and mountain views

My husband and I rented this property for 2.5 years when we first moved to Seattle. The apartment was comfortably furnished and if anything was missing or we needed to borrow a muffin tin or kitchen utensil that was not provided, Sandra and George would lend it to us promptly! The property was clean and well-maintained, the yard was always taken care of for us to enjoy, and if there was ever an issue with an appliance, Sandra and George were easy to get in touch with and were very prompt about assessing the situation and making repairs. We absolutely loved renting from Sandra and we still keep in touch with them to this day! We would absolutely recommend this property to our friends/relatives and while we may only be 30 minutes away (only moved because we had a baby and needed more space!), we would even consider renting the property for a ourselves as a weekend getaway! We loved how close it was to Sunset Park, Golden Gardens and all that Ballard has to offer. We also loved how it stayed so cool in the summer without AC and nice and cozy in the winter.

Beautiful view

Sandra was most helpful during our visit. Her instructions were perfect and she made excellent suggestions for restaurants and walks. The house was super comfortable and the view is breathtaking. If you are thinking of staying here, you should!

Peaceful and beautiful !!

My husband and I loved our 3 night stay at this property. Sandra was so friendly and gave us great tips on areas to see. The area is peaceful and quiet. The views of Pugent Sound are amazing. We experienced incredible sunsets with beautiful after glows until well after 10:00 p.m. There was a lovely breeze despite the 90 degree weather that weekend. The area is close to all the fun and sites that Seattle has to offer. We highly recommend!

Best of both worlds! Definitely made our visit extraordinary

Where to start? This was our first trip to Seattle and we were torn between staying in the city and staying someplace that gave an amazing view of the sound. This location was the best of both! We were ~7 miles from the city center, a super easy drive, and the views, oh the views. We had everything we needed and Sandra was amazing with recommendations on places to go. We did not leverage public transportation but easily could have. Absolutely wonderful location. PS - keep an eye out for bald eagles flying over and an ear out for seals barking in the bay 💖

Fantastic!

I loved my weeklong stay at this property. It is a well-managed property, and I felt comfortable and safe. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and the knives were actually sharp, which was a real treat given my love for cooking. I would definitely consider staying here again. The property owners were kind and responsive.

Beautiful view and convenient location

This property was conveniently located within similar travel times to all the places we planned to visit while in Washington; it is well kept and the hosts were nice and friendly. However, it’s important to mention (as the property description doesn’t include it) that this apartment is right below the owners’ home so you’ll definitely hear them walking around their house (which can wake you up very early in the morning) or see them in the garden and driveway. Overall I think is a good place for a quick vacation.

Book now…you will not be disappointed!

The property was perfect for our needs with an incredible water view! It was clean and modern and more than plenty of room for two people with ample closet and dresser space to unpack and stay awhile. You have access to a spacious grassy backyard and spectacular views! It was an easy drive from the airport, ferry terminal, and downtown Seattle yet you feel very far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Sandra and George could not be more hospitable and welcoming. Don’t hesitate to book a stay at this comfortable and cute unit! You will not be disappointed!

Gorgeous View!

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed! Lovely patio with an amazing view. Great location, we could bike from the apartment easily through Golden Gardens to Ballard and cross the locks to Magnolia and Downtown Seattle. Sandra and George were lovely hosts! Will definitely stay again our next trip to Seattle!

Excellent and lovely in North Beach

We arrived at a perfect time to enjoy the beautiful view from this place. The backyard felt both open with the view but also private. The inside of our apartment was the nicest VRBO we have ever had. It was wonderfully clean, very comfortable, with full kitchen, nice size bedroom, lots of storage for our things, great shower and bathroom space. It was in a neighborhood that was both interesting and beautiful for walking. The location was convenient to stores,parks, restaurants and an easy drive to downtown. I can not recommend it more highly!

Quiet location with view

Quiet location with a great view. Perfect for what my husband and I were wanting. The pathway to the stay is very well lite. We were supplied with many kitchen supplies and towels for use during the stay . The location is within minutes to many restaurants, grocery, and downtown. Great spot for couples to stay.

Great propert.

Very nicely furnished. Fully equipped. Beautiful view of Puget Sound from the backyard. Located within easy drive to waterfront, downtown, city parks, restaurants, and stores. We would happily stay here next time we’re in Seattle.

Beautiful view

This is a 1B/1B home. The owners live above but that is not an issue. They respect your privacy and you don't know they are there. I think that's important for people to know from the onset. The home is lovely. The lake view every morning was so beautiful and relaxing. We had visits from 3 sweet cats. They ventured into the backyard but left us alone. Ok, I am an animal person so IF you chose to pet them you could. (In my case only one permitted the pats) The place is well stocked. I like that they encourage recycling and composting! The place is so quiet and relaxing and close to Golden Garden Park. We had a wonderful stay.

Outstanding view, comfortable stay

This was just the place we needed with a view that can't be beat! It is quiet, just the right size, with bald eagles flying by and a sunset to end a tranquil evening. And great coffee and food right down the street. Hosts were very accessible, kind, flexible and accommodating.

A Gem in Ballard

The location, view, and comfortable back yard made our stay memorable. We saw a family of raccoons and many cats in the yard as well as beautiful views of Puget Sound day and night. The weather cooperated so we saw the mountains, stars, and sunsets. The apartment is modern and comfortable. I had a mishap with the bed and the owner was quite gracious about the whole thing. Thanks for a lovely stay!

George is one of the few true Seattlites - born and raised on Queen Anne Hill. Also, born and raised in Washington State, I've called Seattle home since 1988 and couldn't imagine living elsewhere. We are both in real estate and love selling homes throughout our beautiful region.

The North Beach neighborhood of Seattle is a quiet gem. Close to parks and the restaurants of Ballard, but far enough away to be nice and quiet. The apartment is the lower part of our home, with separate entrance. Guests love the views, quietness and close proximity to everything our city has to offer.
