Fripp Island er en naturelskers paradis med en smuk, sandet atlantisk strand & miles cykel- og vandrestier. Naturelskere har ikke brug for deres kikkert, da hjorte, fugle og andet dyreliv kommer med på jeres daglige gåture. Op til et lidt mere eventyr end det? Lej knallerter, cykler og vandfartøjer i lystbådehavnen.

Vi har været Fripp Island-elskere og husejere siden 2001 og vil med glæde hjælpe dig med at planlægge din Fripp-ø-ferie. Vi er også medlemmer af Fripp Island Club - en privat landeklub, der indeholder flere puljer, restauranter, to golfbaner, tennisbaner og planlagte natur-, social- og håndværksaktiviteter for alle aldre. Fordi vi er klubbmedlemmer, er adgangen til denne klub (til køb) tilgængelig for lejere af dette hjem.

Relaxing Stress Free

I loved the location it was easy to get to the beach and pools. The house was very nice and I felt we weren't cramp with such a big group that went!! Bertha was very excellent and helping me giving me and answering alll questions I had!!! I would definitely be booking again with her!!!

Fripp Trip

We had two families with 7 small children. The house was more than spacious for us all and the beach access proximity was perfect — short boardwalk and less then 50 yards to the access point. Tons of dining and kitchen space which made having multiple families over to eat no problem. Lots more could be said, but in summary we have made yearly trips to Fripp and this has been the BEST location to stay so far !

Grandsons adventure

Our grandsons help their parents with their farm and cattle, so all of them can’t get away at the same time. So we try to get them out and about. They loved the freedom of being in a secure community. Beautiful!

Perfect Family Stay

This home is spacious, comfortable, and clean. Lots of beds, big bathrooms, and a great basement with TV and Foosball so you can exile the kids for a while! It’s steps from a beautiful, wide, sandy beach. You see deer in every yard and alligators in every pond! Such a cool place. We came down for our son’s USMC Boot Camp graduation. Even with a 45 minute drive to Parris Island, it was perfectly suited for that! We will be back to Fripp Island soon…and will stay here again! Berta is very responsive and helpful!

Excellent Location

Bikini Bottom is a fantastic home on Fripp Island. It is even nicer and bigger in person than the pictures show. Everything was clean and very comfortable. We had 2 families sharing the home and there was plenty of room to spread out. The location to the beach is wonderful. It was nice to be able to walk back and forth from the beach to the house without having to load up the golf cart each time. We've been going to Fripp for many years and this is our new favorite home. Berta is very good with communicating and responding. Can't wait to go back!

Great space and location

This house worked out great for our family group of 8 people who stayed in the home and another group of 4 who stayed in a nearby condo. The house was clean and very spacious with enough room for all 12 of us to eat together and visit together in the bright, airy living/dining area. It definitely has an island vacation feel to it, especially with all the blinds open. We were surprised by the privacy and space afforded by the downstairs area which is like a separate little apartment. It was nicer and larger than it appeared in the photos and the laundry area and storage space was great. There were fans in the bedrooms which is nice for people who like "white noise" at night or who want to sleep in later than others. We also really enjoyed the breezes on the deck. (we had perfect weather the whole week with low 80's temps and low humidity) and the close access to the beach. We found the house to be adequately furnished for large groups and there was a nice selection of cookware and cooking supplies, dishes, etc. All the appliances worked fine and we really enjoyed using the large gas grill. This was our 7th trip to Fripp and we have stayed in more luxurious and updated homes there, but we thought this house was a great value for the location and space provided. (We were able to travel in May before the rates went up for summer.) We found the manager to be very pleasant and easy to work with. We love Fripp Island! We would recommend this home for larger families or groups who want lots of space and light with close beach access for a very reasonable price.

Broken down!

The location was great and the king size mattress slept good. However, the dishwasher and the garbage disposal didn't work from day one. There were two golf carts but only one key. Neither golf cart would stay charged for more than an hour, if that, so we had to use our cars to explore the island. There was no broom in the house for us to sweep. The outlets didn't work so we couldn't use our curling irons or straighteners to get ready. The washing machine worked great but the dryer would have to go through three cycles to get the clothes dry. The kitchen is well stocked. It could be a really great place to rent but it really needs some TLC!! There's a great balcony off the master bedroom but no furniture on it so you can enjoy it. There were towel bars off the walls in the down stairs bathroom. A cabinet door missing off the kitchen cabinets. I also killed 5 roaches in the living room and kitchen while we were there. It was not very relaxing having to constantly hand wash dishes all while the sink was backed up because of the clogged garbage disposal. We love Fripp and will return next year just won't return to this home. I'm not trying to offend Berta but this house shouldn't be rented again until all these problems are fixed!! We were 40 mins late checking out due to all the broken down things that we had to improvise on to get ready to leave.

This guest did call to report the dishwasher not running. I called the repair company, but with Fripp Island being as remote as it is, I was unable to get the repair company to the house before their departure. They did not report a problem with the garbage disposal until the end of the week and as soon as they called to report this, the plumber was there within 2 hours to fix it. It was overloaded and clogged with food waste. The guests did not report a problem with the golf cart until the morning of their departure. They were almost an hour late checking out which delayed the housekeeping staff, so I called them to see when they thought they might be leaving. They claimed they were late because the golf cart broke down. They had not reported any issues or problems with the golf cart prior to my call to them. The second of the two golf carts on site is an emergency back up cart and is stored in a private utility area that the guests do NOT have permission to access. This cart was NOT there for their use, nor was a second cart promised or offered with the rental. They did NOT HAVE PERMISSION to drive it that is why there was no key or charger provided for it. There is a vacuum cleaner kept in the laundry room for the guests to use, it can do pretty much any job that a broom will do. The only reports of damage/issues these guests made during their stay were the dishwasher (and I’m very sorry we were not able to repair it during their stay) and the garbage disposal (which was fixed within a matter of hours) and the golf cart (the morning of their departure). They did not report any other problems, if they had, these would have been addressed during their stay. I’m sorry these guests were not happy with the rental, we fixed both the dishwasher and garbage disposal as quickly as we were able to. We were not notified of any other issues or we would have taken care of them as well. I feel it is important to note-the guests the week prior to and just after this guest’s stay did not have any issues with the other items mentioned.

We visited Fripp Island for the first time in 2000. We came back a month later and bought our first home here. That is a 3 bedroom home on the Ocean Creek Golf Course known as Seaside Serenity.

Simply said, we fell instantly, head-over-heels in love with Fripp. In the beginning we lived on the East Coast and were able to spend a great deal of time here. Eventually we moved to the mid-west and that first home became a rental. I enjoy the rental business so much--especially introducing First Time Fripp Island Guests to Fripp that we have over the years purchased 3 additional homes. 18 years later I still love what I do and I still have several guests from those early years that return to stay in my homes year after year.
