Authentic Montana wilderness log cabin (pet friendly)

Get away to your own cabin in the woods. Moose and deer frequent the front pond. Walk the wooded paths , sit on a rustic swing by the babbling brook, enjoy an evening bonfire after an adventurous day exploring ski mountains, Visit national parks or Kootenai falls. There is a place for your horses and parking for trailers. Of course we would love to accommodate your fur family too. If you online order groceries we will pick them up and have them in the cabin when you arrive( just contact the host) spend a day exploring and want a bonfire to come back to? Contact the host and a fire will be going when you get back.. if a winter wonderland is your idea of fun. Two ski resorts within drving range. Local snowmobiling. Sitting in ice fishing shanty on one of the local lakes The bitteroot, ashley macgregor all within a short drive.

Cabin was well furnished, cozy, and in a peaceful location. Silas and Alexis were great hosts and very welcoming. We will definitely stay here again when we travel back for vacation.

This is the second time we have stayed with some good friends. We appreciate that the hosts are pet friendly. Given that I am impressed with the cleanliness of the property. We will likely return next year.

Property was wonderful. Saw deer in the yard every day. The pond, fire pit, walking trails and visits from Sundance and Doc (the horses) were a great way to relax after a busy day of sightseeing. Alexis and Silas were very responsive to text messages. The cabin was centrally located to all attractions.

The property seemed to have a minor problem with pests (mice?) as a banana that was left on the kitchen counter was partially eaten. We also found signs of termites. And lastly, it would have been a little nicer if the bedroom upstairs had had some sort of door as sounds and light from downstairs carried up. But otherwise, the stay was pleasant, and the horses were a kick. They came over to check us at a whistle and loved the apple and carrots we gave them!

So sorry about your food being nibbled. We have never had mention of that before. We did put several traps out often you mentioned the situation and did catch a mouse. We will continue to do this. Thank you for mentioning the small amount of saw dust you observed by the front door. Boring insects are something we naturally try to prevent with orange oil. Also, apologize for the sounds and light that filters to the upstairs bedroom. We try to make sure pictures clearly show no door is on that room. Hope you enjoyed your welcome gift.

This is an amazing cabin and highly recommended! We stayed for a week and loved staying there. The cabin is an authentic Montana experience. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all updated, clean and nicely decorated. The living area and kitchen have all the amenities for a comfortable stay and the gas fireplace was definitely used after a day of hiking. The cabin is on a wonderful property with wildlife and horses. The owners clearly strive to make guests feel welcome and promptly answer any questions. It’s a scenic and easy drive to Kalispell. We’ve stayed in many vacation rentals and this is definitely one of our favorites!

The cabin is beautifully and thoughtfully furnished with everything needed. Hosts were friendly and engaging. The deer and wild turkeys were entertaining to watch. Ample parking for our travel vehicles. An amazing place to stay. Very dog friendly too!

Excellent cabin

We loved our stay in Marion. The hosts were amazing and accommodating. They gave us fresh eggs for breakfast and offered to make a fire and smores for us. Our time in Montana was so amazing.

Tranquil home away from home

We enjoyed every detail of this well stocked cabin. The quiet property was exactly what we were hoping for. Hosts are exceptional. We will be staying here again when we are visiting family nearby again.

Such an amazing spot in MT

Place exceeded expectations, every you need to cook, play games, BBQ, sit by the pond and just relax. Beautiful horses to say hi, Silas was so great and made us feel at home. Coming back next year!

Wonderful place to stay in Marion. Host we’re both excellent to work with. Very clean and well stocked cabin. Quiet place to rewind after hiking and touring the mountainside. Quick trip to Kootenai Falls, Libby, Glacier and Fernie British Columbia. Bring your passport, worth the trip across the border once you get enough of Glacier.

Amazing little cabin, beautiful environment and near of Glacier National Parck. The owners are very attentive. For sure we will repeat the experience again.

Beautiful Montana cabin with everything we could have possibly needed. The bed was comfortable. The fireplace in the living room was great. There are horses on the property nearby that we were able to feed and pet. This was the perfect place to stay. We couldn't have asked for more.

Cabin Getaway

We had a great stay at this cabin in Marion. Very close to Little Bitterroot Lake - which was ideal for us! Our 4 year old loved reading the children’s books on the book shelf and we loved how comfortable everything was. We were impressed how cool the cabin stayed in the warmer weather without AC. The cabin also had great amenities available!

Out in the woods

The owners were super helpful and came and got us when we were lost ( We got in super late.). It’s a beautiful, cozy cabin in a wooded area and would be an ideal place for someone who wants to enjoy nature and get away from the hustle and bustle.

Beautiful property with a comfortable cabin

Our stay was excellent. The location is exactly as described. It was quieter than we expected and we really loved the outdoor areas. Walking trails, a picnic area, a fire pit with outdoor furniture but our family’s favorite was the horses that we got to feed treats everyday. The cabin itself was cozy and comfortable with all of the amenities you could think of. The hosts were responsive and made us feel welcome.

Paradise

We all enjoyed the cabin very much! The log cabin is so cute with everything you need. The hosts were great and joined us at the camp fire. The setting is just beautiful with the fire pit and the fountain lit up at night. We were there to visit Glacier National Park for Labor Day weekend and wished we could have had more time with host. Highly recommend!

Overall fantastic! The VRBO Photos do not do the property justice. It exceeded expectations!! Wish we would have been able to stay a couple more days. Silas and Alexis have put in the hard work to make it a top shelf getaway!

Beautiful (under stated) cabin

The listing and the pictures under state this property. By far the cleanest and best equipped rental I have stayed in. Everything from high end cookware to a very well stock kitchen with many extra niceties I would not have expected. The cabin is very nice with great finishes! We hope to have an opportunity to return!
