Relax at Union Utopia, our home in a walkable neighborhood near downtown Appleton and Lawrence University. Perfect for a family or several couples, this home has 3 bedrooms, each with a queen size memory foam mattress. The living area on the first floor is large and has a gas fireplace and cozy seating area. The kitchen is fully stocked and includes a gas stove and dishwasher. The second floor contains all 3 bedrooms, a beautiful 3-season porch, and recently remodeled bathroom.

MAIN FLOOR
• Includes kitchen, dining room, large living room, and half bath
• Stainless appliances including a gas stove and dishwasher for easy cleanup
• Cozy gas fireplace
• Toys and books for young children (located inside living room cabinet)
• Smart TV (BYO passwords/subscriptions)

UPPER LEVEL
• 3 bedrooms, full bathroom, and 3-season porch
• All bedrooms have queen beds with memory foam mattresses
• One bedroom also has a dedicated workspace
• The recently remodeled bathroom has a shower (no tub) and vanity with quartz countertop
• Perhaps the best part of the house, the 3-season porch on the upper level of the house is ideal for relaxing on a beautiful day

LOWER LEVEL
• Washer and dryer available in the basement. Detergent is provided, along with an iron and ironing board.
OUTDOORS
• The large driveway has parking for 4 vehicles.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Our home is walkable to several restaurants, a convenience store, and a few great parks. Here are a few of our favorites located within 2-3 blocks:
- Tom’s Drive-In: Hamburgers, cheese curds, and ice cream.
- Matteo’s: Our go-to for breakfast.
- Urban Modern Kitchen: Dinner and a cocktail.
- Kwik Trip: This is a gas station/convenience store with a nice selection of grab-and-go food or a handy place to pick up a gallon of milk and some glazed donuts.

WHAT WE PROVIDE
• Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are available in refillable containers as we do our part to help the environment. Guests are welcome to supply their own toiletries if desired.
• Laundry detergent.
• Coffee, creamer, and sugar are available, however we highly recommend checking out one of Appleton's local coffee shops like Copper Rock Coffee Company while you are in town.

LONG TERM STAYS
• Interested in staying for more than 30 days? Reach out for long-term pricing. Note that a separate lease may be required through our company, Home Base Rentals, to protect both of us. Stays of 30 days or more also have a cleaning fee of $225.

Pets are NOT allowed.

This house is located in a family neighborhood so noise level must be kept to a minimum. We also stay here often with our own children when we are visiting family in town. If you are looking for a party home or are disrespectful to other people's property, this is not the right place for you.

No check in/out on the following days: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day

Home away from home

This home was absolutely wonderful, unique, charming & cozy having everything needed for our stay. Location was perfect making it easy for us to get where needed without a lot of travel time. Very quiet neighborhood even though there was some construction during the day which didn't bother us as we were mostly gone at that time. Couldn't have asked for a more pleasant & easy host to work with than in Amy, most accommodating, pleasant & quick to return all messages. Great rental is very comfortable

Comfortable & convenient location. We visit Appleton almost monthly and try to stay at this rental each time. Plenty of towels, linens & very clean. Good neighborhood to walk & close to various restaurants & grocery stores. Highly recommend

Fabulous home and host!

My wife and I were thoroughly pleased with our stay at Union Utopia! The home was clean, tastefully decorated, and had everything you needed for an enjoyable stay. And, above all else, Amy was a superb host. We never met in person, but all of her communications conveyed a genuine concern that we enjoy our stay. We could not recommend Amy and Union Utopia highly enough!

Third time at Union Utopia

My family visits Appleton monthly and this is our favorite place to stay. The host is friendly, professional & accommodating. The location in a residential neighborhood is perfect & comfortable. Spotless home with plenty of bath amenities, towels, kitchen cooking necessities- all one would need. Great location for walking as there are sidewalks right outside the door. Only suggestion would be an outdoor gas grill. Thank again Amy!

Comfortable stay

Stayed with a couple co workers for a week of training in the area. Was a nice quiet area. The house had all the essentials everything was nice and clean. I would stay again.

Holiday Home….

We stayed at this property for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. We truly felt at home and so comfortable in this home. Not counting the awesome sleep we had. Beds were great and just the perfect size.This property is very unique and loved the decor. Our host made it extra special and had a 4-5ft’ Christmas tree with lights set up and turned on for us when we arrived. What a wonderful way to welcome your guests. We definitely recommend this property and host to all!Thank you Amy for making our Holiday truly special!Jeannie and Kevin

Home away from home.....loved it!

What an amazing and warm home away from home. We loved it! We chose this property due to the pictures and they were spot on. Very comfortable with all the amenities we could need. Thank you for allowing us to stay and give us a wonderful Thanksgiving with our family. We have another stay coming up at this property at Christmas time and so looking forward to staying there again. BTW....beds were super comfy as well! Comfortable and charming!

This house was just what my Mom and I needed for a short stay in Appleton. The home was stocked with everything we needed and it was charming and cozy. The owner responded very quickly when we had a quick question. We would definitely stay there again!

Appleton Packer Weekend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Utopia and would recommend it to all travelers. It was just a short 26 miles to Green Bay and after the game we were able to make it back to Appleton in 45 minutes. The area was very nice and the hospitality was welcoming.

Lovely home walking distance to parks

Nice home in a great spot. AC works great, kitchen is well equipped, and there are sufficient towels and what not. I particularly liked the beautiful hard wood floors.

Cute and charming little find

This old house has so much charm! We really enjoyed our stay in this quiet neighborhood. Many modern updates to the old house make it feel much newer but the old wood floors, doors and light switches show the true character. Quaint little sunroom to enjoy your morning/ coffee or tea outside was a nice bonus. The girls enjoyed playing games at night in front of the fireplace. The bathroom is not huge but it worked fine for us. Plenty of nice eateries close by as well as a grocery store. The Mall is only 15 minutes away for shopping. We look forward to our next trip and staying here again.

Lovely and relaxing

This home was so peaceful and the 3 season room was a lovely surprise. The seats in front of the fireplace are a great place to relax with a cup of coffee.

Great place to stay

Loved staying in this cute house. It was very relaxing and quiet and pretty central for everything we needed to do. The host was very responsive to any questions we had and gave great suggestions for things to do and places to eat. Would definitely stay again!

Welcome! Our family is so excited to host you! We LOVE to travel anywhere and everywhere. When our kids have breaks from school you can find us in Door County, Wisconsin, on a lake in northern Wisconsin, visiting family in Florida, or spending time in the Great Smoky Mountains. We enjoy going for bike rides, hanging out on our front porch in the summer, eating ice cream and spending lots of time with family and friends.

Character homes have a special place in my heart. This property has beautiful woodwork throughout the home and I love how spacious the living room is. My favorite room is the second floor sun room. It's the perfect place to relax on a nice summer morning. This property is also in the perfect location - it's centrally located in Appleton and just a short drive to Green Bay and Oshkosh.
