Short Drive to Trails, Secluded in the Hiawatha National Forest

White Pine Hollow is a cabin in the Hiawatha National Forest, just outside of Munising. The Isolated cabin sits on several acres with a path to a creek where everyone can enjoy peace and tranquility. This cabin sleeps 7 with a Queen bed in the loft and a bunkbed (twin & full size beds) in the downstairs bedroom. Open concept living area and kitchen. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room as well. Huge living room windows to watch wildlife that may cross through the property or to watch the snowfall during a cozy afternoon. Enjoy the newly built balcony from the loft area!

This home away from home has everything you will need for your stay other than your personal belongings. Fully equipped kitchen, linens, washer & dryer, dishwasher and Wifi.

Enjoy a fire outside with family and make memories that will last a lifetime. Tons of open space for your dogs. Please no more than 2 pets, call us if you have anymore questions about your pets. We do charge a $53/pet fee plus a one time $30 cleaning charge.

**PETS! Airbnb may only charge you for the 1st pet, you will be requested to send an additional $50 plus tax ($53) per pet. Our pet policy is $50/pet plus tax plus an additional one time cleaning charge of $30. If Airbnb does not collect this amount you are still responsible. We're respecting your pet, so please respect our pet policy. Clean up after your pet, please do not allow pets on furniture. Please keep kenneled if left alone. If your pet barks when you are gone, please do not leave it alone.

Had a great time here snowmobiling. We were able to ride right to the trail from the cabin. Definitely would stay here again.

Good location, not prepared for power outage

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was in a good location and relatively clean with exception of a squirrel that got in from the antic. The power was out for two of the four nights of our stay and there were no flashlights or backup power sources (no water or heat) and the property manager never responded to an inquiry about a discount for not being able to use any amenities for half of our stay.

We stay for 3 nights to go fishing. We seen a wolf the 1st night and 3 deer the 2nd night. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect getaway

The cabin was very clean and secluded. The beds were very comfortable and the cabin was a perfect fit for our family of five. The cabin is a short drive to the town of Munising and close to the lake shore and the hiking trails. Check in and out was very easy and we had a great stay. Highly recommend!

Clean, cozy, quiet

We LOVED our stay at this cabin. The kitchen is equipped with most everything you will need to cook. They have plenty firewood on hand. All of the furniture is super comfortable and clean. The fireplace outside is perfect to make some smores. There’s a laundry room onsite. The grill is ready to use. We ran out of propane and when we notified the owners, we were promptly delivered a propane tank! The fire stick on the TV was a nice addition as well. My only complaint is that the ladder for the bunk bed is not drilled on—which makes it unsafe for my 5 & 6 yo. The door on the second floor doesn’t seem to lock. Some might complain there’s not enough lighting but I feel it made for great ambiance. I would definitely book this cabin again and reccommend it to family and friends.

We loved it here! It was a very reasonable distance from Munising and Pictured Rocks. It was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

If you want to be secluded in nature, this is perfect!

You definitely won't be disappointed! We did the Pictured Rocks Boat Tour during our stay, which I would also recommend.

Great place for snowmobiling

Me, my Dad, and a friend stayed here for a 3 nights and had a blast…very comfortable place and perfect spot for snowmobiles. It’s right down the road from a trail entrance and it’s away from other houses. Will definitely be staying again!

snowmobile trip

A buddy and myself came up for the weekend and had a blast snowmobiling the local area. The house was perfect and actually bigger than we expected. Planning on bringing our familes up there next year.

Theres a pretty strong odor, guessing it's the water. Great fireplace but we didn't leave anything to get it started. We had a long day and went to the store for steaks and the grill seemed to have a gas leak and we couldn't get it working so had to bake the steaks. All that being said it's a great location and for the price its fair. Great value. I left early and woud not use again.

Cozy cabin in woods

This place was perfect for our girls trip with our dogs. Spacious inside and great outdoor area that is remote and perfect for enjoying. Fireplace inside was great since was not exactly fire outside weather. Would recommend and stay again! Love the deck spaces too, especially for star gazing.

Cozy Cabin

We loved this property for a short getaway. Very peaceful! We enjoyed cozying up in front of the fire stove and playing cards and battleship. We would definitely stay again! The only downside to this property was the sulfur aroma from the water, which we would assume is fed from a well in a location this remote.

This was a great cabin for us. Enjoyed our stay, wish we had stayed longer! The only draw back is the smelly sulfur water.

The fall colors were a great backdrop. The only suggestion is to bring your own water; the rental has well water with an odor.
