Perfect For a Romantic Weekend Away

This property was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary! The location is peaceful and quiet, and the cabin is beautiful. Such a cozy romantic feel. Loved the jacuzzi tub and outdoor hot tub! Perfect for a crisp fall evening.

Great as expected

The stay was short yet packed with enjoyment and relaxation, cozy little spot out of the way with great views and relaxing hot tub serenity! We will be back

Anniversary weekend

Great place to unwind, unplug, and getaway. We had a great weekend fishing and sitting around the fire and in the hot tub at night. So peaceful. The only thing we could hear at night were cows mooing!

The cottage itself is wonderful! The cottage is situated next to to run down properties! Going outside didn’t feel relaxing and refreshing. I felt like someone might be watching every move I make because of the neighbors close by.

Nice place

Very nice little cabin. The wifi works great. Hot tub was nice. Kitchen well stocked with cooking stuff. Only downfall is no tv. One could just bring a tablet and watch on it but we forgot. I just love the little bar too. Thanks for the snacks and drinks.

My husband and I had such a wonderful and relaxing weekend here! The cottage is absolutely beautiful—cozy, charming, and full of little touches that made our stay feel special. The jacuzzi tub was amazing, and we loved spending time in the swinging egg chairs under the house. The bedroom felt romantic and relaxing, with soft lighting and a warm ambiance. The kitchen was super cute and well-stocked with the basics, plus some thoughtful snacks and drinks. The only downside was that the pots and pans were very worn and could definitely use an upgrade. A small kitchen table would have been nice too. The living room was cozy, but I think it would feel even more inviting with a full-sized couch or a little sectional. The overall vibe of the cottage was modern with a cabin feel—very updated and welcoming. The outdoor space wasn’t quite what we expected from the photos. The backyard and dock didn’t have the same charm, and the privacy fence was damaged in spots, with some areas just covered by black tarp. The neighbor’s property next door is in rough shape, and while that’s obviously out of the host’s control, it took away from the vibe. The host was wonderful—checked in once by text and gave us privacy. The personal touches like tea candles, flowers, chocolates, and a handwritten note made us feel incredibly welcome. We had such a cozy and enjoyable stay and would love to come back again!

I’m also happy our check-in communication gave you privacy. I’m sorry the pots and pans were worn and that the outdoor areas and privacy fence fell short of expectations. We’ll look into replacing the cookware, evaluating a small kitchen table and a larger couch option, and arranging repairs to the fence and cleanup/improvements for the backyard and dock. I’ll also review the listing photos and description so expectations are clearer given the neighboring property.
