Leave the ordinary behind and go Gone Coastal! This fun, colorful condo at The Palms at Cove View puts you close to the beach and surrounds you with all the laid-back coastal vibes you've been craving. Inside, you'll find a bright, beachy space with a fully stocked kitchen, dining for 6, cozy living room with a futon-style sofa, TVs in both bedrooms, and even a wet bar for those vacation cocktails. The primary bedroom features a king bed, while the second bedroom has a twin-over-full bunk bed—perfect for kids or adults. Little ones will love the reading nook filled with toys, too!

Make the most of your stay with a private patio and access to the community pool. After a day of sand and surf, rinse off, grab a beach chair, and relax!
Beach day made easy: The attached garage is stocked with beach chairs and toys, so you can grab your gear and go. There's also a full-size washer & dryer for your convenience. Bringing your pup? No problem! Gone Coastal is dog friendly!

Whether you're planning a family beach trip, a friends' getaway, or a sunny snowbird escape, Gone Coastal is ready to make your Galveston vacation a whole lot more fun.

This property is convenient to any of Galveston's area attractions. Schlitterbahn Water Park, Moody Gardens, Moody Gardens Golf Course, putt-putt, fishing and the beach are all within a short walk or drive. You can also head east to do a little shopping in the Downtown Strand Historic District, visit art galleries, museums, or take in a live performance at The Grand 1894 Opera House or the East End Theatre Company. Numerous local restaurants offer various culinary delights and you are sure to find something tasty at almost every price point.

Home is pet friendly for up to 2 pets with approval, contact our office for more information. $100.00 non-refundable fee for the 1st pet and $50 non-refundable fee for the 2nd pet. Guest must contact our office prior to arrival to make arrangements for payment of pet fee and/or signature on a pet addendum. Pet vaccination/records are required. No cats allowed. All fees and services are subject to 15% tax.

There is a $40 resort fee which is included in the Admin fee being paid at time of reservation. There are 6 pool bands located next to the garage door opener. Please return them or guest will be charged $25 for each missing pool band. We welcome our guests and work diligently to make your experience memorable. However, we only rent to adults over the age of 25 and families. You must provide a valid state issued identification for all Guests over the age of 18.

Amazing lil place! Very clean, close to the beach and close to various restaurants. Location was very convenient! Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing rental

This property was amazing, it had everything you could ask for and more. It was a pleasure to stay here and I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Galveston.

Fantastic, clean and well stocked condo!

This condo was exceptionally clean and new, and it had everything you would need for a stay at the beach. It was well stocked with a great kitchen, plus many towels, beach toys, and pool toys.

We stayed 1 week for a dance competition: the home was very close yo the venue and the beach. My kids had a great time

Great for a family trip with young kids!

We loved our stay in Galveston and this property was perfect for our family of 4! The bunk room was a highlight for our kids- it was stocked with games, puzzles, and plenty of toys to keep them entertained during down time. Everything was clean and comfortable and the A/C was AMAZING! The only complaint I have is that the internet would not work. We spent most of our time at the beach though, so it wasn't a problem for us.

Pet friendly condo near the beach but with no internet access

The condo itself was nicely decorated and the location was great, located a short walk from the sea wall. It was also pet friendly, so we were excited to bring our 2 pups with us to Galveston. Unfortunately, our stay here was both frustrating and disappointing due to the fact that the internet never functioned within the condo. We had intended this trip to Galveston to be a working get-a-way allowing us to work remotely during the day and enjoy the beach in the evening, but we ended up having to go to a local coffee shop to be able to work remotely. We contacted the rental company on 4 different occasions during our stay and the internet issue was never resolved. The customer service by this company was the most frustrating as they stated they were not responsible for the internet outage and then stopped responding to my attempts to contact them. Be wary about renting with this company if you depend on having access to the internet during your stay!

Hi Taryn, we wanted to first thank you for being our guests and wished that your stay regarding the internet connection went far better than the issues you experienced. Internet connection has never been an issue here at Gone Coastal. We sent our maintenance technicians out several times to try to help during your time with us. One instance, our technician was at the condo for over an hour and stated wires had been completely moved around, leaving the orbi system completely disconnected which impacted the overall connection. The owners are now staying at the property , attempting to get connection back up and running. We try to relay to our guests not to move wires around, but we can't help what happens when guests arrive and start setting up. We are truly apologetic and understanding that you needed to work on vacation, and we give our best efforts to ensure our guests are provided with all listed amenities. However, we do not provide refunds for internet outages. Although we understand that answer was not exactly what any guest would like to hear , outages and disconnections do occur. We give our best efforts to respond quickly to guests who report an issue, but if the connection was never stabilized again after wires were moved around , we simple can't provide a refund for these types of instances. Internet connection was working during inspection and upon arrival and we gave our best efforts to meet your needs on vacation. After relaying to you all we could not provide refund for internet outages, we sincerely understand another phone call discussion was perhaps desired, however, we had already relayed all information to you and also provided you a respond in written form as well. We hope to earn your trust back with us and give us another shot at earning your 5 Star Review. It's disappointing an internet disconnection can knock our rating down to a 2 Star, when all else was well with your stay, but we understand the age we are living in and again are working with the owners to properly connect internet to prevent this from happening to future renters. Do Not go through Beachtime Vacation rentals

Galveston Island Beach Cove View Vacation Your Comments 1 day prior to arriving I was notified by the Beachtime Vacation Rentals owner Michelle (at 4:30 PM on Friday check-in Saturday,that the condo I had paid for sent all the documents required etc. DL's , Dog shot records etc. had a roof leak and the water went down the wall and cracked the ceiling and there was a large bubble on the wall in the living room. I did not have time to rent elsewhere, so the owner Michelle said she would find somewhere else for us to stay if we were not happy. We arrived after travelling all day and the smell of MOLD was awful, the crack in the ceiling was bad. we asked for the other place to look at it the next day and no one returned our calls. The next day Michelle called and said she had a place and that it did not have a dryer that worked and that we would have to pay more money to use the pool. SHe also said she would take 300 dollars off the price of the place we were in if we stayed. This is Day 3 of my vacation. We opted to stay, the place was not clean, bugs were everywhere and it was disgusting. Basically ruined our vacation.

Sharon, I'm very sorry to see your review as we worked diligently to resolve your problems. Unfortunately, it was out of our hands that due to heavy rains the unit had rain damage on one wall and a small portion of the ceiling. We notified you as soon as the storm had passed and our inspectors made us aware. We offered to refund your money or move you. At the time, after much back and forth, you decided not to do either in a joint decision made with your daughter. She even stated the smell was not something she noticed when you arrived, nor did our inspectors. We did offer to move you to a comparable 2 bedroom unit in the Maravilla. Unfortunately, many units do not have laundry within the unit, however, there was easily accessible laundry facilities on each level. The money for parking and pool tags is an HOA fee and not our fee so we have no way to waive that fee. We did credit you the $300 WE OFFERED on the very first phone call we made to you if you wanted to still come to this unit. At the time you told us you wanted to think about it and then later decided to come and we still made good on the $300+ credit. The bugs you mentioned were a couple of palmetto bugs which are common anywhere in Texas. The unit has regular pest control and other bugs were not a problem nor have they been a problem for other guests. We are sorry we were not able to make you happy even though we went above and beyond the normal concessions most rental companies would have made. I don't believe there is anything Beach Time could have done that would have changed the outcome of your review as you were upset from the time we placed the first phone call to you even though we (including the owner) tried our best to make this right for you repeatedly by offering discounts or to relocate you.

Good location to the beach. Comfortable stay in the house. Having a 5 year old, we were happy there were plenty of toys to keep her entertained. There is also plenty of beach equipment in the garage we were thankful for. The only complaint is that after a long drive and late check in, there was absolutely no starter toilet paper or paper towels. We had to scrape together what tissues we could from our truck from the drive down to use the restroom until we could go for supplies the next morning. Hunting around town at almost midnight for a roll of toilet paper wasn’t really an option. One roll of TP and/or one roll of paper towels would have been really appreciated! Overall a good place to stay, we would stay here again in the future.
