Welcome to the cozy and charming Kataluma Inn located in the heart of the pastoral Selle Valley.

Well appointed cabin/cottage, removed from it all, immersed in natural beauty and abundant wildlife, with easy access to endless N. Idaho outdoor recreation.

This quaint retreat is centrally located approx. 7 miles from downtown Sandpoint, the Schweitzer Mountain shuttle, as well as, public Lake Pend Oreille access.

Down the private driveway, you will find the welcoming covered porch, perfect for sipping a favorite drink and relaxing.

Stepping inside, the craftsmanship and character of the space will make you feel as though you've stepped into the pages of a familiar book.

You will find everything you need including a full kitchen, smart TV, dining area, full bathroom with in-floor heating, gas fireplace, BBQ, loft bedroom, fast WiFi, Etc.

Outside, cozy up to the wood burning firepit to take in the starlit sky.

Relaxing Getaway

What a great way to spend our 15th anniversary! The owners have thought of everything and created a very inviting and cozy space. We loved our time and hope to return!

Anniversary Getaway

This little cabin was the perfect celebration getaway for us. It was peaceful and serene. My husband was delighted to witness the deer frolicking in the meadow just after sunrise. We will definitely return.

Autumn Cabin Bliss

Location was excellent being about 15 minutes from town but also far enough away where you are tucked into the woods and away from any bustling roads where you can listen to the rustling of leaves from the wind and the rain bouncing off the leaves and roof. The stars are night at plentiful. The cabin was very cozy. My fiance and I were very comfortable with our two dogs (Aussie & Portuguese Water dog). Excellent modern touches with a rustic feel. Very picturesque.

Cozy Insta-Worthy A-Frame Cabin Getaway!!

9/17-9/22: We drove 650 miles to spend our 9yr anniversary at this cabin with our black lab, Kobe. The cabin has a very welcoming vibe that makes you NOT want to leave. So, we spent most of our time at the cabin relaxing. We enjoyed perfect fall weather by the campfire! Took the dog for walks on their nature trail; where we saw deer & turkey. The amenities are all there as advertised! Thank you for everything provided,(esp the firewood & coffee).

Vært: Tyson & Kendra Adams

Tyson and Kendra moved to Sandpoint, ID in 2019 but have called the greater Northwest home our entire lives and have spent years visiting this beautiful location. Our favorite things about Sandpoint are the access to the outdoors it provides. We love to Ski, hike, bike, and be in or around the lake as much as possible in the summer.

The design of this cabin began long ago in our imaginations but officially began to take form around 2019. We broke ground in the Spring of 2020 and put the final touches on it in the Fall of 2022.

Most of the building was done by Tyson with a construction background provided by YouTube “University” and a bit of trial and error. It certainly couldn’t have been done without the relentless support of Kendra allowing Ty to spend countless weekends and late nights “down at the cabin.” This project also would not have been possible without the dedicated support and help provided by our dads toiling away for only room & board (and time with the grandkiddos).

This space was created with the intention of providing guests a unique and cozy space; reminiscent of something you’d find in the pages of a favorite book. We hope you find this space relaxing and nourishing to your soul.
