This House!!! We were so excited to experience staying here and it did not disappoint. The views are spectacular and the pool was perfect for our family (4 adults, 1 toddler) with steps down to levels that our grandchild was able to navigate and enjoy. There is a projection tv with numerous channels that is easy to operate. The kitchen was well-stocked with the necessities and the pans were very nice quality. The bedrooms were light and airy and very clean. Communication to/from our hosts was very good. We rented a car on Vieques which was the smart move - once you get to know your way around, it’s pretty easy. I have to say, our favorite part of this house were the views and the pool - we had no need to go anywhere else. If we get to Vieques again - we would definitely stay here!!!

Nice and big house the pool was excellent.

Nice place to stay with a lot of private space. Great views of the town and the water confortable furniture to sit outside and look the sunset.

Great Stay!!!

The house was perfect for our needs (6 adults and one toddler). Terrific view, great pool, walkable to Isabel, great indoor and outdoor space. Highly recommend it.

Family vacation

We had a wonderful time ,,,the house was very comfortable for my family the view is breathtaking,, it was very quite peaceful neighborhood my only wish I could have stayed longer I would definitely recommend this house in the future

Perfect Stay in Paradise

This home was the perfect place for our week stay in Vieques! It was beautiful inside and out. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking our own meals. The location was convenient. Dennis was very helpful throughout, and Melyssa was available to answer questions during our stay. We are looking forward to returning.

Great experience

The entire family thoroughly enjoined our stay at this property on Vieques. Great views, close to town, close to ferry, support was fantastic while there. Looking forward to a return trip. Highly recommend.

School vacation get away

We stayed at the property with friends and family. This is a rare case where the house was actually better than advertised. The views are outstanding. We have been to Vieques 6 times and we this property is a stand out. Would definitely come back.

Time to relax.

We loved Villa Altimara! Our family of 5 had a great time on the island and got exactly what we went there for. We wanted to unplug, unwind and relax... We did just that. Thanks for a offering such a wonderful place for rent!

Awesome Christmas

Spent the holidays at Villa Altamira and loved it! Beautiful views which we stared at from the covered porch, even sat through rain showers. The pool was amazing and someone was in everyday. The beds are hard but that doesn’t even warrant one less star because everything else was great!

Villa Altamira Vieques

Mine was a three and a half week stay and my fifth at Villa Altamira. Melyssa and Hector are the caretakers and they are wonderful, helpful, friendly. The house, the pool, the view and the Isabel community and town are superb not to mention friendly people, cats, horses, chickens and dogs. Great restaurants and beaches nearby. Vieques is my favorite vacation spot. Thank you !

Excellent place and location!

We were a group of 10 and this property was perfect for our group. The view was spectacular! The living spaces were also very conducive for a large group. There was plenty of space outside on a nice covered patio for hanging out with a table and chairs enough for all 10 of us. The pool area was also an amazing feature! All beds were comfortable and everyone slept well. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful House

Perfect for a family who wants to go snorkeling/ sunbathing during the day and then comeback in the afternoon and spend time at the pool. The house have everything you need. If something is missing you just call and the housekeeper fix it in a moment!! We loved this house💛

Amazing view! Beautiful home and awesome pool!!

Great house! Everything you’ll need and so much more. Great rooms, beds, pool and style. And the top floor master suite? Amazing!! Property manager Melyssa was fantastic and always available. And the friendly and curious neighborhood roosters, chickens, cats and wild horses make your stay here truly special and, well, we just loved it!!

All that one needs to relax and enjoy a vacation!

Great property and house with all the amenities a family could need. House had wifi, beach toys, pool toys, snorkel, cooler, umbrella, beach chairs, PLENTY of beach towels, BBQ grill outside and more. Great stay and would highly recommend though would not consider it walkable to downtown Isabel. Property is up on hill and drivers are a bit crazy. ;)

Hi Marli, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We need to set up a fruit guide for the property so when particular fruits are in season guests can dentify them easily. The thick vines covering the front fence are passion fruit, the larger tree at the end of the driveway is a lemon tree, lime tree is at the east side of the property, bananas and yucca are next to the pool, and the large trees by the road are breadfruit's.We will continue to plant and improve the villa for your return.Have a wonderful Spring! This house is awesome

I can't say enough about the house and all the help Dennis was to us. Dennis was very helpful with providing info and was timely with all texts. We had 2 families at the house and it was perfect for us all. The pool was awesome and having a washer and dryer was great. We actually recommended the place to people we meet on the island, we will be back for sure.

The most amazing vacation we have ever had!

This house is everything you can possibly want and more! We had a long travel day and arrived somewhat disheveled and tired, but the second we walked into the house, those feelings were GONE! What an amazing place. The view is out of this world, the pool is perfect and there is nothing missing from this house that you may need. We agree that a car is needed to be able to visit the beaches all around the island, and the Bio Bay tour is a must! The caretaker was incredible and always very prompt to respond when I had questions. All in all, I highly recommend this place, and I hope to be able to go back again soon! We love Vieques!!!!

MOST INCREDIBLE VACATION !!!!

Thank you John and Karen for sharing your amazing home!! We couldn't have had a better experience. The house and pool were beautiful and peaceful and had everything to make the perfect vacation. There were 4 adults and 7 children and plenty of space for all. The decor and the outdoors and landscaping was so inviting we almost didn't want to leave the house. We cooked most of meals and kitchen was well equipped. The beaches were so beautiful. My favorite was Navio for body surfing the waves. Snorkeling was a hit with the kids. Our girls can't stop talking about how great it was! We hope to return someday soon!!

Beautiful View

We had a family vacation at Villa Altamira last week. It was perfect for six adults. Our young adult grandson enjoyed the down stairs with his good friend. The house had everything we needed for our stay. The beach chairs, towels and cooler really made our beach trips easy and fun. The beaches are great we really enjoyed the snorkeling. We enjoyed looking at the water and sky at night. The pool is very nice as well as the lawn furniture around the pool and porch. We enjoyed eating most of our meals on the porch. It was a plus to have a washer and dryer. You you do need a car to get to the beaches. We had a wonderful week.

Lovely!

We stayed in Villa Altamira this past week and we couldn't have been any happier with the home. At first, we were bummed not to be ocean front. As soon as we got to the villa and took one look off of the deck, we knew we made the right decision. This home has AMAZING views of the entire island and the house is so beautiful. We enjoyed the pool the whole week and made some fond memories here. John and Karen were very helpful throughout the whole planning and booking process which made us thankful. The property managers were also helpful and super friendly. Our overall experience was 100% positive. The only thing I would change is not staying longer.

Beautiful Property

Overall, the property was a decent fit for my family. Not worth the over 6,000.00 I paid for the week. In a decrepit neighborhood! The pool was the shining star of the whole place. The property is in need of some TLC. There are several areas in different rooms that had leaks constantly dripping which we had to keep applying paper towels to, These leaks seem to have been going on for some time as there is damage to the floor tiles.We were getting dripped on continuously in several different places. We bought several rolls of paper towels because of these leaks. Definitely not going back to this property.

Amazing views, outdoor space, comfortable vacation spot!

We had 2 adults and 3 teenagers on our trip and we all loved every minute of our stay at this property. The house was well equipped with coolers, beach chairs, towels and everything we needed in the kitchen to make some simple meals. The decks and pool area were amazing and we watched every sunrise and sunset from one of the comfortable outdoor spaces. Meylissa was extremely responsive and a great resource for help with transportation and any other question we had. The roads around the property are a little tricky if it's your first time to the island, but easy to navigate with 4 wheel drive (which you will want to get to green beach anyway :)) We would love to stay in this property again. Thanks for opening your beautiful home to our family.
