Island Girl er et smukt og behageligt poolhjem beliggende på North Shore af rejsedestinationen ø Vieques, PR. Huset ligger over La Chata-stranden, så se surfere, de bølgende bølger, eller bare lyt til de beroligende lyde fra havet. Selve huset ligger højt på næsten en hektar indhegnet fejende græsplæner. Med 2 soveværelser, der kan være king-size senge eller to enkeltsenge, en dronning sovesofa i medierummet, er der masser af plads til 6 personer. 2 badeværelser inde og et badeværelse og overdimensioneret udendørs regnbruser gør huset godt til indsamling og for privatlivets fred. To stuer, et gourmetkøkken og en rigtig spisestue! (usædvanligt for øhuse) gør dette hjem til et fantastisk tilflugtssted for venner eller familie! We’ve never received a 3 star rating. Disappointing. I’m sorry it wasn’t up to your standards. All issues were communicated thoroughly to the guest during their stay. One of the AC’s failed. Of course, this was not expected.

The house was immaculate and the property management responsive and personable. She walked us through the house and answered all of our questions upon arrival, which was so nice. There are Brita filters, so you can bring your water bottles. A large washer and dryer make laundry easy. We loved the pool and the sound of the ocean. It was a perfect stay.

Paradise at Island Girl

Enjoyed our extended stay at Island Girl and everything was perfect. The property is as described, and we had no issues whatsoever during our stay. We highly recommend the property for anyone looking for a relaxing, pampered vacation away from the crowds. Thank you Adalina for for being such a wonderful host. We hope to be back.

Wonderful

Wonderful accommodation. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Large pool, stocked kitchen, more than enough bathrooms…close to all. Quieter, north side of island close to beach on Atlantic. Private casita separate from the main house…the best. Thank you!!!!

Absolutely Perfect

This property exceeds expectations. The location is quiet, with great views. You can walk down the hill to a beach entrance where there is very little foot traffic. Great private pool with built in shaded areas. We traveled as 2 families, 4 adults and 4 kids, everyone loved the property and was sad to leave it. We would stay here again!

We’ve been to Vieques several times, this is our first time staying at Island Girl and we really enjoyed it. There were 8 of us. The space was well laid out so we didn’t feel like we were in top of each other. Our stay was long (10 nights) we did laundry, cooked many meals in, used the pool a bunch and loved hanging on the pool deck. The house was well outfitted with everything we needed including beach gear. The host was very responsive when we were having trouble with an ac unit and the internet and was able to fix it. There are mosquitos, especially in the evening, bring a good bug spray to maximize your outside time. There is a bit of rough road just as you approach the house, a high sitting rental car (jeep or bronco) makes that easier to navigate.

Return visit

This was our second time staying at the Island Girl.We love the location. The house was extremely well stocked and comfortable for our family of five grown children. We could hear the ocean from our bedroom in the casita. The only negative is that the kitchen is very small and has an old stove, but we stillcooked several meals and enjoyed eatimg by the pool.

Great house

We all loved our time here. Having private areas for each of 2 couples with a beautiful communal area outside was ideal. The only thing missing would be an ice machine or more freezer space for the bags of ice we bought. But the market was close by so it was easy to restock as needed. Vieques is a dream and Island Girl the perfect home base to enjoy it.

Island Girl

We had a very nice stay at Island Girl with plenty of room for our party of six to spread out. The property is lovely and is exactly as represented. It was very nice for everyone to have their own area—My parents in the upstairs, teens downstairs and my husband and I in the casita. My only suggestions would be to put together an online manual for the house and have at least one door with keyless entry. All of the doors are deadbolts that you must have a key to open from the inside and outside.

Great communication with Adalina. Hearing and seeing ocean is everything. Poolside pavilion has very comfortable couches so you can be outside no matter what the weather. Plenty of living space for reading, TV, napping etc. Very small kitchen but well stocked. Needs some updates—older upholstery in living areas, rugs thinning, water pressure in man units limited( great in master casita ) poolside lounges torn/ tattered and useless, outside lights by dining table not working so no night time dining. Mattress in bedroom by pool is three foam pieces. Be aware that pool is 6 feet deep everywhere— no shallow end( there is a bench in the water running the length of the pool) 3rd bedroom is open to living area limiting privacy. Our group of 5 would definitely go back. Many more plusses than minus. Ll

Wonderful North Shore Property

Surprisingly quiet for being in town. The sound of the waves at night was wonderful. The La Chata beach is in easy walking distance. We opted to sleep in the Casita to take advantage of the breezes. The layout would be excellent for 2-3 couples as there are three distinct living spaces, allowing for privacy when wanted. The pool is quite nice and there are shaded areas poolside for those who tend to burn easily. Both the owner, Kirk, and the property manager, Adalina, were very responsive and helpful. Adalina was there multiple times to get the Dish Network working (the fact that the house has satellite TV and not just streaming services is unusual in itself). She also brought by a new set of pots and pans because she didn't like the ones that were there. Overall a wonderful stay.

Beautiful pool deck, perfect location

Our stay at Island girl was lovely. The view is amazing, the pool area and casita are the best part of the property. The location is great with a perfect walk into town. The kitchen is SUPER well stocked making it perfect for cooking anything- there really is nothing missing that you’d need for prep. A few little hiccups along the way, the AC was out when we arrived and a toilet had to be repaired, we had to request toilet paper each time we were out. The check in process does not have some info like Wi-Fi, trash or when maintenance/service people come weekly- so we had to contact the manager fairly frequently. There are 2 property managers which was at times alot of people to text for a question. The property is large with multiple areas which is amazing. The casita is beautiful, the other bedrooms are inside the main home, one down a small spiral staircase so if any travelers have mobility issues or children that is something to be aware of. Overall a great home and great location!

Also, just to clarify that only one of the AC’s was out and all the WiFi and trash information is conveniently located in the listing. Isalnd Girl Paradise

What an amazing time we had at Island Girl. This was our second time staying at the property. 10 years ago, we stayed when it was Bravo House. We couldnt believe all the updates and additions made. The house was perfect. Two very spacious king suites (we took the casita by the pool) and another king bedroom in the main house. The house had every amenity you could possibly need for an island vacation - nicely stocked kitchen, beach chairs, coolers, floats, washer/dryer. Nayhomi, (house manager) was amazing. Walked us through where everything was and was a quick text away if we needed anything. We cooked breakfast at the house and late night snacks. Had amazing dinners at La Coqui, Loco Lobster and Blue Horizon. Spent our days exploring the beaches - the walk to Black Sand beach was so cool. Normally back at the house before dark to relax by/in the pool. There is a nice TV in the living area - we never used it. Loved being outside in the evenings. Highly recommend staying at Island Girl if you are in Vieques. It is truly PARADISE!!!!

Island girl

We thoughly enjoyed our stay at Island girl. The decor was beautiful and Ron was amazing helping us in anyway he could. This property is layed out in 3 separate areas , which is perfect for 3 couples to have their own space.. The use of beach towels, beach chairs and cooler was very useful. We look forward to staying there again!

Perfect home for a week in paradise

“Island Girl” is even better than it appears in the pictures. It is a spacious home (there were 5 of us and we never felt cramped), and the bedrooms were generous and gave us our own space if we wanted it. Almost every room in the house has a gorgeous view, and we especially enjoyed the view from the cassita looking over the pool toward the ocean. We loved cooking dinner and sitting out by the pool in the evenings. There is nothing quite like hearing the sound of the ocean, and enjoying the sea breezes, while the coqui frogs sing in the background. Waking up with the sun in the morning was wonderful, and you must enjoy a cup of Puerto Rican coffee under the cabana as the day begins. There are chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, and coolers for trips to the stunning beaches. Floating in the pool after a good day at the beach was really nice, and having an outdoor shower to wash off sand was a real bonus! There are also pool towels and all the necessary linens etc… that you need. The views are stunning and on clear days (which was daily for us) you can see Culebra and other smaller islands over the waving palm trees. Ron was very helpful and extremely responsive. He had great suggestions for restaurants and answered questions we had about the island throughout the week. If you want a home base for a relaxing week in paradise, you found it!

Breathtaking Views and Breezes

We have traveled to Vieques for over a decade and this was our first time renting this home. Its amenities were unparalleled and left us wanting for nothing. We had ample room to spread out and enjoy each of the spaces. Some of our favorites were the open air dining and seating areas and, of course, the luxurious casita. The home was perfect for our group of six and we highly recommend it to first time and returning visitors.

Best VRBO stay ever!

The property is very well laid out to provide separate sleeping spaces for 3 groups of people or couples. The house is well designed, and the living spaces and pool provide stunning views of the surrounding plants (palms and flowering trees) and ocean. It is just amazing. The house is very well equipped for cooking in the kitchen (if you enjoy that), entertaining, or just relaxing. The location is great. There is a small beach literally across the street (Las Piedras) that is a nice location for walks, bird watching, a little bit of tide pool exploration (snails and chitons were found) and occasional encounters with wandering horses. It also gives good access to the rest of the island if you rent a jeep (which I recommend highly). There is so much to see on this island that you can easily spend 2 weeks here and go to a different beach every day. Susan, the property manager, is also fantastic. She communicates well and takes great care of guests at the house. We had a problem with one of the locks and it was taken care of the next morning. I wish that I could give more than 5 stars, but I will just say that this is an amazing rental property. There is something for everyone here whether you are looking to gather with friends / family, have a home base for exploring, or just relax by the pool for a few days. It also provides space for everybody to do their own thing.

A-mazing property

My husband and I spent a week at Island Girl. I have never had a home so fully stocked with everything you need. We chose the detached bedroom suite and woke up each morning to the beautiful ocean views, more than a few roosters and the sunshine. We spend every morning at the poolside outdoor living area. It provides much needed shade on the hot days and the breeze out there was heavenly. The premises was spotless and the kitchen was more than fully stocked. Plenty of room for 6 people. I made friends with a few of the free-roaming horses and had apples ready for them when they passed by. We rented a golf cart to get around and that was fun too. There is a small beach just down the hill but there are beaches everywhere. Susan, the property manager, was great. She is a treasure trove of island information. She also picked us up and dropped us off at the airport. This is a true luxury property. Don't miss it!!

Great separate 3 bedroom 3 bath property with lovely deep pool overlooking the Atlantic in the Bravas de Boston neighborhood- (look up the origin of that name on google- fascinating)-need a car for the rutted road which is short leading to the short driveway. Home is nicely and tastefully furnished with almost anything you could need. Including chairs and coolers for the beach. The pictures do it justice. It is a short walk to a very close fairly rocky Atlantic beach. It is a 15 or 20 min drive to the beautiful beaches on the Caribbean side or to the town of Esperanza- and a 5 min drive to the larger town of Isabela - WiFi and dish TV with Roku attached worked well. Three couples would be very happy with the privacy and essentially separate kitchenettes for each bedroom suite. It has very large lawns unfortunately invaded frequently by the local semi- owned horse population b/c some of the back fencing is down. The horses are entertaining but you have to walk carefully in the yard or just ignore it. Pool pavilion is above the lawn and is a lovely patio- pool area. Susan the rental agent and property manager was very helpful and informative.
