Lovely 19th century house on the edge of downtown Pacific Grove. Easy walking distance to several restaurants and watering holes, and a short drive to Pebble Beach links and Carmel. House has been thoroughly refurbished but retains its charm. Everyone in our group agreed the mattresses were exceptionally comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped and there’s a BBQ out back.

Location was perfect! One block from restaurants and walking distance to a grocery store and ocean front path. Plenty of room and kitchen, bedrooms, etc were very clean. Comfortable beds abd quiet at night. No AC so I would not book if expecting hot weather. The grey couch in the living room is very uncomfortable and needs ro be replaced sooner rather than later. We sat exclusively on the orange couch. .

Great property! Walking distance to coffee shops, vintage stores and really good restaurants. Lovers point is about 10 minutes walking distance and we could see otters hanging out in the cove. The house itself was sparking clean and very well appointed. We would rebook without looking elsewhere.

The location of this property is amazing for exploring Pacific Grove and the beach. The house furnishings could be improved to make it cozier. Overall a good weekend stay for us (2 families with kids), and we would stay again.

Great location

The location was perfect for our plans. We walked to restaurants, the beach and easy access to amenities. Very easy check in and checkout.

Great getaway/stay

Great location, by all the shops and a couple blocks from the beach. Interior of house was well decorated, beds were comfortable, and we had a wonderful stay. Great for a big group.

Our stay in Pacific Grove was wonderful. The town is very cute. Lots to do very nice people. We enjoyed the beach area. Great little coffee shop.The house was in the perfect location. It had a lot of character very nicely, decorated. Well stocked with everything.We would definitely come back again. Shane was great. He helped us with our questions. We will miss 5 o’clock somewhere.

This is a beautiful property which worked very well for our group. It's in a great location, near restaurants and shops and Lover's Point. Everything worked well and the property is very comfortable. Communication was seamless and we really enjoyed our stay.

Our family came into town and stayed at Five O'clock Somewhere in Pacific Grove CA. It was perfect! The communication was efficient and friendly. The condition of the home was lovely & clean. The location was beautiful. We had a wonderful stay. 💙

Great home...will stay again!

This house is wonderful! It's very clean and nicely updated. The layout is comfortable for hanging out with a group and the location cannot be beat. So wonderful to walk out the front door and be able to enjoy quaint Pacific Grove within walking distance. We will definitely plan on staying again!

A Wonderful Stay in Pacific Grove!

The home is an historic legacy in a perfect location in Pacific Grove! It is completely updated and functional. My whole family was so pleased to be able to gather there for a family vacation.

Pros: great space for the whole family to relax and wind down after a day of exploring, plenty of room for making meals in the kitchen, clean all around, including bathrooms, and it was very quick and easy to get in touch with property management for help with issues!Cons: parking, whoa. Spaces available but may need to move around a bit, especially before nighttime. It’s definitely doable, and we always found a spot within a block, but good to be aware of.

Better than pictured

After a long day, we were so happy to find that the door opened easily with the code given in the email. The home and beds were comfortable, everything was very clean and it was a beautiful walk to the aquarium. It more than met our needs for the two days.

We enjoyed our visit to the property. Within walking distance of many local restaurants and oceans views, including bike trail etc. Be sure to note that this property DOES NOT have air conditioning. Not usually an issue but we arrived on a very warm day and sleeping that night was uncomfortable. It would be very helpful to install ceiling fans in the bedrooms. The home is beautiful and historic so with that comes low water pressure in both bathroom showers. There were a few windows that didn't open and a few that opened but didn't stay open. It would also be helpful to include instructions for operating the microwave which is a part of the oven. Street parking wasn't an issue and conveniently located on 14th Street. Please note the steps coming into the home and the stairs to reach the 3 bedrooms located upstairs. If you aren't able to walk numerous steps and carry luggage, this isn't the property for you. Management response to questions was excellent and the property was VERY clean.

Great location

This was a great location with easy access to restaurants and the beach. House was very clean and the beds were comfy. No real outdoor space on the property to hang out, but the walk to the beach was easy and plenty of outside space there! Would recommend!
