Deer Haven Lodge on 16 acres with mountain views and fireplace

Our reviews speak for themselves…this is the first review, out of 17, that has ever been less than five stars. When outside doors are left wide open, there is a good chance mice will get in. When I went through with the exterminator, there was food and trash all over the kitchen. DISGUSTING! Thanks to this guest’s carelessness, I had to pay for an exterminator to eradicate the mice. As far as “numerous mice outside”, isn’t that where mice typically live?? Outside? Worn out bathroom appliances? What? An older hairdryer maybe? Our roof has had several shingles replaced after a terrible wind storm, so some are a lighter color but that certainly does not mean it’s in disrepair, quite the contrary. Hopefully, future guests will see this review for what it truly is. Also, not one of these issues, other than the mice, was ever reported to me during the guests stay. The only part of this review that makes me very happy is the fact this guest will never return.
