Thank you for your review and for highlighting the outdoor space—we’re so glad you enjoyed it! The tiki and pool area are designed to be open-air so guests can fully enjoy the natural surroundings and waterfront setting. For added comfort, especially in the evenings, we provide a fan in the tiki hut to help keep the no-see-ums away, along with bug spray located on the second shelf. We also like to make sure guests are aware that the townhouse is located on the second level. As noted in our listing, there are 28 steps leading to the entrance, and we do provide an elevator for convenience to make access easier. Thank you so much for choosing to stay at our townhouse while attending a wedding in the area—we’re sure you made many wonderful memories at the event. Thank You, Beverly & Jack

We are sorry that the layout of our home did not meet your expectations for privacy\. For future guests, we would like to clarify that our home provides guests with their own private living space, and we respect their privacy\. We have lived here for over 20 years and have welcomed vacation guests for many years\. We are also frequently away, traveling for days, weekends, or extended periods\. When you contacted us from the restaurant, you explained that you were uncomfortable and requested a refund\. To resolve the situation graciously and avoid further inconvenience, my husband, Jack, participated in a conference call with VRBO and chose to provide you with a full refund\. We understand that guests have different expectations\. We encourage future guests to review the property description and photos carefully and to contact us with any questions before booking\. We value our guests and take pride in providing a comfortable, welcoming, and respectful experience\. We have rented out the property for over 20 years, as reflected in our many positive reviews .
