Our stay at Maui East was perfect! Such a chilled vibe, exceptionally clean and roomy! Love the location. Did get to enjoy the pool, very peaceful. Highly recommend a stay here!

Adorable octagonal purple home right close to the beach . House is situated with other octagaonal homes with pool in center. Plenty of room and grass to walk dogs.House was recently upgraded with newer appliances and furnishings. Very comfortable and had all I needed with my pet. Only drawback was a noisey, busy road, not the owners fault, but the city of Port Aransas for not having a noise ordinance about excessive load speakers on cars and golf carts past certain hours enforced. Would rent again.

We would definitely stay at the Maui East again. It was as nice as the pictures showed. There was no problem with noise despite the location on a busy road!

Very clean, conveniently located for beach, shopping, and restaurants. The layout and size of the property worked well for the two of us and our 14 pound pup. Kitchen was appointed with basics, and worked for what we needed. Loved the convenience of linens being included! Close enough to walk to the beach, or get the beach parking pass and park there with your gear. We hope to return one day!

We are so glad we stayed at this house instead of a hotel. It was so close to the beach, many restaurants, and shops. The area has a small pool that my child liked and had grassy areas for my dogs. We hope to stay here again!

Perfect getaway

We absolutely loved our trip to Port A… the place was perfect for us. The management company was very accommodating, the place was clean and fully stocked, and the location to town and the beach was great! We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The property was perfect for our weekend girls trip. They had everything we needed to make our own meals as there are not a lot of restaurants that stay open late in Port A. We had a great time and would definitely rent this home again.

Excellent vacation

The stay was perfect. The property was as advertised. No issues with the house, appliances, furniture, community pool, or neighborhood. Location was as advertised 3 blocks from beach, and easy to get to by golf cart.

The house was exactly as advertised. There was no extra items like salt, pepper etc. but they did have all of the staples like pots, pans, containers, utensils. The house was very clean and close to everything. We had a great time and would come back.

Labor Day weekend

House was in good shape and comfortable This was a sister's get together . We enjoyed staying here . I do have to say that there seemed to be a few things ( rules) that came after booking . Just to beware . Over all it was just a moment. And we did enjoy being here .

Family Friendly and Close to the Beach

This was a great rental for our family of four and dog. Very clean and bright; kids loved the cool layout. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, etc. Bring your own spices, oil, consumables. Beds were comfortable. Pool was a short walk from house and was small, but clean. If you are traveling here in summer don’t forget your big spray as the mosquitoes are relentless. That has nothing to do with the property, though. Just a part of summer on the Texas coast. Overall we had a great time here and were sad to leave.

No bad at all

Place was nice for the most part. No extra blankets or pillows. Breaker switch for the kitchen and main TV were off and I had to address it myself. Only 1 car would fit somewhat easly under the house in the driveway.

Expensive

I’ve stayed at this property 5-6 times since 2019 under different management groups. We really enjoy the place. This time, however, the code for check in was not sent and I had to call and ask for it. The representative was not friendly and had much attitude when telling me it was sent when it clearly was not. After going in circles, she finally said she would just tell me the code. Aside from that, the price was the highest I’ve ever paid per night with bare minimums. Sadly, I won’t be staying there again.

Clean and lovely house

The house was nicer even than we expected based on the pictures, more roomy and with an appealing layout, and there is a second small balcony in addition to the entry porch area which doubles as a 2nd-floor deck. We really liked the place and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The beach it is near is wide and is pretty easy to walk to in 5 mins. if you don't mind using a technically private boardwalk off adjacent Anchor Road that belongs to the next neighborhood, or you can drive to it along Sand Castle Road (off of the street the house is on) in about 3-4 mins. Driving to the main business area of the town is straightforward and takes 5 mins. In making the reservation, there was a problem with the 3rd-party identity verification service the manager uses (verifyhub.org), which would not properly upload images of my driver's license over a period of several hours, and all the manager could do was keep telling me to try things I was already trying, so that was frustrating while we tried to finalize the reservation. I believe the management company should consider not using this service since it is not in their control, and accept texted or emailed images of i.d. as most other hosts do. But after getting through that, communication was good, directions to the property were straightforward, entry was no problem, and everything was lovely and fine once we arrived. We would stay there again.

This was one of the best beach houses we have stayed in! Everything looks just like the pictures!! If I had to complain about anything (nothing huge) I would want a TV in the master bedroom. We will definitely be back to this house!
