We spent a beautiful three nights at this family cabin…the sunrises are unrivaled and the kitchen is equipped to handle anything should you want to cook rather than sit and stare at Lake Tahoe. We chose the later!

We had a fantastic week in Tahoe! The house was just perfect for us, my husband, myself, our 3 grown kids, one with his spouse, and our little dog. It was very comfortable and had lots of great spaces to hang out in! We spent a lot of time out on the dock playing in the water and watching the stars.We had never really been to Tahoe before and Paul was very helpful in figuring out our boat logistics, as well as other general info.

We had an amazing stay at this house! Plenty of room for our two families. Everything you could ask for was in the house for a wonderful vacation. Contact with the owner was always quick and helpful when needed. The dock and buoy setup was great since we were able to bring our boat directly to the house for our entire stay. We would highly recommend this house for any family vacation!

This house has an amazing view and you can see the lake from all the bedrooms except the twin room. The house is cozy and comfortable. The deck off the kitchen is large and expensive and is a great place to sit and have your morning coffee. The dock down on the lake had plenty of amenities, including umbrellas, chairs, flotation devices, etc. We spent a lot of time on the dock and enjoyed the swimming and easy access to the water. Some of the bathrooms are pretty tiny, but that didn’t take away from our enjoyment in the least. We really enjoyed exploring the West shore. Thank you, Paul for being a great host.

Incredible property on Lake Tahoe. Me and my family had a blast swimming off the pier, relaxing on the nearby beach (10 min walk) and exploring the area by boat.

Summer getaway

Our group had a wonderful and relaxing stay! The rooms had beautiful views. The playroom was fun for our kids. The deck furniture is in great condition, with ample shade for sunny days. The dock is well stocked with umbrellas, life vests, seating, and the kayaks were a lot of fun.

Family getaway

We had a great time and spent a long weekend here. The place was perfect since it was right on the water and had a private dock. The morning view of the sunrise was exceptional. The house has plenty of space and having king size beds is always nice when your away. We would stay here again!

Great time !

The Marshall house house was wonderful . The pictures don’t do it justice. We had a great time and loved being on the water .Definitely 5 stars.

Magical Stay!

This cabin is located on spectacular Rubicon Bay. It has 3 stories, all with excellent Tahoe views. As a bonus, it has a great dock for swimming, kayaking, or paddle boarding. Tahoe doesn’t get much better! You don’t have to go anywhere, just chill and enjoy!

Lake Getaway!

If you're a workaholic looking for a tranquil environment on the lake, this is your place! Everyday, took my oldie golden retriever to the lake to swim. Very special!

Family vacation!

We stayed at this property for a week with our older kids and we all had a great time! Being right on the lake was such a treat and so worth the higher nightly rate than other rentals. We spent a ton of time on the decks and dock. The split levels of the home gave everyone their own space. And the owner Paul is very informative and easy to communicate with. We’d definitely stay again!

Spectacular lake view

Pictures don’t do it justice. The view of the lake is spectacular. Perfect location. Decor is dated but house was very clean. Livingroom seating was a bit uncomfortable however the outdoor seating was great. We enjoyed using the kayaks. Overall a wonderful lakeside retreat.

Great springtime visit!

I enjoyed spring skiing at Homewood, Alpine Meadows, and Squaw Valley on this visit. With lots of snow on the mountain but the roads clear and dry, the commutes to and from the resorts were really fast. Much better than in a storm or when massive crowds descend on the resorts like at New Years and President's Day. With the later sunset, we enjoyed a nice glass of wine on the porch and watched the mountains over south shore turn rosy pink, then came in for a fire and game of cards. So relaxing!

Wonderful Family Home

The Marshall home is lovely and a very family friendly property. The view of the lake is spectacular and the location is very conve This is our family's second visit and it will not be our last. We are always so impressed with the care the owners have taken to explain all the details about the home and dock, answering any questions and guaranteeing that your vacation is fun and enjoyable. You will also find a very well appointed home with everything you will need for a wonderful time. Bring your swimsuit, food and beverages and the rest is ready for your stay! ENJOY! We sure did!

Beautiful house right in the lake. We spent hours on the deck jumping into the lake and took the kayaks out each day. If we had a boat we could have docked it right there as well. The house was very clean and kitchen well equipped but because of the risks from bears you need to bring all food/spices/oil etc with you. There are multiple rooms so there was always a place for someone who needed quiet but plenty of space to be together. There is a car charging plug but bring your own charging cable to connect to your car. Neighbors very friendly and helpful. 15 min walk to beautiful beach if you prefer that to swimming off the dock. Just a stunning place to spend a week. Highly recommend!

Fun cabin with plenty of space

This cabin is in a beautiful neighborhood in a quiet part of Lake Tahoe. We loved that it wasn’t super crowded. We went on walks every morning through the neighborhood and it’s so beautiful! Just beware of the presence of bears- I carried bear spray on my waist but never had to use it. A bear did try to break into my car one night when we accidentally left a door unlocked. The neighbors heard my car alarm and went out to find the door open and a bear print inside my car. They were so nice- locked my car and left me a note. We had so much fun playing in the water off the private dock. There are kayaks, floating loungers and scuba gear for use. We found a local place to take us out on a boat one day, then another day we rented jet skis. It was awesome! My ONLY complaint about this property is there is NO A/C. We stayed in mid July when temperatures were in the mid 80s and it got quite warm in the cabin. It was tough to get it to cool down at night. So just be aware of that if you plan to stay during the heat of summer. The owners were great- responded to all my questions and were very helpful. We’d love to come back- but maybe just at a cooler time of year. No regrets. It was a fun trip. Highly recommend!

Thank you Monica, it was a pleasure having you visit our home. We are pleased that you used the snorkeling gear to view the beautiful underwater features around our dock and where ever else you took them. I've had a bear inside my Highlander, too. Fortunately there was no damage other than to the first aid kit I keep in the back, and some extra dirt everywhere. Everyone definitely needs to lock their car doors to keep those furry critters out!

Wonderful Rubicon/Meeks Bay stay

The property feels much like a "home away from home". Outstanding location, well appointed for stay with our family and children. Our host Nina was wonderful to work with. Clear instructions for check-in/check out and use of the home. We will certainly be back! 5 stars all the way.

Wonderful Tahoe weekend getaway

The house was larger than we expected and the views were magnificent. Nice, quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. We really appreciated that the house was fully stocked with plenty of soap, towels, napkins, etc. - even a bottle of wine was left for us! We had a great time and didn't want to leave.

Just as advertised

Everything exactly as advertised -- great communication with hosts, amazing view, well-stocked kitchen, comfy rooms -- the place is bigger than the photos suggest. We were 7 and the place was more than enough room, spacious even. We enjoyed our stay 10 out of 10.

Awesome lakefront home

We loved our stay and found the home to be amazing, it even exceeded our expectations. The view was to die for and sitting on the deck was so relaxing. We enjoyed the dock and kayaks and would definately recommend this vacation home to everyone!

Incredible!!!

What a family vacation we just had at this house. Everyone had a great time spending time at the water’s edge or relaxing on one of the 3 decks overlooking Lake Tahoe. We’ve rented other places on the west shore that were either a 15 minute walk to the lake or jump on a shuttle. We ended up spending most of the time “getting ready” to go to the water. Not here, we were right on top of it the entire time. This translated to more time to relax. House is clean, everything works, plenty of space for the kids, and the owners were wonderful to work with. They had written an instructional manual for everything at the house and included their own narrative of things to do in the surrounding area. Awesome place and planning on going back.
