Thank you for your feedback. I am genuinely sorry that a citywide water emergency affected your stay. For the benefit of future guests, I would like to clarify several important facts. This was not a property-specific issue. The interruption was caused by multiple water main breaks affecting a large portion of the San Juan metropolitan area. Prior to your arrival, AAA publicly reported that repairs had been completed and water service had been restored. Based on those official updates, there was every reason to believe the issue had been resolved before your stay. Unfortunately, a new pipe unexpectedly broke around midnight after the original problem had already been reported as fixed. Your arrival occurred right after this new pipe failure had taken place, and there was no way for either the water authority or the property owner to anticipate it. Your reservation originally began on June 13; however, your arrival was moved to June 14 due to changes in your airline, nothing to do with us. As a result, your actual occupancy of the apartment was approximately one day. It is also important to keep the timeline in perspective. As describe in guest message it seems a longer reservation than a one day stay. During that day, water service was available from approximately 6:00 a.m. until 10:30 p.m., or about 16 hours. In addition, I mentioned to you that our building’s water supply is connected to the same system serving the nearby hospital area, which allowed the building to maintain water service for longer periods after the initial repairs were completed. As soon as I became aware of your concerns, I remained in communication with you and provided assistance. I informed you that the building had water service available beginning at approximately 6:00 a.m. Even so, because the situation remained unpredictable, I left three large bottles of water and a full case of 24 bottled waters in the apartment as a precaution in case conditions changed unexpectedly. My goal throughout the situation was to assist as much as possible during a municipal emergency that was completely outside of my control. We also discussed compensation while there was still uncertainty regarding the water situation and reached an agreement that I honored. The building had water service available for most of your one day stay, I viewed that as a positive development for your stay. I respectfully disagree with the suggestion that information was intentionally withheld. Based on the official information available at the time, I reasonably believed the issue would be resolved before your arrival. I also do not understand how a higher compensation amount would be justified. The original issue was already addressed through our agreed-upon refund. We reached an agreement regarding compensation, which I honored. I do not believe it is reasonable to seek compensation approaching the cost of almost the entire reservation after an agreement had already been reached and water service was available for most of your 1 day stay water was available from 6am till 10:30pm For these reasons, I respectfully do not believe this review fully reflects the overall circumstances of the stay. I have been hosting vacation rental guests for nearly nine years and have earned Premier Host status through consistently providing quality accommodations and guest service. While I understand your frustration regarding a municipal infrastructure failure, I do not believe this review fully reflects the overall circumstances of the stay, including the timeline of events, the assistance provided, the compensation that was agreed upon, and the fact that the apartment was occupied for approximately one day due to changes in your travel schedule. Hello, sorry to hear about the guard. Unfortunate, the administration was going in the process of hiring new guards. This was reported to the administration, they took care of the situation. Please be advised with all your respect, you are stay in the main tourist area, mayor city in San Juan, PR. This is not the country side. However, after saying that, you may had sleep with a window open. Regarding getting expensive. Yes, this area is expensive . You probably had not travel to PR in a long time. Since Condado is mayor city and a tourist area, the building is located in the hard of Condado. Prefect location , you can go anywhere. You would had paid double or triple if you had stay in the hotel across the street from us. Or any other hotel around. Sorry for the inconveniences

Hello, Sorry, for the inconvenience, however, for some reason I did not get your message until the next day when I contacted you and apologize. But I have to mentioned that during your stay the 2nd day I did reach out to you, to ensure all was okay at the apartment. Also I was in contact with you to ensure you had smoothly check in. Regarding the power out. We are in an Island, any place you go in the Caribbean unfortunately the power can go out. Unfortunately that day they were given maintenance to the area of Condado. Was not only in the building was out of power was the whole block. Again unfortunately the power going out can happen any where in PR We do have generator for the elevator, lobby and the hallways lights. In addition in the apartment the 1sr drawer in the kitchen cabinet are digital lights and candles, very visible to reach. Also, in an open space in the walking closet a big flashlight and a functional battery fan are there, also very visible, hard to miss. I’m responsible host. Sorry for the inconveniences.
