10 out of 10 Recommend

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Visited this area for the first time in early June and had a wonderful stay. The property was even better the described. Clean and well-maintained with all the amenities you need for a vacation home. The management company went above and beyond to help us obtain a package we had delivered on a Saturday. The area itself it wonderful. Our favorites were Crab Island and Deep Sea Fishing and Maple Street Biscuit Company.

Beautiful Condo w/so many extra's provided

This condo was so gorgeous! My whole family loved it very much. The place completely blew the pictures provided out of the water! Plus they provided almost everything you could possibly need plus so many extras. Pretty much the only negative we came across was that, surprisingly, there was no handsoap provided anywhere in the condo that we could find, not even the little hotel bars of soap nobody likes, lol. But truly other than that, they really did provide everything you need and more and we were absolutely in love with this condo and so sad to leave!

This Is It!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Look no further! This new place is what you want and need! Everything was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The beautiful decor and furnishings are also new. The pictures are exactly what the place looks like. They have everything you need including many small appliances and beach towels! I was surprised to see a kick board in the garage, so I did not have to buy one! I’m returning, and I plan on staying at Kara Lake again!

Excellent property- but be aware of the “Kara lake police”

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A wonderful property in an amazing part of the world. We have a fantastic time here and visiting friends and family and some fantastic places. A hire car is recommended to get to see all the great places. The view over the lake is so peaceful and relaxing, however only one fountain was working so the picture on the website showing the view is not quite right. We noticed a hairdryer was not in the house, after emailing Gibson beach rentals, they had one with us within a few hours. Excellent service! The only downside was we did have a knock on the door a couple of times from residents- apparently we are unable to use the glorious weather to dry our beachwear and other washing. The resident was quite abrupt in making that known and told us there was a dryer in the house to use ( not all our items could be used in a dryer)!!The second time we had a knock on the door was when we had family visiting for a few hours. They made a point of coming down and telling us that the car they came in could not be left on the street overnight. This was never the case but it seems lots of busy bodies about! Another point to note is that you are unable to use the toilets/changing facilities at the pool and the pool is not heated so quite cool on a morning. But does warm up during the day. We would definitely stay here again now we are aware of the “Kara Lake Police”. It really has not spoilt our fantastic holiday.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful and detailed review! We're thrilled to hear that you had a fantastic time visiting the area and that you enjoyed the stunning views and relaxing atmosphere of the property. It's also great to know that our team was able to assist you quickly with the hairdryer request—it's always our goal to provide excellent service! We also want to acknowledge your comments regarding the interactions with residents. We understand how important it is to feel comfortable and at ease during your stay, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We'll make sure to communicate the community guidelines more clearly so that future guests can enjoy their stay without confusion. We’re so happy that your holiday wasn’t impacted by these concerns, and we’d love to welcome you back in the future! Thank you again for your kind words and constructive feedback. Safe travels, and we look forward to your next visit!

June 2023 Stay

This new construction was everything the pics show and more! Everything was gorgeous, neat, and clean. There were plenty of bath towels and beach towels. Surprisingly, there was also a swim kick board! I was going to buy one, but didn’t have to. We also love the awesome daily pass perks! I do not have anything negative to mention. We will definitely return! Gibson’s Beach Realty for the win!
