Had an 11-night stay at Twin Creeks in July 2026. Everything about the experience was outstanding. Jessica, the host, was wonderful about communication throughout the reservation process, before arrival, and during my stay. The house is lots of fun! It is over 100 years old, but has all modern conveniences, so it is very comfortable. The house sits at the water’s edge at the confluence of the Beerkill Creek and the West Beerkill Creek, there is also a little waterfall just above that spot. The sight and sound of the flowing water is everywhere; you can see it out many windows and hear it throughout the house. In fact, the best spots to view the creek are while sitting on the toilet in either of the two full bathrooms! How many VRBO houses can say they offer a “poo with a view”? The creek is the real star of the property. Spent plenty of time sitting at the table on the wrap-around porch just gazing out at the lawn, the creek, and the little house next door with the groovy American peace flag. The backyard has a picnic table, a fire ring with Adirondack chairs, a gas grill, a hot tub, and a beautiful stretch of waterfront view. If you can manage to tear yourself away from this peaceful setting, the house is located so that day trips to destinations throughout the Catskills and Hudson River Valley as well as NYC make exploring the region convenient. Twin Creeks is a great place! I hope I can come again soon!
