This was the most charming little coastal cottage we could have dreamt of. All of the basics are covered here - just bring what you need to make the memories! The view from the living room and front porch were splendid. We enjoyed beachcombing with quick and easy access. The location is really great; easy to get around. In town for a family wedding; couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you!

Lovely cottage close to the beach and Wellfleet

We loved our stay at the beach cottage! We found that the indoor space had been optimized, the small details were very well thought through, AC at night was a blessing, and the porch was great. Thanks for the great hospitality and for a wonderful stay.

What a quintessential cape cod cottage! We visited for three days with the five of us to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday. It worked out perfectly. Scallop is laid out well and the location facing the private beach in the outer cape is ideal. Our fav features were the kids bedroom, kayak, and outside shower. We hope to be back soon!

Wonderful vacation

Cozy and clean Wellfleet cottage is the perfect location steps to the bay beach. We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was as pictured and very convenient that linens, towels, beach towels and beach chairs were provided. Also an outdoor shower. We would stay again!

Adorable beach cottage

My family of five had a great stay at Scallop Cottage. While this is definitely a cozy litte space, it was very clean and comfortable, and you can’t beat the location. Michele, the owner, was incredibly responsive to the couple of questions/issues that arose during our stay. Would definitely return for another stay.

Perfect little beachfront hideaway

Cozy, comfortable, charming and well-equipped cottage in an amazing location on a beautiful Bay-front beach minutes from downtown Wellfleet. Owners are helpful and responsive in every way.

Wellfleet escape

Location is fantastic and cottage is cozy and well equipped. Beach is steps away, an easy drive to downtown Wellfleet and great location for running and cycling. Chilling out on the deck was one of our favourite things to do.Only other comment is that I would recommend bringing water with you as the onsite water is too salty to drink and the clothes line behind the cottage needs replacing as the cord is rotted.

Fantastic

The cottage was cozy and was just what we needed! Steps from the beach and close enough to P-town, Wellfleet and Truro but far enough away to make it a perfect getaway. First visit but would love to stay again next year. Definitely recommend! Communication was easy and all questions answered promptly! Great visit!

It was a lovely cottage. A bit smaller inside than I thought. But the deck was a lovely way to spend time relaxing. And the location on the beach was fabulous.

Wonderful

Second year staying here and couldn’t be happier! Communication with Michele is so easy and if there’s a question she’s been quick to answer. The property is clean and steps from the water. It’s becoming a tradition for us to stay and I hope we can continue to do so. Awesome neighbors, quiet and friendly. Everything you could need. Plus a beautiful view of the water!

Location is incredible!

The cottage is right across from a bay beach. Watch the tides & swim at high tide. Fabulous! Cottage is rustic. Air conditioning & basics incl. Keurig coffee. Shower head does not adjust & is built for tall people. The twin bed in the 2nd bedroom needs a reading light & is not a very comfortable mattress. The twin bed in the living room does have a reading light , but mattress also not so good & slips off of frame. Owners were very nice. A basic place in a very good location. We had a good time!

It holds the perfect family vacation with lots to see, do and share in this magical wonderland.
